Was at this gig! When del jumps off stage he came to gift me the set list and his pick!!! I was crying with excitement and joy !!✌️🎸I love this band so much ☮️
Stray rocked back in the 70s. I used to try to get to see them as many times as I could. Absolutely brilliant live band. It's a shame some more old footage of the original line up can not be found.
I used to see them playing live a lot around this time, my hearing never recovered! Great live band, I never thought their records really captured their power.
@@wynkindeworde6504 maybe not, but they did have the exploding dustbin! The idea was to get as close to it as you dared when it went off. Somehow I managed to miss out on seeing the Groundhogs but I had heard that they were quite loud.
holy fuck that was the greatest. I've always wanted to see live footage of them and just simply awesome. if thats not stoner rock/hard rocking then I don't know what is.

Wow, such great memories of Stray and The Harrow Inn, our local haunt in the 70s. I'm 99% certain I was there for this gig.

🗣 At the beginning of the 80s, I bought 5 albums of the group STRAY in London. It was in a record store - *Records & Tape Exchange*

played this track as the encore at the 50th anniversary gig at the borderline on the 18th November with the original band! Class
Nice cover of John Lennon 's iconic rocker.
GREAT ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
They would've fit in the Detroit scene (dying or dead by 1972).
The guitarist looks like he has taken every drug ever and is in contact with the occult.
Del Bromham was my hero in those days...
