Arguably the most powerful scene of all time in my opinion the best part of the movie , I knew that I would have no trouble finding this ! My cousin flew for the RAF during the Falklands ,much respect to the heroes who saved England and the world from tyranny
The music in Dunkirk is so evocative and intriguing it is an absolute essential part of the movie, adding a whole new level to what is the telling of a true story and a miracle to those men who got Home. Lest we forget 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
An interesting song to listen to at the end of my university path...feels like bookends. How I've grown a lot and what seemed big then now seems small, I'm past this stage. Also a good time to mark my birthday. That's one chapter closed for good now, and I'm glad for it.
Mrs ex partner was a carer for a person who flew in the battle over Britain and was a kiwi. He had quite a history to tell. My Pop fought in many places but I was surprised to see he had a medal only given for fighting on UK soil. As well as France Italy and Africa. No nations citizens should have to war yet here we are, the gods took the queen and there's profits to be made from funding wars. This music makes me think about if they that fought, would think we are on the right path. Was it worth it.
This music, slowed down, is better than the original. (I mean Zimmer's film score, rather than Elgar). It also heralds the return home of Moonstone, the "little ship," skippered by Mr Dawson (Mark Rylance) out of Weymouth, as she reaches beautiful Dorset, passing the white cliffs of the Isle of Purbeck (mistaken by the weary servicemen aboard for Dover). Truly ethereal music 👍🎼⛵🇬🇧🇫🇷
That scene where Tom Hanks glides past the beach after running out of fuel epitomizes the lonliness it must have been like to fly a Spitfire during the war!!...absolute genius film scene!!
Shaving Ryan's Privates ? A classic film, in the true sense of the word classic. I can imagine Tom Hanks sense of loneliness in the Spitfire... I can relate to the loneliness of being married to a woman “ better to dwell in the wilderness , than with a contentious and angry woman’’ ( Proverbs 21:19) ✌🏾 such a true statement! Ah man it just makes me so joyful to know God knows exactly how His creation is. Sucks to be in that situation though.. God bless Hans ZimmerFrame

24:02 Can't explain or totally grasp the beauty of this sound.
thx
It's the sound of something bigger and more meaningful than yourself.
trust him. there is plenty of material more meaningful than you, like he said.@@disapproval6659
This slowed version is beautiful, so peaceful. thank you so much for sharing it!
yes
I actually agree with you
Dunkirk is truly one of the biggest war movie masterpiece ever made
Tearing up the sky like Wagner. Thank you for this massive sequence.
You do know it's Elgar, right...?
I find this more tense than peaceful, the stretched chords create this uneasy feeling. There is suspense in waiting for the melody to resolve itself.
I was expecting it to be a lot more peaceful than it actually was. Not even in Variation 15 can we totally escape the anxiety.

Thanks for making this version.
I could hear this everyday in stead of people that don't appreciate anything that's beautiful.. No passion in them
Like the missing movement from Gorecki's 3 Symphony. Yearning and ephemeral. Like a fading memory of your best love.
That's very good but like x10 too slow.
Maybe x5 would be better.
You had a great idea!! Very beautiful and relaxing. I love it
Fills me with such emotion and pride to be British. God save the Queen and all the British Armed Forces.

Sencillamente genial, una banda sonora digna de la pelicula de Nolan, un genio🌞🌞🌞
Thank you so much for this

thanks for the suggestion
Three commercials within 16 minutes. That sucks when you’re trying to relax.

You picked the wrong Tom. It was Tom Hardy :)
