You wouldn't believe how elusive this info (setting a trailing-stop AFTER opening a trade on MEXC) is to find on YT. Bybit's UI was much more intuitive. Even still, I should've figured it out myself (DUH). Better late than never though. Thank you!
Glad I was able to help 😆
Ditto
DOUBLE DITTO
=)
Dose the % include leverage
Thanks bro, other platforms are way more intuitive for this matter but this help me out
Can somebody please explain me why will not trigger trailing stop loss sometimes? I try it for the first time yesterday and it didn't want to trigger.I got email from Mexc that stop loss was triggered but when I logged in on Mexc i found my position 100% opened?Fortunately i was up 12 % but i dont understand what happened?Did i do something wrong? How is that when you manually press Close Market he immediately close trade without hesitation and with stop loss he hesitates and often wont close?I read about it and a lot people experienced these problems.
A Trail variance of 3% is 3% of what number? The cost of Bitcoin OR the amount of your own money you have in the trade OR the amount of your own money you have in the trade and including any leverage? Maybe it's all the same thing when it's a percentage but it becomes critical to know the answer to this when it's the actual price being chosen instead of the ratio such as 3%
thanks for eating those losses for the sake of the lesson
That was great, I had a problem with trailing stop, thank you so much for your useful and practical video 👌👍❤💯
You're most welcome. Glad you found it helpful!
Can the trailing stop loss available on Mexc be set up so that it is visible on the chart, as it is on Kraken Futures?
Is the trailing stop loss displayed on the chart so its movement in relation to the price can be seen in real-time?
Can we set a sl and trailing sl at the same Time?(trailing sl with activation price)
Great thorough explanation, love your set up too! :)
So I'm missing something. I've had a position for awhile with no stop loss or trailing stop loss set. I don't see an open/close order panel on the right like he shows. I just have a a green buy and red sell button on the lower center screen. If I click sell, all I see are TP and SL, which are specific prices where an action will take place. I don't see where I can set an actual trailing stop loss after I've been in a position for awhile. Do I have to transfer from the spot account to the futures account in order to do this?
yes you have to!
Can u do this in the app?
Thanks for the much needed video! 💯
You're most welcome!
Thanks for this. Keep up the amazing work. Easiest tutor to follow when it comes to exchanges on youtube by a mile. Thanks again
can you use a activation price with a trailing stop loss and an additional stop loss the opposite direction
