In this video I showcase the fastest Season 14 Fiddlesticks clear for now, with commentary to help out in areas where people may struggle. This clear is always subject to change based on Riot's patches.

This clear is easier on red team, on blue team there is no room for any error and is easy to mess up. If you are on blue team MAKE SURE you DO NOT leave any gaps in time, you need to W IMMEIDATELY after using E and you need to get off your auto on the big krug and W as soon as your W comes off CD. If krug resets and regains any HP at all you cannot do this clear
Edit: Also I messed up and said "this is so you get more pet damage ticks on the red buff" when I meant the KRUGS. If you auto red immediately after using W on red and krugs the pet will jump over to red and stop damaging krugs, which results in krugs not dying to the 2nd W and resetting.
is the brief pause on raptors to get another pet damage tick or is it to make the chicken attack you once so it stays in its circle a bit longer

I cannot pull this off on Blue side. Would love to see a video of you doing it so i know what i'm doing wrong but my W is just not finishing off Krugs before they retreat back to their home.
@@frogcake7142 Just auto attack raptor at start, it's not slower and no need for any delays. I just finished 3:01 on the first try on blue side.

For those of you struggling with Blue side version of this (I very much was!), I have found the following is working for me every time and does not rely on the tiny AA window for the red buff:
Stand as far left on the Krug wall as you can ensuring that your E, W, smite can all land fully. Instead of AA the red at all, immediately after your W channel ends, start walking left and aim to AA the small krug as soon as you can when it rounds the corner. After AA the small krug, AA the big krug and immediately W to finish all. Using this method I had no more issues on Blue side.
If anyone needs a video I can probably make one but I think this explanation is hopefully enough.

Bro, you're such a beast. I struggled for an hour trying to figure out why I can't get it on blue side, and this finally works consistently. I was questioning whether I should just quit this champ, since I can't clear on blue side. Now, I can go to sleep peacefully. Thank you.

i started the clear on blue side difficulty, lol took me an hour figuring out why tf it wasnt working too, your ee w combo have to be INSTANT for the slow to have full effect

the krugs always survive with 40 hp when I try
I've practiced this like 50 times now... its all about getting the pet to damage the krugs. I've been warding the corner so that I can just auto the mini krug and then bigger krug asap
You need to smite IMMEDIATELY once you get vision of the krugs. Otherwise your w won’t do the maximum missing health damage and you’ll lose like 50-80 damage from it.

What a coincidence, just yesterday I spent a couple hours practicing the 3:00 clear and after miserably failing to kill krugs with W for maybe 20 times I made this adjustement myself too

He doesnt struggle tho. You might need some practise but if practise makes you struggle you might play the wrong game.
Current jungle is like 100 times easier than hardcore pixel hunting in the past.

I have tried this clear for a bit now and I have some questions:
How are you guys not losing vision on red or blue while they are in the bushes for the autos after the W?
And how do you make sure blue doesnt walk out of aggro range at the end?
If you stay in red/blue buffs auto attack range you maintain vision on them. To keep blue in the circle you kite it down to where the circle sticks out the most then you E gromp at max range. If gromp is highlighted by your cursor, it will get hit by your E, so to max range E you cast E at the edge of the highlight zone (as in if you moved your cursor slightly left, gromp would no longer be highlighted.)
@kingfidd Any inputs for a Bronze Fiddle OTP support? I felt the same as below comments on using my Ulti with new map configuration. I usually take either Resolve / Sorcery runes for hard versus hard engage lanes or Sorcery / Domination versus easier lanes for additional poke. I will check your video on Flash Hextech. For build, I am trying: Sorc boots into Malignance into Zonya. with ZEK ZEK support item.
I think that's fine, Aftershock is kind of bait though. If you check how much damage it blocks it's always a small amount so I wouldn't sacrifice ultimate hunter for it. I think you should just go double resistance runes instead and still take sorcery/domination. You can start W level 1 against engage bot lanes and use it AFTER they CC you to tank their damage.
Resolve is still good secondary (but you still sacrifice ultimate hunter) if you are in a super hard kill lane like Draven/Samira + Pyke. This is for bone plating and the increased healing.
I'd ban blitzcrank because (especially after level 6) if he hooks you, you get cc'd too long to even use W and survive.

Whats your oppinion of the new season overall? Im really worried bc there are so many sources of tenacity in the game now so I feel like you have to win in the first 20 mins. There are so many new tenacity sources in this season and ppl pick up Wits End and Steraks third if they are smart and then its just gg i feel like. I think Stormsurge and new Shadowflame are overtuned af rn so its fine if u snowball but if they get nerfed its gg.
Fiddlesticks is a bit weak right now but not weak enough for Riot to immediately buff him. I think he feels alright though if you just go Shadowflame first (Stormsurge is being nerfed) and then go semi defensive with Zhonyas/Banshees then build Void if they are stacking MR. The R cd does feel painful but Malignance actually feels lacking in damage and building it with shadowflame makes you too squishy. It's harder to gank now so play around ulting at objective fights instead.
@@kingfidd Malignance I think also gives Mana and Mana 95% of the time is a wasted Stat in Jungle. I personally really liked full glass cannon with Mejas, early game snowball and a stopwatch as backup in S13. I havent played in the new Season yet but it looks like its easier to get invaded so maybe thats why Mejas isnt as good anymore.
Had no issues with this in season 13.
However, krugs do survive with like 10 hp 80% of the time currently

Feels like i need to double auto hit big krugs for it to die unless my pet attacks it more often which doesnt always happen

I was masters being a fiddle OTP last season and I hit masters 2 seasons in a row with him. I know ap items are insane and damage is way up which is fine for fids cause hes just supposed to 1 shot anyway... But the new map changes make it feel 3x harder to get angles and being invaded seems way harder to deal with now. Idk i would like your opinion on fiddlesticks but to me he feels very very bad this patch in comparison to before. I mean sure you can still do well with him if you play around new season changes but I just feel compared to last season hes way worse and I feel demoralized to play him right now.I have been following you since about season 3 would really like to know your thoughts or if you can give a full in depht guide on fids this season.
Interesting, I am diamond (low) currently. I am having almost no problems at all and was afraid RIOT might nerf fiddle. I rush malignance basically every game, then decide between rocket belt (for utility) or stormsurge before picking up zhonyas. On this build I am able to play unusually aggressive, for example, to wait for enemy jg in their territory.
I'm getting a lot less kills through ganking nowadays, so ganking is indeed much harder than before. I've found a new play style though that feels more consistent.
First of all I am starting Raptors->Red+Krugs every game now. I just full clear and then I gank if the lane I full clear to is very free, otherwise I just kill scuttle then stay on the map and kill raptors and krugs as they respawn. I buy a large rod then clear wolves as they spawn for level 5 then I check lane prios. If top is healthy and has prio I force void grubs, same for bot with dragon but I prioritize grubs. If there is no prio but you spot enemy jg on one objective then just do the other one. Finally you do gromp and absorb lane XP for level 6 or do raptors for level 6 then gank (they don't expect you to be level 6 that early.)
Afterwards just farm and only play to defend lanes and try to save R to fight around objectives.
@@kingfidd ty for the feedback, In regards to large rod does that mean you rush zhonyas? I see people going proto-belt first... but for 2600 gold even though its cheap with the huge buffs every other item has 60 ap and 15 ability haste even with the active just doesnt seem worth it as a rushed item. im assuming you still build it 2nd or 3rd just to help close the gap some but even then it just seems like either it needs buffed as an item if were are comparing it to every other ap item that now exists or the other items will eventually get nerfed. I would like your opinion on this and if you agree what typically are your first 3 items, im assuming you flex the last 2 based on situation like banshees / void ect.
@@Bizhiw well Rocketbelt is even getting nerfed and so is stormsurge so I don't think those are worth it anymore. It's probably best to go Shadowflame into Zhonyas and just deal with the long R cd.

Blue side feels impossible to do. I always get krug down to a bit of hp, then it resets and the clear is ruined. I feel like im missing a trick, is there any advice?
i used to this clear last season but it doesnt work for me anymore.... Now i push red towards golem when red is low and i smite the red. It works very well
You can double buff on blue and gromp isn't that faster?(just right to the blue flower on the bottom wall between gromp and blue buff.
They moved the blue buff range back a little bit I cannot do it consistently anymore, I could in S13 though
were reset timers changed since this video released? it fells like now they reset a little bit faster
The last season I had no trouble with this way, but now the large crug stays at like 5 hp when W ends and it resets
This is 100% reproducible (this is a season 14 recording) if you can get the timings right but if you cannot then do your first W as close to the walk-around to krugs as possible, don't auto the red at all and move to krugs as fast as possible, then auto krugs once (maybe twice?) and W.
@@kingfidd The problem was I did exactly that and still couldn't finish the large crug. Tho I managed to figure out what was the issue, just had to wait at the wall for like a second or two so the jg buddy will go through the wall and deal one additional attack to the crug. No idea how and why, as there is nothing like that in your video, but it works so I guess it's fine lol.

1 thing is my practice tool always says that my game has been paused even though its not so i have to quit out of the tool and go back in every time i want to try the clear. if anyone knows whats going on that would be helpful. B thankyou for the updated clear but for some reason I cannot kill the raptors with 3W's 5AA's. the last w never finishes the big raptor so it resets. ive tried for like 30 min with a whole bunch of runes and idk whats wrong
The practice tool is bugged currently, this is Riot's fault. All you can do is just exit out and restart another practice tool session and fast forward to camps spawning.
If raptors are resetting you are just not timing your pause correctly after the 2nd auto. Just do a 3rd auto if you can't get it correct. The only runes that matter are taking double adaptive force minor runes (no cdr or attack speed.)

I can do an item video but they are probably getting adjusted very soon though. Runes should be same as previous seasons besides stopwatch being removed...

Could you please be a bit more specific on what "brief pause" means when you're kiting raptors to Red? Are you hitting S? What defines "brief"? How can I guarantee that raptor won't reset by the time I get to red and use W?

How do you clear from the blue side?
You can do the same thing it is just harder to do red+krugs, I'm pretty sure I have videos explaining this if you look at my most recent ones

The krugs are not the hard part for me anymore, it's the wraith, especially on the red side. Even if it gets to ~260 HP, you have to leave the leash radius in a very narrow timing window. And it varies depending on where you are standing in relation to the wraith. It seems like it needs pinpoint precision but maybe I'm doing something wrong.

but it still survives sometimes, with liek 5 hp this way... the only thing that seems to work always for me is put effigy over the wall into auto,e,w,smite the krug...
This method is working 100% of the time for me, you might not be waiting long enough to auto red or you have too much time in between your E and W

Oh! So the OTP take Cheapshot and Eyeball, that's why these give higher winrate, I didn't understand why the stats showed those obviously subpar runes get better winrate! Ghost poro is obviously better than Eyeball in any situation.

@@kingfidd It's a reaction to 2:09. That clear is awesome and researched so I'm just surprised to see these runes. By the way, would you have any advice for Raptors? The "brief pause" you mention at 0:30 is barely visible, and I don't know why I can't get any reliable results with Raptors, they still reset 50% of the time (making an additional auto doesn't even fix it...)
@@Divinicus1er cheapshot is just better currently, maybe ghost poro can work but with high elo vision control I am never able to stack it
Raptors have had their hp increased by 100 HP since this video so I would just auto them 3 times before moving to w them with red buff
@@kingfidd Ok I see. Btw, I feel like ganking botlane first is more impactful on games (backed by stats sites). Would you have a "fastest clear" for blue side, going from Blue buff to botlane gank?
everytime i do it i feel like i do no damage compared to you like the raptors take a whole extra W before the little ones even die

I fail this clear 2 out of 3 times but even if it were 1 in 5 it'd still be horrible. There prob would be a market for a fiddle clear than isnt harder than the rest of the game itself.

New map is definitely tougher to gank on. I've been having more success forcing the enemy team to fight us on objectives since there are more ult angles there. I'm barely getting any kills through ganks nowadays
Im try clear red+birds and fail every time. In last season i clear this.

@@readdear4161 if you're really struggling to get the pause timing correct after the 2nd auto maybe just do a 3rd auto. It will only slow down the clear by a second.
I got success with speed+sustain build, phase rush+mosstomper seedling+cosmic drive+mobility boots+banshee's veil. No more fansy jumps from bush, just running behind them and map clear. Also ult+w+flash combo looks essential now.

they don't matter for this clear (besides double adaptive force, as I mentioned in the video), I can work on a video for runes if you guys really want, I don't think they've really changed though...

Electrocute->Cheap Shot->Eyeball Collection->Ultimate Hunter | Testing secondary runes but triumph+coup de grace, hexflash+cosmic insight, and absolute focus+water walking are all good combos | double adaptive + Armor or MR shard
