- SKIP BUILD: 0:12 Note that it is necessary to say "Putrescent" and "Death Sorceries" because the putrescent spells DON'T get buffed by Prince of Death's Staff. To bad, but they are SO GOOD anyways! I LOVE THEM! Stating that they are tier S is no clickbait or exaggeration, playing Death Sorceries feels SO SAFE and smooth since we got the putrescent spells.
I liked the clever use of Fia's Mist to hide what you're doing

fia's mist is one of the best spells for invasions. use more vision denial. can be really annoying😅

Ooh. Using the Hephen's Steeple was a nice touch. Such a cool weapon.
I went through NG+ just to be able to get two and powerstance them.
Best decision I've ever made while playing this game.
Last Death Sorcery video "you should have" "you could have" and this time I did. Fits the build pretty well, DRS as well.

Mainly AoW. Moveset is quite basic, but that AoW sweep is just full of swagger.

Mass of Putrescence is a brilliant spell. Many hamsters, after the battle with that boss, could not catch the timing to dodge, and began to simply jump. I've lost count of how many people I've buried in pvp by first throwing blue flames and then having a comet slam into their face when my opponent jumps. The timing of the charged Mass of Putrescence spell allows this, and once you have already jumped, you can no longer dodge while in the air. A brilliant way to punish those who were too lazy to learn how to properly defend themselves from this blue flame.
How does one learn to dodge this flame?
Also combos with hefty magic pots at longer ranges, just a crazy crazy spell.

Explosive ghostflame is so satisfying to time right. Someone runs at you, only to get a face full of explosion and ghost flame for their troubles.
And the screams are perfect 🙂

Thank you so much for praising the build 🙂 I also considered using DRS but didn't like the idea being weak when out of mana since it scales B with dex. I did use DRS pre-DLC though and always like it 🙂

Who cares if the putrescent spells aren't considered death sorceries..........we'll just refer to them as death sorceries for now on.
@@ZeriocTheTank the point is that they're not boosted by holding the staff that boosts death sorceries
@@SZMarcosApparently it’s considered ghostflame but you’re right it isn’t boosted by the staff oddly enough.
@@GoldBradyprobably due to lore reasons I’d imagine since the new dlc deaths spells come from a source out of Godwyn’s control being Putrescence and Rings are technically not Ghostflame itself just similar to it also Rings has a Noble’s Presence thing going on with how it only can get buffed by a specific armor piece being the Gravebird Helm

Nice build! My death build went with the Great Beyond Staff to use Ghostflame Breath along with all the Death Sorceries (also I’ll slap Watchful Spirit on the build occasionally cause its funny)

RabbitMoon desperately needs to start using the shortcuts for items with Triangle "hold" input. You have 8 total Quick Items, not just 4. It save alot of time on your important items in your builds. I also like using Hephen Steeple with the Blue Dew Talisman for FP regen. It makes the weapon buff free since you regen all FP used before the buff wears off.

Dude you make Fia's Mist into an art. Does the extra MP cost of Lusat's staff cause issues for you in invasions or is it not a big deal?

I thought intelligence starts to scale badly after 60. Why go up to 80?
Hard cap is 80. 60 works but if you can go to 80 it's worth it. Beyond 80 is when the scaling makes it no longer worth the investment
80 is the way to go, especially if you want to use Lusat's.

Would love if any of the DLC spells and incantations got buffed by pre DLC staffs and seals... but they do not. Prince of Death Staff for putrescence? nope. Beast seal for the bear roar? nope. its so selfcontained it may as well be its own game and not connected to the lands between at all :C
Oddly enough, the new gravity spells do get a boost from the meteor staff. So it's just the death ones that for some reason do not. Godfrey icon is also still bugged for many spells. Sorcerers aren't even unleashing their full power yet with bugs restraining us.
Well, no story yet, I guess that bell ringing will do.)

175>150 for invasions now?
It is just something I prefer right now since I played 150 for 2 years and often has been tight with stats. For this build I would say 175 is required though since it wants 30 faith and high int.
so why do u use the carian sceptre?
Cast with Carian Scepter because it has more scaling have the Prince od Death on the other hand to have the extra 10% damage to death sorcery.
@@justforfun98632Well the Putrescent Sorceries aren’t counted as Death Sorceries despite it being ghostflame in a way. But yeah Carian Scepter is the best to use with if you don’t want to use any additional FP for more speed or damage.

Unfortunately only wrong answers. I have the Carian Scepter as option when my FP gets low but I still want to cast a spell before drinking my flasks.
