    My wife had tulips for her wedding bouquet. For our first year anniversary I will make paper tulips for her! Many thanks for the video.

    Such a useful guide, had to do origami for school - this is slow, clear and perfect for beginners. The fact that you say which colour up it needs to be is so helpful too.

    thanks for the origami tutorial! blowing up the tulip was a bit difficult and kinda expanded the hole too much, overall it was super pretty! thanks again!!

    This is probably the best tutorial for an origami tulip I’ve seen yet, ngl it took me a while to realize that I had to blow into the hole to make it inflate like that lol, otherwise, this was a very good tutorial 😊

    A really pretty and easy to do flower origami. and a really fun way to make with having to blow it up like a balloon. Absolutly amazing

    I was so confused on the part where you had to blow into the base, but then I got a safety pin and fixed it and it worked! anyways I love this thank you

      Thank you very much Paulina. If it wasn't for your comment, I would have been stuck on that weird skip in the video.
      First I turned on the volume to see if he says anything...I listen to music while making origami. Nothing. Then I turn on the captions, and voila 🙃 Blow!
      Blowing unsuccessful, to thick/hard paper.
      Safety pin unsuccessful, same reason.
      Then I just stuck a penicl into the hole, yeah it looks like a crater, but now it's done and ready for the next step...

      Don't touch the paper with your mouth. Blow from a distance. That's what I was doing wrong :D

    O origami tem uma linguagem própria e universal, independente de quem estiver ensinando e qual o seu país e idioma... cabe a nós que estamos iniciando aprender essa língua, iniciando pelo bê a bá básico do origami, depois avança para as técnicas que são aplicadas em modelos de origami específicos!!! Estou a 1 ano e meio nesse aprendizado! ;-)

    I made his old lily video from 12 years ago and made the stem from this then snipped the tiniest bit off the bottom of the lily and put it on the stem.

    Much easier than I anticipated, think I can remember all the steps by heart already.
    The rose is much more complicated than this one.

      Also it is much easier to blow it after you have creased the top triangle.

      The rose is more difficult, but that makes it so much more rewarding when you fold it successfully for the first time

    to anyone who is struggling to balance the tulip on the stem, a way to fix this problem is to put sticky-tape over the hole under the tulip and poke a smallish (but just big enough for the stem to fit through) hole with a needle so the fit is tight.

    I made it after two or three times trial. Well, it’s not that easy, but you know, practice makes perfect.
    By the way, I am a teacher. I plan to teach my students how to make this beautiful flower. 😁

    So I finally figured out an easier way to blow up the tulip. I used a cocktail straw and gently shimmied it into the hole. The stem kept falling over with the tulip on it. So I put a penny in each insert in the bottom back of the stem.

    i made multiplies of this cuz then i would give it to my teacher as a Christmas present then i took a box and taped them down then added a backround, i bet she will

    You can also curl the petals using a pen, pencil or just your fingers. It makes the tulip look nicer.

    I love this elegant design! The result looks much more complicated than it is... Only thing is: mine won't stay up. Even if I press the flower deeper on the stem. Any tips anyone?
