I have quietly followed Mikes career over the years,I have seen him constantly improve upon logistics, knowledge base, recovery time and technique. I feel like I can confidently say at this time that Mike has evolved into the perfect dumpster predator.
My computer guy would be tikled pink with those computer finds working or not, even the empty towers have value. Great score Mike, and 100 pounds of moters in one dumpster, WOW! 🎉
I watch these videos on my phone and often when he starts digging around I find myself twisting my phone around to help and the auto -rotate triggers and I have to get it back to where I want it to be...
I once lived behind a strip mall. The workers were always putting good items in the dumpster and picking it out later after work. I learned to get there first😂. Got some cool freebies!
Roy Haynes, America's Cheapest Man, said he worked as a Security Guard at a mall and was amazed at the new items they tossed in the dumpsters. He took things out and sold them at a Flea Market. He lives in Vermont, where there is 5 or 10 Cents deposit on all bottles, so he'd go to dumpsters behind Bars and recycle their bottles. He's very good at repairing items, like Mike, so he'd take a Washing Machine and get parts and fix it and sell it.
There's channels here on u-tube that specialize in that type of diving, not much of interest for me but while riding my bicycle I have checked out the dumpster behind a dollar store and there's stuff there, again not much that was of interest for me, I did get a couple of candles with religious writing that I knew a friend would appreciate and gave to him and a couple of bags of pork rinds for me.

I had to defend Mike yesterday! Some guy said, "He always sounds angry!" NOT our MIKE!!! I told him that his early videos he was a tad bit cranky at times but I think that was just growing pains, growing a channel is hard. I told the guy to watch his vids from about a year into the channel and he will see a marked change. Luv Da Mike!
Another great scavenge Mike, doesn't say much for the quality of Dell monitors if they end up in the dumpster. Keep doin what you do Mike and don't let the juice get ya....
@@lukelegg9915dell had great computers in the early 00s quality build that were so reliable you could trust your life with. Then Dell became cheap, moved all of its operations overseas, used inferior materials anything to cut corners.
Happy 4th of July weekend!! Hope the monitors work or your computer guy can do something with them! “Hose in the dumpster hose in the dumpster!” I miss when you used to sing your little song!
Hi Mike nice find with those steel shaft with pillar blocks for that shaft. I like those monitors you found. Have a safe and Happy Fkrth of July to you and yours.
Mike in the second open top in the metal you threw out there was what is called a block and tackle. It is a straight piece of metal, all rusty looking, with like a clothes hanger hook on it. About 8" on each side of the middle hook are hooks to hang a large animal up on while it is being gutted and skinned. I don't know the worth in Texas, but in Montana that is an antique and worth about $25.00 to hunters.
I respect and appreciate what you do Mike. It hurts my brain to see a fraction of what people just toss into the dumpster without thinking twice. Keep up the good work my guy!
In the home/house stuff dumpster before the last one, you missed some possible cat wire below your right foot all the way to the edge of the dumpster. Saw it when you stepped up on the dumpster. I was like, "Dude, you just missed some wire...". That's pretty cool though. Hopefully, some good news w/ them monitors. 😁😁😁🤙🤙🤙💙💙💙💜💜💜
Estou impressionado com tanto munitor lindo da dell em perfeito estado não acredito 😮 Que maravilha aqui no Brasil não acho nada 😢😢 Um abraço meu amigo 😊❤
I would so buy all of that 3D filiment from you. Pay for shipping and even a tip for my favorite Scavenger. One of my Bonus Sons is trying a side hustle with his 3D printer.
Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend! Be safe out there Scavengers!. Stay hydrated. Peace!
Be safe Mike
More river adventures soon ?
😎
Thanks, Mike

Great video Mike thanks for the scrapy scrap and such journey.
I would gladly take that 3D printing filament. But it’s only few thousands of kilometers.
Those monitors can be repaired. Just a bad circuit board and it can be replaced if they have a blinking light when is turned on.
great haul mike
The shafts with the journals are a good find.
Hello from Newfoundland Canada. I found you on U tube a couple of months ago . I love your show! It’s entertaining . Your funny. Keep on scavenging !
Yes, you just made my day!

Another awesome video - thanks Mike! Looks like you could've busted the waders out for these dumpsters lol
Mike, I'm amazed at what an athlete you are with climbing in and out of those dumpsters, and loading whatever is necessary on that truck.

Happy 4th Mike. You found some nice stuff.
