As a mainly Canon- and sometimes Sony shooter I had to complete my equipment with a Nikon Z9. Your video was very helpful for faster understanding. THX very much for your work!
You’re welcome - but you’re in three systems? Why’s that? Thanks!!!
@@KenRockwellTV Because I am some what crazy. Some people collect their cars. I collect and use cameras. My dream in former times was always to own a Nikon or Leica, what I could not afford, now I have fulfilled my dream. Besides: all Canon EF and Sony FE glass is usable with nearly all functions with adaptor (Fringer for EF and Megadap for FE). It really works fine! Again thanks for your work.
I am a new Z9 user. Your introduce helps a lot, saving me several days to dig in those new items. thank you!
Thank YOU for reading! Oh, reading is here in more detail: www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/z/z9-users-guide.htm
All bells and whistles but what a nightmare to remember where all the menu's are .I know that a lot of people will disagree but like to keep the mechanical shutter rather have it and maybe not use than not have it at all . Great video review again Ken.
Thanks!
Ken, you’ve forgotten more than I know!
Amazing.
Enormous amount of information in a very short space of time.
Very succinct.
Thank you
Thank YOU!!!
I just got the Z9 and this was very helpful to say the least. I was messing around with the camera, going thru the menus, because I was so excited, then I took my first pictures. I did not hear anything...??? I took some more, same thing. I immediately got worried I said to myself, something is wrong with the camera! After fiddling around a little more...I realized I had the camera set to silent mode! Wow, this thing is absolutely silent. Amazing camera, I have not taken a picture other than testing the settings, and I just love it!!! Thanks for the video.
Cool, huh? Thanks!!!
I planned on watching numerous videos on the Z9 today and ended up with watching just one! Now, how do I digest all that info😂😂 ...gotta rewatch for sure.
Don’t forget you can change the playback speed. Better still is to see the full written version at www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/z/z9-users-guide.htm thanks!
Hey Ken
Once again you’ve been able to get through so many features in a easily understandable way in just over 20minutes
Many thanks for your ongoing assistance and all the very best
Kindest regards Ron
Hi Ron, well, I talk fast so that helps me get through it. Thanks!
At 13:27 you mention not having figured out a way to move AF around easier... the answer is the little box in the lower left of the screen with the pointy finger... it says off in your video but if you tap that, it will scroll through Position focus point, Touch AF, touch shutter/touch AF and then back to off. Great video btw - thumbs up!
I was looking for a way to move the selected areas fluidly while looking through the finder actively shooting. Thanks, still haven’t found it and I think the Z9 just doesn’t have it. I sent mine back, much prefer Canon. Thanks!
I bought the AFS 300 f2.8 DII because of you and it is fantastic ,but it doesnt autofocus on my Z6 and Z50, it did sometimes in the beginning and now nothing. I use it for birds with the x2.0 and D7500 it's unbelivable thanks
Hi! I don’t recognize which version you have. Here’s the list www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/300mm-f28-history.htm The AF-S versions should autofocus. It’s iffy with the AF-I, and the AF and AF-n would never have autofocussed. If it stopped for some reason, unmount and remount everything, and here’s what stinks me sometimes: remember also to set the switch on the lens to AF!
If you have this lens www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/300mm-f28-afs-ii.htm it should work great on the FTZ/II. If not, try the tricks I suggested and the usual troubleshooting procedures.
@@KenRockwellTV this lens yes ,i have the first FTZ
@@KenRockwellTVyes this lens, where are the trobleshoot procedure ?
The usual troubleshooting fiddling: turn everything off, take out the batteries, remove all the lenses and adapters and start putting it all together again. Also swap different parts lens/FTZ/body to figure out where is the problem. Also be sore each works elsewhere; that the lens auto focuses on a DSLR again.
Takes the SAME images as my iPhone lol. Maybe at 5ft away subject distance, I love Ken, lol. Hi Ken, Patrick and I worked at OC Camera, lol. Hi buddy! Anyone who does NOT know Ken Rockwell or never met the guy, hes a wealth of both USEFUL and COOL information and he's the nicest guy and most interesting guy ever. I didn't get to talk much with you, but I was impressed with the 13mm buddy! Miss you, lol. I love what Ken says! 120fps JPEG at 11mp is AWESOME! Game changer and ONLY reason...(well and love D850) I'd buy a Z9!
Hi Patrick! So you guys left? I haven’t been there in a while. Funny thing is on my latest bunch of snaps at www.kenrockwell.com/trips/2022-04-slo/index.htm the iPhone snaps are the better shots! 😛
@@KenRockwellTV Yeah I mean there is some turnover at times like anywhere really but Roozbeh is a life-long friend. We just couldn't be friends and co-workers because we ARE 2 alike, like iphone and Z9 lol. But yeah, I love OC Camera and I know Mark a tad from Paul's, anywhere I've been or done around OC/LA. At least camera related! I love to support or buy gear from local sources if possible.
I just buy everything open box or used mint, for $1000 off with cash or no tax for real sales. I know so many nice and generous people who have helped me and done such nice things for me at Canon Irvine CPS, Nikon NPS, they are or were great. Things change but the more they stay the same. Haha, but always respect you and "ALWAYS will, Ken! Mr. Rockwell you sir are a legend.
You’re usually correct 99% of the time, so I almost always agree with you. As a local photojournalist I shot JPEGS for 20 years until 2020 lol. Yet used DSLR's since 1997 haha! I'm old young if you will, sorta like you, but in a good way. I just shoot or do what works for my workflow. Since 2017 I've shot D5/D5/D6/D850 and D500 x3. Back and forth and back lol. Sold D6, sold D500 2x and bought a D6 recently again after returning things. D6 is sorta a D5s but I absolutely adore the D5 and Canon 1Dx III.
So awesome why would I want anything more than perfect JPEG's out of cameras and easy workflow. I get it right in the darn camera on the streets while runnning from flaming fronts! I cover breaking news now and mostly for LA Times and OC Register or SCNG it's called. It's just so hard to do full time. I told Robert Beck, "Robert...can I have an autograph at an Angels game lol. He's from down near you, or was lol. He laughs, lol. Kids were asking for Angel's players autographs and I act 12 and ask Robert Beck can I have your autograph you are a LEGEND! So is Ken, haha. I don't want an autograph...just a joke lol. True but funny too? Anyways! Thanks Ken for making awesome videos now too. I’ve been reading your reviews since the F100, F5, 80-200mm AF-S days! You’re a freaking legend lol.
Outstanding. Real world, sans fluff.
Thank you!! I don’t like having to sit through fluff, so I make sure all my writing and videos are 100% fluff free. Thanks for noticing!
At 3:53 just use the other dial to set fps for CH mode, no need to fiddle with the mode selector dial for that. Also, watch the rear LCD instead of the top LCD, which would show those options.
Of course, but I’m covering how to get to 30 and 120 FPS. See also www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/z/z9-users-guide.htm#30fps thanks!
At 10:50, for the filenames, I always rename the files to -.dng when importing them into Lightroom. I'm not sure why anybody would want to use the default DSC or whatever the filename is.
I use the camera names as it makes it easier for me to find the original files again years later if I get more orders. Whatever works for you. Thanks!
Hey Ken. Long time fan of your brilliant camera reviews & tips. Are you going to review the latest 3.0 firmware?
Nah. That’s too much detail. Every maker heralds new firmware as if it’s a gift from God, but unless a new feature is really useful to you in particular, these always claim great improvements in AF (nikon has been saying that in every new releases since 1987), but I’ve never seen any noticeable improvement. The z9 I had had poor autofocus; just like the Z7/II and Z6/II, too often it gets lost and tries to focus on the wrong thing, or simply gives up and gets stuck. iPhone and Canon and Sony are much better. Thanks for asking!
@@KenRockwellTV I'm pretty sure my new Z9 focuses and tracks way better than my Canon 1DM4 when it was released. I remember your great job uncovering that mess. I was like see the tracking sucks. Again thanks for all your hard work
Your the man Ken, always the best reviews! The question is though- A1, Z9 or R3? thanks again for all you do..
East: R3. Canon has a superior system and support overall, as well as a superior camera. Thanks!
just wish the R3 and the Z9 were available to test for myself. i’m not giving up my 1dxmkiii until i see the results for myself.
Do what I do; order it from any of these places www.kenrockwell.com/links.htm#stores , try it yourself, and send it back for a full cash refund if you don’t love it. Thanks!
Outstanding presentation. Extremely informative and easy to understand. Thank you.
Thank YOU!!!
I recently bought a Z-Mount 400mm f/4.5 S lens for soccer. I'm usually position on the corner line behind the goal line. As expected the dynamic of forward attacks are awesome, but in and around the penalty area there's no more opportunity for in-focus as One misses the action with 400mm f/4.5 S lens. However for close focus I swape my back-up Z6: Which Z-Mount 24-70mm f/2.8 , 70-200mm2.8 or 24-120 be best use for swapping in order not just to capture the action but to get a closer quality to the "Z9" w/ Z-Mount 400mm f/4.5 S lens as a close-ups ?
I’m not quite understanding you, but I prefer the Z 100-400mm for this www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/z/100-400mm.htm
What's the best close focus length for soccer and Motor cycling, e.g. a rider or a person with the Ball advances closer to me. I use 400mm 4.6f.....My 70-200mm, 2.8 doesn't cut it neither and the Z6 Kit lens is still too wide? I hop you get me now. Sorry for the confusion. Oh I use both Z6&Z9
Always found KR useful and honest opinion blunt at times but good for me
No BS, all about getting to the point. THANKS!
Very helpful video. I was seriously considering a purchase . . . but at practically every turn, you're telling me I can't shoot RAW and don't want to. But I DO want to. At what speed CAN I shoot RAW?
Z9 only runs at 20fps with full control of all the settings like raw. Here’s all the details of the limitations at 30fps and above www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/z/z9-users-guide.htm#30fps
I prefer the Canon R6 mk II which runs 40fps without restrictions www.kenrockwell.com/canon/eos-r/r6-ii.htm#spex
Please could you tell me how to find and select fill-flash. Thank you.
Yes, see kenrockwell.com/tech/fill-flash.htm , Any modern Nikon flash works the same; I prefer my tiny SB-400 www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/sb400.htm or feel free to go whole-hog and splurge for the newest SB-5000 www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/sb5000.htm they all do the same thing; only difference being how much range you can get in daylight based on how much power you have, For most thugs the SB400 has more than enough power Thanks!
Many thanks!
Very good video. If you set Extended Menu Banks to ON, the Shooting Mode, shutter speed ( for S and M ) , aperture (A and M), and flash mode are saved in the current shooting bank. The "I" button the camera is also very handy as you have instant access to many of the settings you said you go the menus to change.
Thanks!
Which camera system canon, sony, or nikon work best with leica lenses? Thanks.
Have you cleaned your Z9 sensor yet? Is it any different than cleaning a Z6II? Searched for an article on your site and didn't have any luck. Thanks!
Never cleaned it. I’ve never touched a sensor; I’ll use my shop vac or this www.kenrockwell.com/tech/nitecore/blowerbaby.htm
Fabulous easy and even fun to hear about Z9 from you! Unlike others I have heard/watched! I got my first one months ago but it was a prototype and did have plenty time to use it in Costa Rican rainforests! If Z9 knew the results they will go nuts in a good way!
Thanks!!!
User guide and tutorial for 4x5 , for example Tachihara would be interesting to watch (in the way that You explain and comment things) even though I don't own one (just like Z9).
Good point; thanks!
Super information and tutorial. Carry on, make us happy thru your knowledge
Thanks, it’s trying to share what I know.
hi Ken, when I open the photo shooting menu, the first item appears is "reset photo shooting menu" instead of "shooting menu bank". How can I get to the "shooting menu bank" ?
I’d have to be there, but sounds like they renamed it since older cameras. Thanks!
Hi Ken, we’re waiting for your new video. It’s almost 3 months that you’ve not posted a new video.
I know! I totally forgot to make them for the Canon R7 and R10 when I was working with them last month. I just got back from shooting the R6, RF 15-30 and RF 24-240 in Yosemite - look for photos at KenRockwell.com THANKS!!
@@KenRockwellTV I thought you forgot us; your RUclips followers :) Oh I like Yosemite and I'll check your wonderful photos ASAP at your website. I'm looking forward to seeing videos of R7 and R10 as well. Curious to know if you have a plan to make a video about iPhone 14 pro max or even a live video to discuss with others and answer their questions like what you made for iPhone 12 Pro Max or sharing the photos you've taken by this new iPhone?
Finally - found Ken on RUclips! Good times !
¡Gracias, señor changito!
@@KenRockwellTV Ken, need your help.. I cannot get good focus combination for a true Gun 'n' Run situation. I need my focus on Z9 to be as steady as it is on my iPhone - just point it at the scene in front of me - and all is in focus, regardless of what's happening in front of the lens. My Z9 is focus hunting no matter which AF combo I use. Any advice ? As always - appreciate your help !
GREAT Video Ken
Even better comment. Thanks!
Hi Ken, have you tested the Z9 after the Firmware version 4.0 update? Do you still recommend Canon R3 over Z9? If yes, then may I know the specific reasons, so that I can make a decision.
No; I cannot support makers that can’t get it right when they release something; I can’t go and rewrite every review every time there’s new firmware. Hint: even when makers imply or claim that new firmware fixes everything, usually nothing (like autofocus) works any better, while completely new features are new. Thanks!
@KenRockwell on a budget used Nikon D800 or used Sony A6000 ?
D800! Pro workhorse. I got my mom an A6000, which is a compact consumer camera. Of course depends what you want to do with it and how much weight you want to carry.
@@KenRockwellTV I do shoot the odd wedding (low budget but wedding never the less) family pictures
Thanks
Great video Ken, Would you say the Z9 is even with the R3?
No! I much prefer the R3. I don’t need 120fps, which ibis the only real benefit of the z9. The Canon ecosystem and support is superior to nikon today. See also www.kenrockwell.com/tech/comparisons/nikon-vs-canon-vs-sony-full-frame.htm thanks!
@@KenRockwellTV Thanks again Canon is a great company that's for sure;)
Ken could you please review Firmware 3.0 and then share your menu Bank settings so that we can use them . Thanks
Hi! Firmware, schwirmware. Historically new firmware doesn’t do much different (even though always fêted as the Second Coming), so no time to redo reviews just for new firmware (it rarely changes much). I do have my settings at www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/z/z9-users-guide.htm#setup and as always, see KenRockwell.com for much more detailed reviews than anything on RUclips. Thanks!
@Ken Rockwell thanks Ken , usually what you told is the case, however the FW 2.0 made the Z9 totally different Camera , please have a look @FW 3.0 we want your feedback
It doesn't need a full review. Just have a look @ it
Thank you
Hi Ken, I have a question specific to the Z9 and uploading from pitch side connected via ethernet. to select an image currently you have to review / I menu / select image to upload. A bit of a long winded way of doing it. I am sure I saw but cant remember where there is an option to be able to send an image off the back off the camera by just swiping the image up. thanks in advance
Beats me! I have no idea on what software you’re working. I only download from a card reader, wish I could be of more help.
I love your reviews. :-)
Thank you!!!!!
When I switched from Photo to Video, the Grid display disappeared even though I recycled all displays by pressing the DISPLAY button. Is it the Nikon design intention? Thank you.
Beats me. I use dedicate video cameras (or iPhone) for video, never one of these cameras. Thanks!
@@KenRockwellTV After I posted my question, I searched on RUclips but no success. Then, I went to the Nikon Download center to look into all manuals. After few hours of searching, I found the Video section g in the CUSTOM SETTINGS MENU instructs how to custom the displays of the video mode. Apparently, Nikon sw engineers name the g section VIDEO to dedicate the video custom settings which are separated from the photo custom settings. Thank you so much for your reply and happy holidays season. 🧡🌟
Thank you very much, Ken!
Your Homepages and especially your “still pictures and reports” are so God damn good, I would not want to miss it. About the youtubes - I will try your proposal to lower the speed of your “1000 words per minute-language….” 😉!
I got your link a week ago from a friend and I must say - he is so right! Congratulations for your fantastic reports!
How did you take this Z9-pic? It is so extremely sharp and absolutely perfect! BTW - like all your camera and lens pics!!
Would you be so kind and could you send me a front picture of my 2 bodies. D850 and (since 1 week) the Z9?
I would like to see them on my 27” K5 iMac! Please send me also your EXIF data sheet! Or is this even a “studio job”, made with a Hasselblad…?
BTW: Many friends in our club would like to see “a slow step by step clip” from you on how you would set up your Z9 in the following situations:
1. Street photography: With a “average class - tourist lens”, such as 28-300mm
2. Bird photography: Z9 plus the new 100-400mm or 4.5/400mm or 80-400mm:
How do you set all the relevant points up in the i-menu?
Are you using 3D, AF, wide or pin or even everything manually (M), or are you using A, S, or even P?
3. Sports: Assuming you are behind a football goal. How does a setup look like from the perspective of menu-settings with this 100-400mm lens.
BTW: I’m thinking to invest in one of the 2 you discussed on youtube (the new 400/4.5 fix lens or “your prefered” Zoom lens 100-400mm. The reason: My 80-400 is not sharp at all.
4. Macro: Insects, flowers etc. with a 2.8/60mm f lens.
Thank you very much! Looking forward to hearing from you!
Best regards
Rolf

Any chance you'd make a video showing how you view your photos before transferring to computer?
Um, I look at them in the camera’s finder while they’re still in the camera. I must not understand your question. Thanks!
@@KenRockwellTV thank you for reply!
You made some comments about reviewing your photos off the card reader with a certain program so you're not transferring any of those 120fps burst shots you don't want. I'd love to see or know more about how you do that.
I can do it with window's photo viewer before transferring- but it's almost easier to transfer them and then delete in LR's catalog with the reject flag feature.
If this still doesn't make sense- no biggie!

Dear Ken i just got an Nikon Z8. And i notice that the IBIS lock , locks everytime you go to review an image. This makes a "clunky" noise and you can even feel a "Clunk" If you set the camera to Silentmode of if you turn VR off the noice goes away. Is this normal? Thank you. Kind Regards, Jonathan
Just got mine, have to open it. Most likely this is normal. As you summons, when VR is off, the sensor locks down. That’s good; I wonder if it does it with power off which would be good. All the ibis cameras I’ve used just let the sensor rattle around when power is off.
@@KenRockwellTV thanks Ken. Yes it’s good the Ibis locks when the camera is turned off. But i don’t understand why it locks when you go to review image mode. Thanks again. Kind regards Jonathan. Ps: this camera is a beast!
Great tutorial
Great comment. Thanks!!!
Ken I have a really stupid question. Why can't I see through the eyepiece and only on the screen. How do I allow viewing through the eyepiece.
Hi Diana, Sounds like you have the finder (eyepiece) turned off. Hit the button on the left side of the finder hump that looks like “|( )|” a couple of times until it says something like EYE SENSOR. Now it will turn on when you look through it, and turn on the screen otherwise.
Hey Ken, I have a question about a lens you reviewed a long time ago.
What do you think of the sony zeiss 35 f2.8 today?
I found one used mint for 200$ and idk if its worth it..

Yes, it’s a superb lens bus since it came out in 2014 most people have forgotten about it - this the great price. See www.kenrockwell.com/sony/zeiss/35mm-f28.htm
Thank you for everything
Thank you as always!!!!!
Great walk through ❤
Thanks, Lenny!
I am saving money to buy this beast
Why? Why not go with Canon instead as I prefer?
My Z9 battery would not charge using the old small Apple usb plug. I assume it did not have the watts required. Not sure.
Hi! Watts don’t matter; it works best with a USB-C to USB-C cord. USB-A to USB-C also works, but not always. When it does work from USB-A it only charges slowly. Details at www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/z/z9-users-guide.htm#charging hope this helps.
Hello I am still looking for guests who are photographers willing to appear on my livestream on 3/12/22 Saturday 9pm gmt. Hi Paul, I can only attend if you send your pro crew to me to do the shoot. Thanks!!!
Good stuff.
Thanks!
Did you just turn the Z9 on without a lens and sensor cap on? What tha?
That’s right! No fear. It’s just a camera. Thanks!
@@KenRockwellTV What? Must be a loaner, lol. How do you like the Z9 's video quality?
Haven’t tried it for video. Thanks!
Not sure why your findings regarding charging are so different than my experiences and many others. My battery/camera seems to be very picky about cables and power banks. I've never had success using any USB-A charging from either a power bank or wall USB plugs, all of which have plenty of output power.
Weird. All I know is what worked for me. Canon is picky; their mirthless only charge from USB-C sources, while my Nikons charge from everything I’ve tried. Hint: if you want fast chsrging, then USB-A isn’t fast, but will charge.
Will there ever be a perfect camera or have we already past that point?

Hi Ken, I ACTUALLY need your help! I JUST bought a brand new Nikon Z9 and also a brand new Nikon Z85mm f1.2 lens from B&H. I haven’t opened either box yet. I am a Canon user coming from the 1Dx Mark III. I have NEVER used a Nikon camera or lens before. I was tired of waiting for Canon to come out with a high resolution pro body camera so because I had no camera or lens I made the switch to Nikon a purchased these two items today, both boxes remain unopened on my table. This is why I am here watching your video. Do you think that I made a mistake buying the Nikon Z9 and the Nikon 85mm f1.2 and should return both items back to B&H and instead get the Canon R3? Is the Nikon Z9 not a good camera because of all the firmware updates proving that to be the case? I still have 30 days to return the items, but I don’t want to open the boxes, I could just return them tomorrow and get the Canon R3. HOWEVER if you think that the Nikon Z9 is a great camera then I’ll just keep it. PLEASE let me know and thank you again
I much prefer Canon. I'd ditch the Z9, I've never been happy with its autofocus compared to Canon, and Canon has much better customer support. I'd not worry about resolution, 24MP vs 45 MP doesn't matter; it's mostly for marketing (see www.kenrockwell.com/tech/mpmyth.htm). See my detailed reviews and contact info all at KenRockwell.com, this is just a summary in the video here. R3: www.kenrockwell.com/canon/eos-r/r3.htm and Z9 www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/z/z9.htm
Of course depending on what you do and how you do it your choice may vary. Your EF lenses all will work flawlessly on the R3 with an EF to RF adapter, half of Nikon's old lenses don't adapt properly to the Z system. Catch me offline on my contact page on my site and we can discus in more depth
Watching this while only owning a Z5 😄
They take the same pictures and the Z5 is so much easier to carry and shoot - resulting in better pictures. Enjoy and thanks!
@@KenRockwellTV Thanks Sir! Keeps inspiring ✨️
Z9 or A7RV ?
I prefer nikon over Sony both for color rendition as well as far superior ergonomics. I prefer Canon over any other brand.
@@KenRockwellTV you mean you prefer canon over nikon ?
@@gurugamer8632 Absolutely; for mirrorless Canon is way ahead of Nikon. Nikon survives only resting on its laurels from Nikon DSLR users too lazy to update to Canon for mirrorless.
So many youtube about z9 but nowhere to buy
It’s easy to get one. Do as I did and order at B&H here www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1629829-REG/nikon_z_9_mirrorless_digital.html/BI/287/KBID/1037 and be patient. Most people don’t realize that these come on and go out to people like me (who have them on order) all the time, without ever showing as “in stock” because they never make it to “stock.”
no laptop has a 4k resolution monitor?!?
Exactly. You can’t see 4k unless you have about a 55” screen or bigger from 2 feet (70cm) or closer.
Ken, Wher art thou???
Right here!
Can i ask sum?
Yes, but please first read the full guide at www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/z/z9-users-guide.htm thanks!

@@alirafshanjany8087 anyone can steal any image from anywhere to use for anything. Doesn’t make it true. Thanks!

Thanks!
All certainly very interesting - but unfortunately way too fast! There are still a few other Nikon freaks in this world, who don't have English as their mother tongue, but who at least made an effort to learn English - in contrast to the 98% of all US-Americans, who strictly live according to the principle "one language and one currency"...
Millions of viewers of this RUclips story would be love to follow you - but please take it easy and speak please a little slower!
Thank you and best regards!
Rolf
Grußen Rolf, I speak so fast Americans can’t understand me either. No worries; find the gear or settings icon in however you’re viewing this, select PLAYBACK SPEED, and try 0.75 or 0.5x. Problem solved!
dude, im tired. either you be consistent in material you put out. cause im already out the door. one time you post many things, other times monhts till you post something. be consistent or feck off.
or youll be on a black list
A black list? I don’t live for RUclips; I actually have to shoot and produce images to live. When I have time to waste making videos I do, but it’s all for fun. That’s the benefit of my channel: I’m a seasoned active shooter, not one of the many who spends more time talking about it than actually doing it. Look for image portfolios by the people who put out a lot of videos and you’ll discover they have none; they are just shallow shells with no body of good photographic work they’ve created. Those people talk themselves to death about cameras, but lack the experience or skill to be saying anything useful. My portfolio is here www.kenrockwell.com/gallery.htm and you can read about the people with lots of videos here www.kenrockwell.com/tech/2-kinds-of-photographers.htm thanks for your support!
@@KenRockwellTVKen, you have hit the nail perfectly! This is absolutely true. I regularly read your reviews on your website and I have noticed that several in depth details that you mention are nowhere else found. Take care and keep producing fabulous tutorials for the photographer community.
Thanks Ken, I’ve always appreciated your vids and now that I’m expecting to receive my z9 this morning it is all that much more important! Tom KC3QAC
