I have experienced Chronic Fatigue & Fibromyalgia for 24 years, but God had promised me that this year I would get the keys to my healing and next year would be breakthrough for new ministry. God has been teaching me how to walk in the spirit and not by obligation to others anymore. Healthy Godly Boundaries with myself and others has been a big key to freedom. I forgot to mention I was literally bed-bound for 3 years until November last years after 5 years of working with my husband in a Charity Op Shop Ministry where we worked with the most vulnerable in the community. It was rewarding work but very hard work. I’m learning much about taking care of myself and seeking God on only doing what He’s called me to do.

In addition it is not just saying no to things, it is also saying yes to the right things, and being able to discern the difference. Oh, and one more insight…in the video you mention “it is not “something they are choosing to do” What most people do not understand is that there is no such thing as “not choosing”… not choosing is actually a choice not to choose at a deep level. Hi guys, think it’s a brilliant idea that Adam starts a channel too. It’ll be also a great insight for us women to hear the struggles of our men. Whether that’s husbands (or in my case future 😉) or male family and friends. With being equipped with understanding we will better know how to pray and journey with them through their struggles.

The 'juice' of the ego is hard to let go... It's a very difficult question to confront yourself with, what 'juice' am I getting out of my own suffering? This is a very wise approach to this teaching.
Dear sister Sarah, Recently I feel really led to watch your videos. Right now I am growing so much in the Lord (thankfully!). But I came to understand that struggles are sometimes necessary so that Jesus can transform us to His glory. The question "what are the benefits of not healing?" came often to my mind but I couldn't really put it in words. So thank you for sharing that. I will journal about this tomorrow. Two months ago I got a prophetic word from a brother in Christ that contained that there is so much on my heart that the Lord wants to deliver me from. Prayed for it that the Lord may show me and reveal to me what those heavy things are. Right now I am going through the answer of those prayers. I expected that it would not be easy to face the things that limit me in my belief. But NEVER expected it would be soo hard, haha. Emotional stress is so real! Letting go is really hard. Thanks for such a wonderful message, Sarah! All three points really spoke to me. I recently watched a great interview, on Craig Groeschel’s channel, titled “Boundaries are Protective” with Lysa Terkeurst. There were many gold nuggets shared. She said that her counselor told her “Children explain. Adults inform.” We don’t have to go into detail about the choices we make to everyone. Harder said than done by us people pleasers…but by God’s grace, He will help us. ❤ I also loved the analogy of the paint by number. I always thought I was a patient person; however, being in a wilderness season has taught me that I am not as patient as I thought. :) I think if God is leading Adam to start his own channel then that’s the only go ahead he needs. ❤ I know that I will be tuning in even though his messages will be for men. God has put in on my heart to pray for my Christian brothers as we need more of them to become true men of God who are brave and willing to be obedient to God’s calling in their lives. The enemy is using today’s culture to keep them as ineffective boys. May God bless you and Adam with a wonderful weekend.

Why does life have to be so hard?:( I have everything that I need, but I don’t have happiness, joy. I have to motivate myself just to get up and I try to keep myself busy just so I don’t have to think about all the thoughts that are coming in, but the minute I stop I get too many thoughts that drain all my energy. I’ve been struggling all my life, but even a lot more for a while now with sadness, overthinking, being overwhelmed, just stressed out about life. I wake up a lot at night and can’t fall asleep a lot of the time, been having a lot of dreams lately, way more then usual. I don’t know what Is happening. I try to read the Bible, pray, be a good person, but seems like nothing is helping. I wish God will give me piece, but I feel life God is not hearing my prayers because I’m struggling with same things seems like every day. I’ve been struggling all my life with my faith.
Another example of benefits from being unhealthy is the attention and compassion you may receive from others by staying sick…essentially the equations looks like this: sick = attention/compassion healthy = less attention and compassion This becomes a double bind impossible to free yourself from without God

Thank you 😊 I’m a new believer and God has changed my heart a lot and is guiding me and convincting me of things. I’m a 100% committed to following God In everything in my life. But sometimes it’s hard to let go and fully leave my old life behind, “people” things , habits , it’s an old identity that god is telling me to let go of but sometimes it feels hard . I know it’s for my own good so I’m doing it no matter what. Can you please make a video about how you dealt with this complete change in your life when you were just starting to follow god ? 😊 thank you so much ! ❤
But Jesus said Yes to everyone who needed help and still does. Our life is of service as a follower of Jesus. Unless you are sick or very tired. Jesus also got tired and made some time to rest and be alone in prayer. We shouldn’t say No to helping someone because we don’t feel like it. There is a difference between people pleasing and serving people. Jesus did not come to please people but he did come to help people.
