I used to be in residential treatment as a teenager for troubled adolescents--now close to over a decade and a half ago--and once a week we had, "music therapy." Was just us taking turns picking songs to listen to. This was a favorite, and we would go nuts for it. Lol staff didn't know what to do. Love this song forever.

RIP Fatman Scoop…I’m from NYC and I met Him years ago with my Cousins at Hot 97 when we was tryna get an Intro Played for Hot 97 that we made using a Mobb Deep Instrumental. We was there like 3-4AM waiting for Ed Lover and Dr.Dre to come in and Pass the tape to them and he came in 1st (Scoop) and told us respectfully that it was crazy we was there that early and we shouldn’t do it that way. We were young and just wanted to be heard. Now thinking about it we should’ve gave it to him since he was actually a DJ but we wasn’t thinking about that at the time. He had cool energy. Never has the GRAMMY award for "Best Music Video" been more well deserved. They won it in 2006 and this video will always be in music history as one of the best. I pray we get another Ciara/Missy collaboration on either of their next albums!
I used to be in residential treatment as a teenager for troubled adolescents--now close to over a decade and a half ago--and once a week we had, "music therapy." Was just us taking turns picking songs to listen to. This was a favorite, and we would go nuts for it. Lol staff didn't know what to do. Love this song forever.

@@roselynholloway7863 I'm mostly good now, am a successfully functioning adult lol. I do have the occasional urge to self-harm and swings of depression, but I have learned how to handle those. Thankfully I wasn't put in one of those facilities where they abuse the patients.
I've kept in touch with some of the girls in my unit. Among those, I'd say about 60% are doing alright.
