Good review. I personally don't like small hot tents at all. I have their octopeak, which, while bigger is still too small for stove use. For me, I need to be able to stand and move in a stove tent. The real utility of a hot tent is to be able to dry wet gear. Just can't do that comfortably in a tiny tent. I find squatting and hunching uncomfortable and claustrophobic. Doesn't look like your wee tent has any room for firewood either. I do love my big snowtrekker when it's real cold and I'm pulling a sled, but I usually prefer a hot fire and a cold tent
I have a Seek Outside stove from when the market was limited, it was them, Kifaru and about one other collapsible titanium style out there. They work but things have changed. Much easier now, shelter choice was also limited and expensive. Enjoy the set up.
Nice setup. That stove seem putsy to set up especially if its cold. I have a similar stove by danchel that unfolds. Currently has a $50 coupon making it $269. 👍
Thanks for sharing your winter setup! I'm glad to hear that someone reputable took over for Luxe distribution in the US. I, like some others, got burned (no pun intended) by the previous distributor. Curious, since you normally hammock, do you think you'll go with a hot hammock setup in the future?
