I’ve noticed the same thing with riding off road (mostly what I use the bike for) couldn’t rip the trails how I wanted in 2nd unless I was really moving. But it was too high in 1st. Gonna change my front sprocket, and get the fmf power core slip on exhaust. Have you noticed any serious negative effects in the higher gears due to the 13T front sprocket?
I had the same problem with stock gears! With a 13t 2nd gear is perfect for trails. I can still cruise highway speeds too so its perfect. No negative effects so far, just makes it how it should have been from the factory!
I actually did not. They all work with the risers. Not much wiggle room after though. So if I had taller bars and the risers I think I would have to get lol get cables.
Oh yah for sure. It loves to cruise at 60-65. It will do about 75 (80 something according to the spedo) but I personally wouldn't want to keep it sustained for a long time like that. Most the highways around here are 60mph but if I go on freeway I will just be OK going 5 to 10 under the speed limit. Its worth it to me
@@adventurepastor8195 thanks so much for the info! I really enjoy your channel, it's one of the reasons i went with the crf250l. I've had my 2019 for about 6 months now. I ride about 50/50 on and offroad. Mostly FS roads and, i try to avoid freeways on bikes even if they can kerp up lol.Next time you come out to Camas/Washougal shoot me a message. I live right off washougal river rd. Take care and ride safe
@@hatetheplair hey thanks so much! I really appreciate the encouragement. I have been doing lots of off road rides and mods in the last 2 weeks. Have about 6 videos to edit haha. I love that road it's so beautiful out there. May be out there in a couple week!
Cool ads,..it depend on your type of riding,so we setup with that..with tide budget, my bike have the guards, radiator, skid, handbar.. Red, white Soft cover seat with Honda emblem..Rear rack, forget to add rizer, Next time hope do.. Ride safe, keep distance
It bothers me greatly when I see all these mods and you still have the stock wale tail. Clip that thing already already! I'll send you a link to the yoshimura I did. Haha
Haha I know what you mean! I love the look of the tail tidey BUT I have 1st priorities such as a rack and rotopax plus I use it on the road a lot too and the whale tale helps greatly reduce the spray of the back tire in the rain so my back and gear don't get soaked. But its uglier than anything I do agree!
Pronunciation : acerbis = A chair bees
Hi Pastor. Do you have the ABS model? Do you know, can you change the brake line for steel line? Cool bike Bro.
Thanks! I do not have the abs model. I haven't looked into changing break lines I just have the oem ones
@@adventurepastor8195 thanks for quick response. And I wish you a lot of safe miles 😉💪
Nice bike👍 How many ants and spiders did you get in your helmet??
How does the seat cover work for you? And what’s the name of it and where did you get it?
I like it, makes long trips more bearable. It's a Colman Maddog atv seat cover that i fastened on with parachord

Adventure Pastor awesome thanks brotha! Sprocket is on the way
what are snow levels like out your way right now?
They are fairly high. About 4000 feet in the forest
With the bar risers did you have to get longer brake/throttle cables?
I actually did not. They all work with the risers. Not much wiggle room after though. So if I had taller bars and the risers I think I would have to get lol get cables.
Where did you purchase your seat cover?
At Walmart, its a MadDog atv seat cover got it for about $20
Are you still able to ride the highway with the 13 tooth?
