OMG I'm sooo happy I decided to watch sewing videos even though my patterns are mostly put away now. I found your IG a lomg time ago when I was looking for all clothes made with scuba knit fabric. Subscribed!
Agreed I have never been in a sewing group where everyone is sew nice on sharing their tips & where they got their supplies I drop out them other groups I only need her group I love seeing everyone share their finish look always beautiful work
Great tutorial ! To make my videos myself I purchased a tripod and bought a tablet and regular cell phone attachment that screwed onto the tripod. You can find the tripod and the holder on Amazon or eBay for cheep. it makes doing your own videos so easy.
Hello there. I love love love luv love love luv your video! I've never done this before and I'm doing a prom dress for my granddaughter and I want it to be right. She wants it in layers though starting from her knees. So I'm thinking I will need to probably put it on like you show but do 3 rows. Then cut the second and fourth layers? Thanks so much for sharing.
i just have one question, ok maybe 2 are we using a straight stitch or zig zag, or does that matter, or does the same rules apply for when sewing stretchy vs non stretch fabrics ?
Great video, and I am filing this for future reference. Please don't forget you said once prom season was over you were going to show how to do beading. Keep up the good work.
can't wait will it be a youtube or do you plan on going live in the group? By the way you should consider having your own group..you are giving out some good info why not build your own.
Betty Bain I'll definitely think about that ! Don't want any bad vibes but at the moment. Going live & RUclips is best! But I will definitely consider it by prom Season which starts in October!!!
Hi I love it! Thanks so much it's a big help ❤ how do you Attach it to the dress? What if the circle hole for attachment get bigger from putting the tulle on?
So if you were going to do this on a tulle bottom for a dress with a train, would you need to do anything different or would the concentric circle technique work even though you'd be sewing more of an oblong route instead of a circle? Does that make sense?
Hi Anita, I'm still learning from your videos it's amazing💞. But I have a problem rignt now that I want you to helpe with or if possible make video on it. I kind of wonder the amount of yards you'd need to sew a train gown for either wedding or reception dress. Can you please help me on that, and also how to prepare pattern for that please. Thanks and lots of love.
Pricilla Amoah I have videos on that hun please watch all of my review videos also it depends on your clients measurements and how long they want the train a gown can take 4 to 7 yards depends on design style and size plus the length of fabric
I am starting a clothing line. I have taught myself. There is alot I need to learn but I do have some basic things down. I would like to know how do I make garments for others as far as knowing their measurments and figuring them into the garment? Thank you!!!!
Omg girl you're so smart with this method!! I'm definitely gonna try this! How many yards would u recommend for a 9 year old skirt? U think I need a whole bolt??
House Of Nicole hey love ! I don't have any bridal gowns to repair or fix so that would be hard for me todo but you can also inbox Or DM me on snap ! Would love to help
You said you was doing 2 different colors of tulle on base you showed only one color layering twice to get the 4 layers of tulle how do you add the second color if you really need it now
this is awesome and time efficient. I love your videos. how do you attached the mermaid bottom to dress with it being so heavy so that it doesn't look like its pulling at the seam?
Allisha Mccray It will look like a basic seam! Depending on what fabric you use it won't look like it's pulling / you will need a good base fabric for the top or a heavier one !
Thanks girl straight to the point so precise i did learn thank you .
hahaha I laughed so hard when she said get as close to the screen as you can because I literally moved up right before she said that 😂😂😂♥️
Amazing tutorial!! You made this so easy and time saving. The only part I’m not clear on how to attach to skirt of dress.

Keyona Bell yes. Just make your center back base longer & start your Tulle st the bottom center back and follow same method

This is dope thanks for sharing this method
So if you were going to do this on a tulle bottom for a dress with a train, would you need to do anything different or would the concentric circle technique work even though you'd be sewing more of an oblong route instead of a circle? Does that make sense?
I have a question . Does this method work if your doing it at the waist for a toddler gown skirt?
Also if you want it longer the skirt would you just start lower ? With the tulle and add more layers?
Your a life saver
When you was sewing the tool onto the ponti, did you use a zigzag or just a straight stitch.
Tj's Grubs no Zig zag
Thanks for sharing this was straight to the point
Do you have a video on making and sewing a corset to a wedding dress?
Diane McCall scroll down ! & no
Tanx for the tutorial, but can I also cover the tulle with fabrics?
Kafayah Olajumoke Jimoh - Oladele most definitely
That is a very quick method.
I’m glad I used your method but now I’m struggling attaching it to the dress🙈
You said put your notch on 4. Is that a zig zag stitch, since you're sewing it on ponte knit??
PSALMSOFSONGS i have a industrial machaine so notch 4 is just a loser thread
Hi Anita, I'm still learning from your videos it's amazing💞. But I have a problem rignt now that I want you to helpe with or if possible make video on it. this is awesome and time efficient. I love your videos. how do you attached the mermaid bottom to dress with it being so heavy so that it doesn't look like its pulling at the seam?
Allisha Mccray
It will look like a basic seam! Depending on what fabric you use it won't look like it's pulling / you will need a good base fabric for the top or a heavier one !
Could you show how you attached the bottom to the dress
Mi'Cah Jones just like any other hun ! Seam to seam!
