Strickland is a f'ing classless person. Seo just wanted a hug from him at the end of their match and he acted like a jerk. I doubt he was fearful of Covid. He is just a jerk. I have been a big Strickland fan, and even sometimes defended his boorish behavior, but enough is enough. Everyone on the tour knows he is child. They probably get just as tired listening to his whining and stupid comments as many of us do.
It really does look like she went in for the hug. I understand Earl was bothered cause he played a shitty tournament…As a human being, he could have very easily given her half an embrace. I realize Earl is wired differently than most. Yet I’m saddened that he consciously left Seo standing there with her arms open. She was likely excited to have had the opportunity to play against a true legend of the game and wanted to express her appreciation. Cmon Earl your selfishness and lack of human empathy takes away from your legacy as a champion of the game. Please take a moment and reflect. 🙏🏽❤

I'm just commenting on what Jeremy Jones said about how he makes changes before he thinks about what the problem is. I think every pro even a champion like Earl needs coaching. You can't always see what you are doing wrong, or even what you are doing right. Sometimes it takes another person (preferably someone who knows the game) to see things you don't see. I think Earl STILL has the talent to get on top again, and I would REALLY like to see that happen.

He is ranked 106th in the world, which is pretty damn good, but he just makes too many crucial mistakes. I think playing more, getting really tournament sharp, would be a good thing for him. And he needs to stop whining all of the time - which is probably not going to happen. I am just worn out with his childish behavior.
Why isn't there any spectators? Surely letting some fans in free is better than no one there to watch. I guess this is how this event it's supposed to be.

Maybe the organizers of the tournament could have a few more referees for the long play tournaments like this one so that the refs they do have could take a break from time to time. This particular referee is an excellent referee but I have seen him miss a few calls during this tournament and I know it's gotta be because of exhaustion.

Did Earl just ignored the South Korean lady's hug at the end? if he did, that is so not nice by him. she felt hounored to be playing him and he didn't even take the time to give her a moment to remember for the rest of her life. This man is out of sorts, so arrogant! #disgustingattitude!
SVB just looks like he almost doesn't want to be there. I have watched SVB for years and his body language is not good. He keeps on missing easy shots, poor position play, not breaking well. I think SVB needs some rest. Hopefully he can pick it up but he is so far behind now it would be really tough seeing him win this tournament. As for Earl Strickland. Just no class. Always whining, complaining. His refusal to give SEO a hug is embarrassing. Earl, you are not going to get Covid from hugging a person. You have more chance to get Covid by touching the cue ball or just being around the table. Bottom line, Strickland's antics are horrible at times and should never be condoned.
