It's a beautiful and fantastic travel video. The view from the top is the best scene. You two look so happy on your trip. I'm glad to be your best channel friend. Have a nice day. 👍👍👍🤙🤙👌
Your videos are amazing. We love Taiwan. We enjoy so much your videos. I am from Taiwan and my husband is from Spain. We live in London. Soon we will be moving to Taiwan. Thanks
You guys are gorgeous in introducing different tourist spots in Taipei. Explaining its background and culture made viewers understand better about these places. More importantly, those delicious street foods are definitely a must for any visitors.
Thank you so much for the thoughtful compliment! We try to learn something about each of places we travel to, it makes for a more memorable and meaningful experience 😊
Nice video to remind me how I miss Taiwan. The mountain you went and had the oolong tea is actually located inside the Taipei City still. Taipei City is a basin surrounded by mountains, so it’s easy to enjoy natural in this city.
Excellent choice, Taiwan is a wonderful place to live, (1990-1993 MTC student), and short 17-21 day trips with my family in 2010, 2014, and 2018. And I think it is Hot Spring Season! (in 2018 my wife and I visited in August, and the SUAO Cold Spring private Japanese style rooms were FANTASTIC in the 95F heat, after all morning on the motorcycle. Very cool on the Gondola ride/ did you get one with the glass floor on the way back? We did on one trip! even more amazing. That peanut brittle with the wood block planer is amazing stuff, but it was pretty rare when I was in Taiwan, (I only had it once down south) great experience to find that in Taipei. Taiwan does have some other great cities too, Ilan, Hualian, Kenting, Kaoshiung, Keelung, Tainan, and Taijung were mostly on our last trip around the Island, oh, and there there are many mountain areas, and classic river bed hot springs. -back around 30 years ago I also participated in Lifeguard training, Scuba Diving, and even a 1992 Formosa Hobie Challenge on 16' Hobie cat sailboats around 4 Taiwan locations. Enjoy your time there! (I even bungee jumped there with the Chinese American Professional in Taiwan (CAPT)
Taiwan definitely has a lot to offer! A cold spring sounds amazing for the intense summer heat! We are living and working in Kaohsiung, but I think Taipei is our favorite big city in Taiwan 💗
@@AlongWeGo Taiwan has a lot to offer, in Kaosiung you are closer to Kenting and the beaches there, but there are many things to check out and try out on your days off.
@@bradaltemeyer4472 you really know a lot about Taiwan. The taiwanese outer islands are also very special. Such as kinmen, mazu, penghu, green island and orchid island. Strongly recommend to you. And thank you for loving Taiwan so much.
Thx for the stimulating video! Well done. I have a q to ask: I have a visa for Taiwan which is now on hold (covid times) - do you know which from countries Taiwan is accepting visa holders (or from where they do when it has been periodically open during this last year 1/4)? I'm trying to get myself into a country to be in a position where they are likely to accept visa holders from that location as Canada is now like the US was a while ago and most countries prb will be denying entry from there
Thank a for watching! As far as I know, Taiwan is still not open to any tourists. You would have to either be a Taiwanese national or have a work permit or residency visa to enter the country at the moment. We obtained a work permit to come here by getting hired as English teachers.
Along we go, have you come across any good vending machines there? I hope to make connections in the "vending" world whenever I make it to Taiwan and help NA get through times like these in more innovative ways- Subway sandwich in a vending machine; Freshii falafel?- why not?!
isn't it chaotic to travel during chinese new year? accidentally booked a flight for january 2023 exactly on chinese new year...howbwas it? are restos closed? is it hard to get a cab? etc. thanks
It wasn’t too bad! We used the train and ordered uber to get around. Some restaurants were closed but we were still able to find places to eat. The night markets were also open. I think it was worth it to get to see the lion dancing!
@@AlongWeGo you are good. You did say “I think”. I was born in Taipei and still don’t know all the places in Taipei. lol Enjoin your time in Taiwan. Btw.. go check out Taroko park in Kaohsiung taiwaneverything.cc/2017/05/17/taroko-park/

Wow, Taipei city expands so far! The amazing train system makes it so easy to access nature in the city
Yes. The mountains are part of Taipei city. Which makes Taipei unique, you can be in the forest within 30 minutes of commute or less

Hi! We’re things open right after the new year??
Go to longshansi temple. Its in the southwest of city. I stayed in a hotel next to it and its pretty amazing.

Prefer called it Lunar New Year,
I thought Taiwan doesn’t allow tourists. How did you get in?
Hi! We're in Taiwan on residential visas sponsored by our jobs here.
@@AlongWeGo OIC. Thanks for the quick reply. I enjoy your videos. Really fun to watch.
10:55 you are wrong. That's not a town. that is taipei city. Do you think MRT can go to a town?
Thank you for the information! We weren’t sure whether that district was still in Taipei City or in New Taipei City

Why Chinese New Year? Lunar New Year applies to Taiwan better.
Good point! We put Chinese New Year simply because it’s a more common search term
