- Searching $1500 in bills ($1 Bills) for Star Notes and Fancy or Cool Serial Numbers! I picked up $1,500 worth of federal reserve notes from local banks hoping to find more star notes and/or fancy serial numbers in these circulated stacks of bills.
I hope you enjoy this bit of bill hunting with me. I was super happy to find not only quite a few $1 star notes BUT a pretty low serial numbered bill as well.
Do you check your bills (money) for fancy or cool serial numbers? If so, what denominations do you hunt most? What is your best serial # score or your oldest bill found?

🔴Web notes are a type of United States currency named after the "web printing production" method of printing on continuous rolls of paper. Between 1992 and 1996, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing experimented to see if a web press that used continuous rolls of paper was quicker and cheaper than intaglio printing, which uses flat sheets. The notes produced were dollar bills from Series 1988A, Series 1993 and Series 1995. They are legal tender and are not considered error notes, although they are somewhat scarce and more valuable than bills produced by the sheet fed method.

Hey one of your bills with the low number is vary rare the serial number was L00009044 just wanted to let u know
Have you seen http:www.FancySerialNumber.com ?
The note that was 77297277 is a trinary if didn't notice
as well as the 9019909
Also don't forget the 22123122
And that 33443363
Rob i had my dream bill
Found my first star note ever today in my change jar. It’s a $1 star note, part of a 3,200,000 run, 12,880,000 in total. Less rare but my first star note ever!! Thanks for the inspiration Rob!
Awesome Video!!!!! Cool finds!!😃😃😃😃
3:24 that 4th note if flipped upside down is the same as right side up.
He didn’t flip it
Good hunt. So many close calls. Good amount of star notes.
Very nice as always Rob. Every day I learn some thing new and that ain't a bad thing.
Nice video Rob... I found some cool ones the other day. Bought 300 worth. Found 33446688 a Binary and 640k star note... I'm trying to find a error or misprint. Keep hunting lol
Great video. Nice finds. Love those Birthday Notes. You have a wonderful evening and as always, Enjoy. CI
Found 9 star notes on the higher scale on all three consecutive been hooked since
The b series from 2013 have two runs from Washington DC and fort worth that have matching serial numbers. They are worth a fortune if you can pair them. I have five of them from fort worth. So if any of you have some from the DC run let's compare numbers and see if we can't make some money. The note from strap 13 is one of them.
I never knew anything about star notes or anything like that but just checked my wallet and had a $1 star! Not rare or anything but still cool and something to look out for.
I have one radar note that I have found, but A LOT of close calls that makes your heart beat a little faster lol
Thanks for taking time to explain what to look for; I really appreciate it!
Your videos are very helpful and informative .
I just got 3 straps today and found TWO 1963 series back to back serial numbers in one strap. I couldn’t believe it!
That's a nice find - getting older bills in straps is very difficult.
What 1963 series? Could they have been the 1965-69 issue Series 1963A? or the very short lived "Barr" notes that have the 1963B designation. More specific info appreciated.
Eyehate Phukingoogel just 1963A. Nothing crazy just nice to see some older bills in nice condition still in circulation.
Now that was a star spangled bill hunt LOL I enjoyed it love that low low serial numbered note.....sweet.
watching this i was thinking this would be a costly hobby to search bills but thinking about it even if you spend 1500$ on bills and only find like 5 keepers you still have 1495$ you can throw back into your bank so each keep only cost you a dollar lol. i guess it could be costly if you want rare ones and you go out of your way to buy them vs search for them yourself
Wow great amount of star notes and cool birthday notes
Congrats! I found a star note 2 days ago. It's a common one but it's only my second ever.
I use to work in a vault handling cash and I remember my first week I couldn't get the smell of cash out of my nose, and I got REALLY sick. Lol
My clothes smelled like cash too
I know an April 21st, but from the 90s. Nice finds Rob.
Wouldnt the 80369308 be a special type of radar--maybe like a 180 degree radar? to me that would be pretty unique!
That be a lot of Star Note's 19 has to be a good record. Great Video. Cheers from Canada!
Nick Molnar what is a star note worth $1 more or something ?
Hey Rob!! Thanks again for being so informative. Love watching all your videos and am about to search my first few bands of $1 bills.
My b-day is 4-21-76. Wicked awesome
Kind of gotten bored of hunting bills myself, my bank doesn’t get very good bills and I average about 1 Star note every 4 $100 stacks. Don’t really have the money to go through all those stacks at the same time as well lol. Although still like watching you go through em.
Same here. It's actually better to just always ask for a few new straps and pray for a banger strap. Then deposit and repeat at another bank! I once traded from 20's to 10's to 5's to 2's to 1's. LOL
RobFindsTreasure lol, info noted. Ty
Great video as always my man it was informative and that's a lot of star notes in my opinion but lady luck was on your side for sure!
I had a few good finds recently. A $5 radar 71399317. 2013 star L00022023 from an 80,000 print run. 2006 binary radar 04000040.
Good video Rob I got 2 five dollars bills red seal star note 1953...
Hey Rob! I found a 2013 1$ bill star note, D Series, and the serial number is 00592284! It’s centered fairly well, I wonder if it’s worth anything! Thanks for your videos!
My dream bill find is a gold certificate bank note. No matter what denomination, but it should be old but gold.
Fun strap search Rob. I need to start doing more of these myself. Thanks for sharing.
Midwest Coin Hunter you bet brother - would love to see it!
Question. Is a bill is exactally one number off from a radar. Binary. Bookends. valuable persay in crisp condition. The number i hav is 1199.9912 It lookd cool i thought
This guy is awesome!
You can’t get mad at that!
Hey Rob back in 2001 I was in Washington DC toured the BEP. I picked up a 10 note sheet of $10 Star notes 1995 series. According to my currency collection website they are pretty rare. Are these more valuable because their uncut? Also have the original tube they came in
I not sure but I want to buy them since they different 🤗
I got a strap of new ones and had 6 consecutive numbers ⭐ notes in back.
Are the worth anything?
Always love watching you do these hunts. Keep on looking boss man!
ROB, what does it mean when you notice that green Seal & the Numbers are Printed in RED INK ??? Is that a Silver Certificate ???. THANK YOU !!!
Would you keep a 1939 birthday note or is that too old as well? I had one on a $100 bill
Always enjoy your videos no matter the finds :)
What’s the history behind star notes. Why are they more valuable
Have you ever seen on $20 bill 2017 with a gray star on it like on a $50 bill it's on right side under the serial number
thanks for sharing the links in the description, very helpful!
Hi I am new to your channel and just wanted to say I really enjoy your videos. Also, I just wanted to ask is there a website where I can find out how much my federal note is worth? I went to mycurrencycollection website and found out that my note has a fancy serial number and the rating is considered very cool, so where do I go next?
For you to find that many star notes is almost unbelievable
I love your vids!!!!!!!❤ have a great rest of your day!😁😁😁
It certainly was my lucky day, epic nickel box. Love the bill hunts.
Was that B0665etc a 2013? If so, that's one of those duplicate bills, I sell em for about $50 a pop on ebay. People are collecting those big time.
I love bill hunts!
One of the almost radar bills was a trinary!
Hey Rib can you tell me if,2019& 1997on the same bill mean anything I thought it was awesome because if you cover the 20. You see 1997
Got a 5.00 binary note with number 66111111. How do i determine value?
Awesome video!!! I really enjoyed it!!
Also on a 20 bill I have on serial numbers it starts with 1936. Does it mean anything
Tomorrow I get my first boxes of halves to search. Up till now it’s been all nickels and pennies. Fingers crossed for some silver. (I’ve found 6 war nickels in 6 boxes of nickels so silver seems to like me)
So many star notes! ⭐️
Don't forget to check the 95's for the FW 295 error.I used to find them a lot more often than I found webs.
OH MY! I had forgotten all about the back plate errors! Thank you for the reminder!
How do I find out how much the star notes worth?
I have a dollar that starts 55555... last 3 digits just random numbers, worth keeping?
Yes
Great video rob keep up the good work and happy hunting
What is the significance of star notes?
What makes them special?
The star indicates that a bill with the same number was somehow misprinted at the mint (ink smeared, offcenter, not enough ink, cut wrong, or whatever) so they scrap those misprinted bills but re-use the serial numbers and indicate that with a star.
@@Project2013B Thank you.
Are quad pairs worth any money? I feel like i've gotten one before but I sent it back because I didn't realize they were collectible, if they are
I've found 3 $100.00 star notes. What do you recommend I do with them.
Cool bill search my friend.
Thx for the info on searching $1.00 bills.
I have a star not of dollar bill when I look it up it comes back that it doesn't exist why's that
May be you didn't enter the series correctly. It may have a letter under the year date. If no letter make sure the online tool doesn't auto fill an A for example. Like 2017A instead of 2017.
Stripper money. LOL Thanks for another fun video. :)
Thanks for all the useful information Rob.
I really enjoy watching all your great videos.
You have taught me a lot through your videos.
Keep up the great work and I am getting a package together to send your way soon
Thanks again
AcRellik
Thanks for video. I have a $20 bill cool numbers 31033103 , where do I take this to check value?
I need honest opinion , is coin or bill collecting more of a hobby or something to make money? Finding it very difficult to sell anything and find buyers for what I have. Any suggestions who to turn to?
I was hoping youd make another bill video earlier while watching your metal detecting video.
i found 2 $1 bills with serial numbers in progression. does that count
Wow, awesome birthday notes!
YCH- Young Coin Hunter Its unreal that he got 2 modern birthday notes at the same place. I think someone traded in their collection for a couple of monster energy drinks
Hey rob a while back I got a 2013 2 dollar bill star note and for some reason the Star note searcher can’t find it
9 times out of 10 you loaded the wrong serial number or year. Did you DOUBLE Check?
Awesome video I enjoyed!!!!
1 dollar notes are always nice to search
Rob!!! You should do a collection room tour!
That one bill 00009044 looks like it has a little extra ink on the third zero
Nice
Very nice thank you
I also have a $2 Silver Certificate with 11666622A serial number. Value?
Are any of them worth above face value?
I have a $100 dollar bill with a Star serial number. What's it worth?
Throwing a 1995 back? At what point do they become more valuable than face? (Barring star notes, fancy serials, etc)
I know this is an old video, but you had a birthday note from 1908 and you put it back because the person couldn't be alive. Doesn't anyone buy them for the memory of a parent, grandparent etc. ??
Have a GREAT Day.
I’ve got a 100 dollar bill with serial 40666666... is it worth anything? I mean other than the 100 dollars.
Where do I sell those star notes , I have bout 15 notes
You did this on my birth day
How much are these actually qorth?
I found a 20 with the serial number 77007700. Is that worth anything or just a sweet find?
I went to the bank and ask them for a two dollar bills and they gave me a brand new bills 100 dollar total and all of them have a star note on it how much do you think it would worth if I sell them they are also in series
I would auction it on ebay. Start off at $100. Set to free shipping. Set a reserve that will pay for A+ shipping when it sells. Require signature and insure it. Make auction as long as they will let you set it.
Could be exciting.
Thanks
My birthday is april 29th man nice!😱
How much would you pay for your birthday note?
I found a 20 with a serial number of 00000070!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How much do you think it is worth?
