I love wrap ups! If you never made this wrap up, I would have never known that you also loved She Gets The Girl, one of my fave reads of this year! I read it back in June on audio from my library, paused a quarter of the way into the book, and went to the bookstore to get a physical copy! I also read their newest, Make My Wish Come True! It was great, but I was also most excited when I found out the authors have since had a daughter together. Love to see gay people thriving!

Oh my gosh thank you! I was so annoyed by House that Horror Built and like I wanted the costume reveal to be way creepier or something and was let down by the actual ending.I also loved She Gets the Girl, but wait a Christmas one exists?!
I’m glad to hear someone else felt similarly to how I felt about Bury your Gays - reading the reviews I felt like I was missing something but to me the book felt YA (or really just over the top cheesy in terms of wrapping up the themes) and I also agree the monsters and backstory was interesting but everything just wrapped up a bit too conveniently.
The Captive Prince by C. S pacat is one of my all time favorite series. It lives in my brain 24/7 I still haven’t read Dark Rise though, hopefully in 2025
