I love how the show has become more about the experience of travelling through Africa and interacting with the local culture than it has about the running! Obviously what Russ is achieving is arguably one of the greatest physical accomplishments to ever have been documented, but the experience as a whole is what I think makes this series so special
The format hasn't really changed that much though, if at all. I feel like it's just people's perspective on it that has changed. Some people kept complaining in the comments of the first videos that there wasn't enough of Russ running and too much of the "other guys" or logistics. I think people had certain expectations when you promote your series as "running through Africa", but as the format began to settle, the audience got attached to the crew and the true scope of the mission became more evident with time, those expectations changed to reflect what really makes this series special.
This has become my favorite show on RUclips. Everyone has a nice contribution. I hope you guys do other projects after this, doesn't even have to be running. Just your personalities are enough to make a good and fun show.
Let's get this guy to 1M so he has to run home 😅 honestly though if that DOES happen I think we as a fan base should allow the guys a month to chill in Tunis. A rest month. Either way I just don't want this ride to end, looking forward to this episode ❤

Some suggestions: Would be good to get some thoughts from the team and Russ on how they are finding things, how hard is it living out of a van, how often you guys have access to showers, toilets etc, how it compares to expectations, what's the plan (any more crew changes planned), how hard the running is compared to expected (chaffing, aches, lack of motivation), what the next mission will be, how long they think the record will stand for etc etc. I guess just some bigger pictures stuff rather than all day to day. Also maybe a selfie stick rather than just recording one person, then whoever is filming and asking questions can also be in the shot which I think would make it feel more natural. Bang bang x
