I'm one week out of bootcamp, where we spent one week learning Ruby five weeks ago. I have a Ruby technical interview next week for a junior dev job.

This shit is the reason most great developers fail to get jobs they deserve. It's the non-technical equivalent of having a chef come in for an interview and draw a picture of their process for making an entree from how they prepare the meat to how they plate the food without ever stepping foot into a kitchen.
Nothing like passing up on the guy who created the tool 90% of your company uses simply because he couldn't work a whiteboard problem from memory.
    Jesus.

If you're looking to practice how to solve algorithm problems with Ruby, there's a good resource that'll show you to solve problems like these:
    - Compute nth fibonnaci number
    - Does this linked list have a cycle
    - Making change
    - Binary search tree checker
    - Find rotation point
    - The cake thief
    - Largest stack and more
You can find it here: www.interviewcake.com/ruby-interview-questions

So programming is just a form of logistics. A programmer's job is to achieve the most efficient transfer of information.

In India ,the rails developers interviewer may not know shit ,but they pretend (know it all) and reject good candidates. I have being interviewed by many such jackasses.

13:00 don't even act like you won't fire someone who doesn't fit in to the company in anyway. That's just disingenuous.
