I've never tried a floating breakfast but that just seems like the perfect experience. Soaking in a comfortable pool overlooking the ocean with the most delectable foods. Congrats on the 21st anniversary and cheers to many more!
The floating breakfast was a unique experience, It is our first one in the Maldives. but it is more for photos because eating on the table is more comfortable 😊 Thanks for your congratulations wishes ❤❤❤

@@CoachSherri The island is largely man-made. But In my personal opinion, this island’s beauty beach and lagoon is beyond words and even nicer than most Maldives islands 😊
Some fish can be seen underwater at the lagoon (but not lots of colorful), There is a lot of white sand under the lagoon, so you can see the crystal blue lagoon 😊
We booked the package (4 nights room rate for sunset water pool villa, breakfast and dinner, speedboat transfer, floating breakfast, one time Spa massage for two adults) and spent about USD 8750 for the trip. We are not a travel agent or part of the travel industry. You can check the room rates and availability on the Patina website for reference. The travel agency promotions should offer a discount (better offers than official website) We went there during the March 2024 and you can even find better deals in the low season (May to Oct)
The walkway on the side of the villa can directly connect to the swimming pool area, which may be for convenience of cleaning, but it can not enter the indoor area of the villa
Really surprised by all the positive comments. This is listed as a luxury resort? I’ve seen RV parks more appealing. I just don’t get it. You would have to pay me, to stay there, and trust me, you don’t have that kind of cash 😵💫
We have stayed at 17 resorts in the Maldives, I would recommend Velaa Private Island or Cheval Blanc Randheli first if you prefer the most luxury resort. Personally, Patina is still an excellent resort 😊

However, the area where this resort is located traditionally has a lot of seaweed, and the east beach has quite strong waves. Wasn't the current on the east beach, that is, the sun rise side, too strong?
The current on the east side is strong during the dry season (Nov. to Apr.) I would recommend the villas on the sunset sides.The resort main area (lagoons and beaches) are still and beautiful. It is a good place for the vacation 😊

@ I didn’t realize it’s man made. So, is there fish life in the water? How did they get the lagoon water to be so blue?
