I discovered something randomly while trying your comment with x1.5. I tried with the SMB music with x1.5 and it gives the music when you have less than 100 mario seconds.
You should probably just add (Almost) all to the title. Otherwise, every attention seeking know-it-all is going to point out what you [allegedly] missed rather than appreciating the incredible work you’ve done. Thanks for putting this together!!
These are all recreations in mainline Mario games (unless you count the short intro jingle of the Ground Theme as a recreation). The video creator just confused some people by including games that are generally not considered "mainline." It's also not difficult to compile. You can find (almost) all recreations of this theme on the Mario Wiki.
@Ariesonico22 Not by the standards of most Mario fans, but the creator of this video stated that they didn't cover spinoff Mario games. It's still just platformers, no other genres like RPGs or other franchises "under the Mario umbrella" like DK, Wario or Yoshi.
does the SML sky pop and ending theme really count as a recreation tho? Due to the developement context I don’t think they wanted to reference it Edit: Classic Mario Bros’s title theme doesn’t count since they wanted to remake Mario Bros’s theme, not Super Mario Bros’s
Sky Pop is based on the last bar of the SMB ground theme. The ending theme is clearly based on the SMB ground theme, there is no doubt about it. To make it more clear, the Roshambo victory theme from Paper Mario: Color Splash uses a similar structure, with a higher tendency toward SMB. For further proof, all themes mentioned are listed in the Mario Wiki as "arrangements of the SMB ground theme".
rainbow run is from 3Dworld not land i'm pretty sure, and also as a side note i'm pretty sure the first level of most of the paper mario themes have a musical motif to 1-1, color splash, TTYD and super do this i know for sure
Yes, it is true that all Paper Mario games feature the SMB Ground Theme (with Thousand-Year Door having the most arrangements and The Origami King only having one pretty subtle jingle), and most use the theme for the game's first area/level (you forgot about Blue Skies, White Clouds from Sticker Star). However, this video only covers mainline games.
@@LunarCrescent Well yeah, but this video doesn't even remotely cover all recreations of the theme in the Mario franchise, since the creator wanted to avoid including spinoffs. Also, Brawl had two SMB Ground remixes with the second one being one of the only remixes left out of Ultimate (for good reason imo).
@@NCozy Fans generally don't but Wikipedia, the Mario Wiki and Nintendo all seem to agree that it's mainline. It's definitely up to debate and there is no right or wrong answer.
Which game do you think had the best music?
Super Mario land
Galaxy, no contest.
From this collection, either land or wonder
Odyssey that’s the goat Mario game and the OG one
Mario 64 man
12:55 is definitley the most traumatising for some

During the SMB Special part, if you increase the speed by 1.45x, you get the original

and i still relate that song with them lol
It was used for multiple promotional material for Mario in general.

If he included spin-offs, this video would've been about as long as PJiggles' recent Smash remix ranking.
