Looked good to me, I have a GV250. Gotta remember, it is a small engine. There's not a lot of torque when you shift but it pumps up to highway speed amazingly well for a 250.
@stayjit1 It was a remarkable if a bit unnerving experience winding this up to 11000rpm. I was new to bikes at the time and if I had it now, I'd be extremely comfortable doing it. I had this up around 140km/h one day though and it was solid.
@scepticusbatsicus I was, but it was a starter bike, so I moved on to a Vstar 1100 after about a year. I had concerns about how long a 250 would last me, but the guy I sold it to has 55000km on it now and says he hasn't had any trouble at all.
I have one...once you break it in its ok. I can get it up to 75 and im 5'7. Its lightweight and very easy to move and control... I think ill always keep this bike.
Another proud owner of gv250.... Enjoy...

Suprisingly good acceleration...!
So are you happy with it in overall ?

@emriaco Yes I did. I'd been riding for about 2 weeks at this point and I had alot to learn
could not keep up with my mazda 3, depends which 4 cylinders... the new 4 cylinders are faster than the old v8s.
Considering buying one of these. As long as it can keep up with a 4-cylinder car, I'm ok with the speed.
