Despite the fact this sounds like a slightly desaturated version of their self-titled, which I did enjoy quite a lot, I'm still looking forward to giving this record the benefit of the doubt. Longtime fan of the band here that owns all their discography and I don't really see it in a shallow black or white type of way. I really want to like this record, hopefully. I really, really do haha.
J Morris the Review Guy I don’t see it as black or white either. But I haven’t liked any of the singles from this upcoming album, but I loved the last album.
Same i loved most of the self titled album. I like The violence and antisocialist but the others? Idk maybe they'll grow on me. Edit: i like this one too after fully listening to it
Desaturated definitely feels like a good way to describe it. Seeing them on the last tour it really felt like Danny only gave a shit about the new songs where he could do his best Ed Sheeran impressions and this definitely feels like an extension of that. Idk if it's him feeling more comfortable in that register after straining his voice for so long but the music is not trying to compensate for the lost heaviness at all. Desaturated, watered down, Asking Alexandria sounds an aweful lot like Dannys solo stuff.
@@anthonymanuel2911 absolutely. it's beginning to feel more and more like we are harlot, if you've ever heard them. they're danny's supergroup project. that and his country work I can definitely see giving influence which isn't inherently bad if it wasn't so watered down here, lol.
Mason Johnson Yeah but that’s because you’re talking about oldschool WWE when they actually had some good music that wasn’t necessarily mainstream 🤷🏻♂️ that’s why he said future WWE lol
My favorite song of theirs, I just love the whole album, it's my favorite by far and it means a lot to me, but this song I think encompasses that set of emotions that this album generates in me.
Honest, non biased review: Good track, questionable mixing in places. The heavy riffs could have gone on for longer. Really enjoyed the ending, like a calm after a storm, very unique, haven't seen it done before in this scene. Screaming vocals could have been stronger. Solid track, definitely the best out of all the singles so far.
As a fan for many years of AA, I don’t care for the heaviness if they don’t want to be heavy, I just want more with the band you feel, this chorus was the best thing I’ve heard from any of these singles.

Definitely my favourite single. This is catchy, maintains that heavy sound that they became popular with, whilst also implementing new sounds and styles to their music. An overall fun track. Bring on Friday! 👍
Jordan and Oli are just totally into what they're doing and you can tell by listening to amo. This just sounds, while not necessarily bad, like dumbed down rock-pop without soul. AA just isn't talented and versatile enough to pull this off.
