Over the years, Pop music has struggled more and more to find any legitimate new talent, so they resort to Autotune and samplers to ward off the talents' flaws and keep them around for awhile until they're no longer financially viable to the music publisher. They can't hide behind Autotune forever because in certain cases the gimmick could kill a potential career in music by exposing what the singer really sounds like without it. Bottom line: Give me a real singer and real musicians anytime
