Hi Heldin, thanks for this review. I've bought the exact same Sonnet model for someone as a special gift. It was really helpful to see it in such informed hands. P. S., love the hoodie!
It is really obvious to me the love and appreciation that you have for fountain pens. It is for this reason that I will take into consideration your expertise when it comes to such matters. As someone else stated two years ago, you and the subject matter at hand are not boring at all. So, two years later, do you have any updates or anything to add to this review of the Parker Sonnet fountain pen. How has it held up?
@@HeldinWrites Also the nib is rhodium plated over 18K solid gold. I have a few 18K Sonnets and they are all lovely pens. They are smooth out of the box but for further polish you can try a 12000 micro mesh that may just take it another level. I like your channel, nice and relaxed like you!
The Parker Cisele pattern is not longer unique in my opinion as there are plenty bouncing around in so many versions! Textured pens do carry a special tactile feel and I love them .. I have 2 Sonnets in the Chiselled pattern in Silver Lustre and Carbon finish .. they are both lovely and I love them. When you are not writing, a metal textured pen has a nice play and feel in your hands.

Thanks! That's a great gift.

I really like Parker and Cross pens. I have always had good luck with both companies.
I've never used a Cross pen. They look nice, though.
Material of Its body(barrel) is not plastic. It's lacquered brass actually.
It is a very reliable and beautiful fountain pen. Enjoy writing!! : )
Wow, did not know that. Feels very light!

Love this pen. Enjoy :)
Thanks!
I was wondering should it be called a coffin. Can't it be called a gift box or a presentation box instead. Thanks.

Not boring at all. Do you have a Parker 52?
I do not own one (yet)...
Is de m nib Wel dun genoeg voor uitgebreide aantekeningen?
Ik zou eerder kiezen voor een f als je aantekeningen wilt maken. M is prima voor brieven en dagboeken.
Is the body lacquered metal or just plastic?
Mtg playmat in the corner
It’s a risk buying a sonnet, if the price is anything less than £80 it’ll probably fall apart just like mine
Aw that sucks!
You may have unfortunately landed a fake one and sorry about that. Genuine Sonnets are marvellous. I have a few of them.
