I only have 1 cc etf in my portfolio which is jepq. I won't change to these new etf's coming out because they are very similar. I won't even touch jepi cause jepq has a better total return with income. So that's that.
I'll be sticking with NEOS's SPYI for my taxable account, but These funds have lower expense ratio's, so I may add them to a retirement account at some point. Thanks for the info!
Although these etf's are very similar and one will/may out perform another, how would each be affected by Volatility? Which would be affected more? TIA.
Didn’t mention how they write their option. Out the money or at the money. If the write the option in the money or at the money, no wonder they have more money to distribute.
You have to remember that the Boomers (that's me) have lots of money and are retired. They are making a killing with these type of funds with the expense ratio.
Another great video!! Thanks!! Can you tell us easy way to calculate yield when a etc, fund, etc, does not state it.... KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!! Being in Panama must be distracting, but you keep pumping out video's!! ;-)
The yield changes every day because it depends on the current price. Plus, if the distribution amount is different every month/quarter, a reliable yield cannot be calculated. Nevertheless, the forward yield is calculated by multiplying the most recent distribution by 12 and dividing by the current price -- or more importantly the average price you bought the fund for. The trailing yield is the sum of the previous 12 monthly distributions divided by the price. In both calculations, shift the decimal point of the result by two places to the right and add a "%" to the end
I am so tempted to swap my QQQY for one of these funds. It feels like QQQY is depreciating at a similar rate to the distributions. I have been running a trial with 14,960 invested, 1894 in distributions and a 1395 loss in fund value. So the distributions are just barely ahead of the fund value dropping. Thoughts?
we can rotate through all 4 because the ex-div date are different, right ? is there a 30% tax for non-USA investors ? there are a couple of put writes etfs in canada, are they any good ? from BMO and another financial company
Buy all of them
Agreed 👍
Diversify across fund managers.
JEPI JEPQ GPIX GPIQ…large parts of my portfolio. Awesome video as always. Thank you!

I love neos etfs, but the upside capture on these is blowing them out of the water

So many great products
It seems similar to SPYI as well although I am not sure how SPYI has a 12% yield.
SPYI distributes ROC, that's probably why
Very good video Adrian ! Another big US financial shop getting into the party !
GPIX. Time for me to switch. I hold jepi/ jepq. I’ll have to decide
I switched because they own all the stocks in the index
Agree 👍
there's a lot of options now. SPYI and now IVVW..... its best to understand them chose the one that best fits your goals

Wow everyone is making CC etfs
Yes! It's a target-rich environment.

@@geralddery1060 yes definitely beats the whole SPY 4% withdrawal rule imo haha.
Pretty sure the downside will be more on those than JPM because of this weighting.
Do you know they raised the dividend every month not much but raised the dividend
Can you do more on Canadian thx
I would say that most of his videos are CAD funds.

multiply the latest monthly dividend by 12 to get the annual dividend. then divide that number by the share price
Is this true that income earned from a CD in Panama is not taxed in Panama?
foreign income is NOT taxed in Panama
No, I was under impression that your money are in Panamanian bank on CD. Is this income taxable in Panama?
BALI is a good one too
What is BALI?

I can only lead by example for qqqy . Best to do what’s comfortable for you
Is it distributions for only one months? If so, you made net 500$ or 3.3% for ONE month… x 12 and you’ll be onto 40% total return … not bad !!

Grazie, Adriano. Tu sei il uomo.
lol thanks man
ISPY is another competitor
Bro, even my Grandma´s wheelchair is outperforming JEPI after the bear market of 2022.
lol
Wish their Toroso was higher
Lots of people sleeping on these. They are absolutely destroying the competition and trailing the underlying index by a couple percent
yes they are killing it so far. i guess this just shows you the indexes always beat stock picking
Great video look at the growth compared to jepi and jepq. I own both and plan on adding more.
