@@stephenjohnson26 Hey Stephen. Thanks for answering. I especially like your ops because of heavy traffic of your steel industry. Good old days. It's pretty much the same on mine with paper mills. Keep on your good work.

I like your mill a LOT ! It takes and needs a lot of work when you get to that size. This is simply more like the real thing. We (modelers) all have to deal with space issues. But that doesn't mean that it's a good idea to put 3 or 4 industries when there's only room for one. It's sometimes incredible what can be done with a bit of creativity and skills. Congrats. I would certainly like to operate your layout. It's a very nice mix of everything seen around a mill. Little advise for you : Maybe lowering down bell sound a bit. It's my opinion. Atlas MP15dc and Quantum sound is most of the time too loud !!! Especially the bell.

Thank you and you are welcome to come for an Operating Session. I live in Frederick, Maryland so if you are ever in the DC or Baltimore area I am 45 minutes away. I agree with you on the bell and the level you hear is considerably turned down from what Tsunami decoders have as a standard volume. I believe it is the microphone on my iPhone that picks up higher pitches which causes it to sound really loud. Standing next to them the human ear doesn’t pick it up as much. I will experiment more.

@@stephenjohnson26 Many thanks for inviting me. I live a bit too far away (Quebec-Canada). But I really like the way you've putted all this together. Like the scenic, ballast job but mainly, the rear mill building. You're right about all you're saying in your video. It takes sometimes long to get thru an OP session. Things have to be done properly and at the right speed too. I like running my trains around delivering loaded and empties at my paper mill. It took me long to assemble a fleet of nicely weathered cars mostly bought on EBay. Some people just have it way better than me. I don't let anyone manipulating them. Engines included. Model railroading is the best hobby in the world ! Keep on your good work. I'm now a subscriber to your channel.
