Allowing what they would not allow in their own country, to their state symbols. And I don't need to justify the hypocrisy of such people. I'm not blaming you personally, maybe it doesn't matter to you. I stopped being indifferent when the author of the film tweeted in response to the indignation of our minister that all the girls of Kazakhstan are whores. And then, hypocritically, deleted his post. Although, his text has been preserved in the logs. After such an insult, he ceased to exist as a human being for me.

I'm originally from Moscow Oblast, but my mother is from Northern Kazakhstan, although ethnically, she's 3/4 Russian 1/4 Ukrainian. I tried beshbarmak for the first time when I was probably 14-15, my mum and Nan cooked it together in Penza Oblast, where I lived for quite some time. My family didn't have access to horsemeat back then as it wasn't available on the local market in Penza Oblast, so they used beef instead to make it. It was delicious! A few years later, I studied in China and met quite a lot of people from CIS countries. A Kazakh student from my dormitory somehow managed to get real Kazakh horsemeat from his hometown and treated me with some real beshbarmak. It's the best one I've had so far. I was also friends with a Kyrgyz girl that shared Kurt (Kurut) with me, it was a really interesting salty snack to try. Very nice video. You surprised me when you said it is the 9th largest country. I have never been to Kazakistan, and I hope one day to go for holidays. Also, in Kazakistan, there's the wonderful Alabai dog breed.
yeah 9th biggest but very few people live there 80 % of the land is useless steppe , almaty is like the only real city ever other place except a few are mostly half urban half primitive tent trailer parks , kazakhs have lots of oil and gas technically it's a rich country but they still come to turkey in a huge number , they all say stuff like we turk brother and such nonsense just to benefit from us , these people have no shame , i remember a female kazakh police officer went to turkey for holiday just to work as a prostitute , there are millions of such cases .
Careful, falconry eagles that are too hungry can literally snatch out human eyes. Vavilov figured out in the first part of the twentieth century that apples originated in southern Kazakhstan, and this has been confirmed by modern genetics. Finally at 15:21 the eagle is getting some fur for roughage, which birds of prey need for healthy digestion to keep their intestines scoured out. Previously it was being fed only meat. The eagle kept making noise, which is unusual, so it might be in some kind of pain from not being exercised enough or being fed incorrectly.
@@Ruma_Kaalis_CamoranThey are associated only in the video's sequencing. She was exposed as an amateur to a potentially dangerous eagle, then she discussed the origin of apples. Then went back to the falconry. Falconry requires a lot of expertise to master, which is why Frederick II of Hohenstaufen wrote his book De Arte Venandi Cum Avibus in the 1240's.
@@freidenker8440 Here there were no accidents, but you never know when a wild animal will lash out. Even bulls can be friendly and tame for 20 years, then suddenly strike out and stomp their friendly farmer to death. People are safest when they know what to protect themselves from. Vavilov is important because he figured out the concept of "centers of origin" for many crops, to understand how they evolved. In some ways he was like a second Darwin. His rival was Trofim Denisovich Lysensko, and Lysenko despite his crazy ideas was favored by Stalin. Due to the rivalry, Stalin jailed Vavilov and he ended up being starved to death even though his science was all about improving agriculture and human nutrition. During World War II (the Great Patriotic War) Vavilov's assistants kept his seed collection going even though some of them starved to death when they could have eaten the seed collection and saved themselves. Greater love hath no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
Hi Eli! What a beautiful country Kazakhstan is! To be honest, I know almost nothing about this country and nation and I have never informed myself because in my society there is that mentality of not acculturating to a group of countries that are not held in high regard, but, in the end it's the fault mine if I go after common conceptions and have to leave them to those who are convinced of them. I realize that there is a lot to learn about both Kazakhstan and the Kazakhs, especially how they have brought their traditions, their language and customs to this day. Even their cuisine which is demanding and takes a little time but must be excellent. 🤤🤤 My best compliments go to these two beautiful girls who cooked all that goodness so very carefully. 😃😋 The boy who trains the eagles and falcons does an activity that is a tradition that I also compliment him for keeping this very noble activity and tradition alive. But a big thank you goes to you, Eli, because with your travels you introduce us to these places which, many of us curious like me, will then go on to get to know them better. I greet you and hug you.😊
Fantastic work, it is important to show the world and other cultures to many who are lost in their ignorance and sense of superiority. They become dull, bitter and angry believing their reality is the only thing that matters.

It must be so exhausting for Kazakh people when the first thing people mention in Borat... even I roll my eyes and I've never been there. Kazakhstan is a really interesting country it's a shame it is synonymous with that movie
I believe a similar concept was applied to my native Slovakia with "Hostel", which presented the country as composed of either backwards sadists or whores. The director recalled that when he said to his ignorant American family that he was going to Czechia to shoot it, he was advised to take toilet paper...

I was also friends with a Kyrgyz girl that shared Kurt (Kurut) with me, it was a really interesting salty snack to try.
Now I live and work in the United Kingdom, occasionally eating so-not-Kazakh food ... fish and chips xD
During the Soviet occupation many Russians were brought to central Asia to change the demography!

@@JFA-9019 dude chill, have you been to Central Asia? I am from Kyrgyzstan and we have a long and complicated history with the russians but we do not consider the Soviet era (which had countless flaws) as occupation. Nowhere in modern Kyrgyz history books you will find such a view on the topic. Maybe you should educate yourself first.
We have the same food "Beşbarmaq" in Azerbaijan, kazakh and Azeri cultures are very similar 🇰🇿🇦🇿
This is the legacy of the "ottoman" Empire not a pseudo ancient turko mongol race , you people are so weird , why is it so difficult to understand basic things , instead you created these made up stories to feel good . Before the European Industrialization , the "Ottomans" were the only link between Europe and Asia in cultural , financial and other things .
Your Kazakh friends are gorgeous
Do i agree or what. They are stunning
Apple is Alma in kazah, Apple is alma in hungarian too, hungarian people originate from Kazah territories.
This is true. And a person in Kazakh will be Adam😅
False
The guy with the falcons and eagles is impressive. Teaching such birds of prey to hunt like that looks cool.
What a great video! I just love birds and you got to pet them. WOW. That Eagle was huge. Those girls were very beautiful as well, and what a singer.
Beautiful! Thank you!
Great video... Kazakhstan is wonderful place and I was also in Almaty just about a month ago for few days... wonderful experience!
Thank you Eli
Another interesting vlog, nice to see the birds of prey they are amazing.
Would have been lovely to hear more of your friends beautiful singing, what an amazing voice
As always thank you for sharing
Wonderful country Wonderful People😀 thanks.
I am in love with her dress!! 😍
Thanks you for yet another entertaining informative video. The birds were amazing and your friends were wonderful.
Nice destination rare to be seen by media thanks to you Eli interesting culture and people .
Thank you for these videos. People are beautiful all over the world.
Love it, you are a grand master of beautiful, human story telling, Eli. Top league, simply heart-warming. So much needed, in our polarizing world. ❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much ☺️
Eli Your videos are fantastic and the Kazahs girls are gorgeous
как классно, такие красивые все, спасибо за видео)
From California with love ❤️ I wish I could visit Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 and leave whenever I wished as it looks pretty and I love how white the sky and ground looks wow 🤩 so pretty. It’s so hot 🥵 in California all the time
👍👍👍👍 I worked in Karagatchanak, I like Kazakhstan
Another great vid Eli. Informative and relaxing to watch. Your two Kazakh friends are very beautiful. 😊
This video beautifully captures the essence of Kazakh culture, blending culinary delights with traditional practices. From cooking beshbarmak to experiencing falconry, it provides a rich and immersive glimpse into the life and traditions of Kazakhstan. A truly enlightening and engaging watch!
Thanks eli
Russian is also spoken in Azerbaijan so it’s so cool how learning different languages can spread your horizons so far and vast countries and beautiful places you never knew before. Learning different languages is extremely exciting, beneficial and bonds people together. Thank you so much for sharing about their culture, food and language. That girl sings beautifully ❤ I loved that song she sang with the music. I never heard of Kazakhstan before this video so thank you for opening my eyes to such a wonderful country!! I loved this!!! Sending Aloha from Hawaii!! 🙏🏽😭🤍🤙🏽🏝️🌺
Great magazine piece, quite varied and letting the people express themselves with their culture.Very enjoyable with review snippets for language training.
Everything in this video is so beautiful, your Kazakh friends, the landscape and those majestic birds. I love how the falcon was like “you embarassed me dad, you think I’m fat and slow huh? Hold my beer”.
I’d pass on the food but the rest looks wonderful, you presented the country and its culture in an amazing light.
😂
@@RuslanAbyl Are you the falconer by any chance or name coincidence? If you are, your birds are worth the effort, they are amazing and very well trained. Loved them❤️
Yeah, im falconer and eagler, hawker too. Thank so much!
Always so interesting ❤️
Aside from the hospitality and rich dishes, a man will surely lose his mind and heart among such beautiful women, especially when they also have such an incredible voice.
Good googly-moogly! Ms. Diana & Shakrizada are beautiful. What a lovely video. Thanks for this......or "spasiba".
The food looks great, and the women look amazing!
Eli!!! Another masterpiece! 👏👍🤩✌🏻🫶
What has apples have to do with Hawks snatching eyes 😂
How about watching the full Video?@@Ruma_Kaalis_Camoran
Very interesting insight, thanks for sharing and analyzing
One of the more heartwarming episodes you have made. Much love to people's of Kazakhstan 🇰🇿. 😍
My best compliments go to these two beautiful girls who cooked all that goodness so very carefully. 😃😋
The boy who trains the eagles and falcons does an activity that is a tradition that I also compliment him for keeping this very noble activity and tradition alive.
But a big thank you goes to you, Eli, because with your travels you introduce us to these places which, many of us curious like me, will then go on to get to know them better.
I greet you and hug you.😊
I always liked people who got along with eagles, like the ancient people of Asian steppe and the Americas.
they are cousins across continents
Fantastic work, it is important to show the world and other cultures to many who are lost in their ignorance and sense of superiority. They become dull, bitter and angry believing their reality is the only thing that matters.
I like to get to know foreign contries. Eli, your video about Kazakhstan is great. I hope I wil have the chance to visit the country. Please keep making videos like this.
There's a popular Kazakh/Uzbek restaurant in NYC called Farida's. They serve Beshbarmak though they don't use horse using only beef and lamb there.
Then it's not authentic. Maybe horse meat is not allowed for consumption in NY
Horse meat is superior, so honestly, your loss
In many westerns countries, horse meat is forbidden.
@@EmilSosnin Dont listen him... ofcourse traditionaly its should be hoursemeet But there are many people here who also use Beef to cook beshbarmak its also traditional but indeed beshbarmak from hourse meet its much more delicious than from beef or lam
Another informative, enjoyable video. Thank you, stay safe, healthy and God Bless
I like listening to Kazakh folks songs, that are fast & energetic in vibes.
Nice watching this video & have a glimpse on whats life up there in Kazakhstan.

THANKS FOR SHOWING US THE AMAZING KAZAKH CULTURE THAT EAGLE PART WAS THE HIGHLIGHT

For all foreigners watching, Borat wasn't filmed in Kazakhstan. It was a Romanian gypsy village end Sacha Baron scammed them...
It must be so exhausting for Kazakh people when the first thing people mention in Borat... even I roll my eyes and I've never been there. Kazakhstan is a really interesting country it's a shame it is synonymous with that movie
leave it to one of them to be able to scam even gypsies 😂
I believe a similar concept was applied to my native Slovakia with "Hostel", which presented the country as composed of either backwards sadists or whores. The director recalled that when he said to his ignorant American family that he was going to Czechia to shoot it, he was advised to take toilet paper...
@@CherryDreamer96 Borat sox!
Great video, thanks. I would happily try Kazakh food. I try food from all the places I travel. If the locals are alive from eating it, then it's fine.
The girls are cute - I like the music, too! So natural and kind.
I've seen a documentary about hunting with a golden eagle - your personal report adds and enhances this. And the birds are mejestic and beautiful.
Thank you for this beautiful rendition of a country I wished I could visit some day

Aww, i love this song, such a beautiful voice. And i would appreciate to get the recipes ❤.
Excellent presentation. Thank you again for sharing your adventures and letting us see how other people live.
Awesome video, Eli! Those beautiful Kazakh ladies remind me of the Native Americans. What a beautiful country! ❤❤❤
I think native american’s ancestors came to America from Siberia and Central Eurasia (near Kazakhstan)
Kazakhs look different as this nation consists of tribes.
Some really look like Native American. Some like Koreans. Some have green or grey eyes looking like Chinese or like Europeans.
Mixed nation.
