I will have a 9 hours layover in HGK soon and luckily got a free entry from Cathay Pacific for the Plaza Premium Hall (West Lounge). I'm a bit excited, it will be my first visit in a airport lounge. Thanks for the vid, now I'm looking forward to this!
Been there near the 1-4 gates.. mad crowd, but still better than outside :-). Food was great the first time we were there... 2nd time, you realized it is the same item...3rd time i have enough points to get access to Cathay business lounge... 10x better... Can't wait Amex Centurion opening in HK soon.. but i don't i have another opportunity to HK in near future :-)

Please note that the first stop on the train only runs one way from security to the ~40 gate area, so you MUST walk the 15 mins back to the low-number gates!!! The return direction only carries non-secure arrival passengers, although the next stop to the midfield concourse is bidirectional for departing passengers.
I'll probably visit the lounge this September.. But you know my concern is... Do they have any vegetarian options? I'm comfortable with chicken, fish and eggs though
At Hong Kong or Kowloon Airport express station. You can fully check in and get your boarding pass there, then go out for the day and come back to get the train to the airport later. Great if you need to check out of your hotel early, but have a night flight.
a very nice video. the first lounge looked fancier but both lounges looked real nice. I guess there was a long line for a shower the first lounge or was it that they don't have many showers in lounge 1? I like soccer better. so of the people who were in the lounges are they mostly business travelers , people who travel a lot like on vacation?
+christofire100 they didn't ask for any ID, just for my priority pass card and my boarding pass. But that is a good question, I will have to research that. Perhaps I will address that in an up coming video I will do about Priority Pass.
Great video except for one thing. That very weird sport you refer to is called rodeo. Bull riders with testicles the size of soccer balls ride 1200 pound beast with horns. Soccer is full of pansies that flop to the ground and pretend to be hurt. Then when they score one time in the whole match, they run and slide across the grass like they are the best thing since sliced bread. After that, they get together as a team for a make out session.

Ah yes the Centurion, we just got the Platinum, but sadly the centurion isn't quite open yet, so didn't have the chance on this trip.

I'm now in the Plaza Lounge in Taipei. It's wonderful, it has a Chef and showers. I am worried for the lounges at JFK and Priority Pass.

+Mark Santucci first lounge just had one shower, second lounge had 6. You are right, the first one was fancier, but the second one was more relaxing.

Correct. You book it as normal on your CSR and chase applies credits for those transaction, up to $300.
