She passed away in a month, she had cancer and the surgery made it worse because she bled out a lot and she couldn’t physically handle it. She was always healthy, she always smiled, was around and close with a lot of people, she was like a sun. And she was like my second mom. She took care of me too. And she always took me and her best friend out and we had so much fun and laughed and did fun things together, i knew her for years. She was so healthy, and all of a sudden it all happened in one single month , and she was gone. So much changed, my best friend seems to get over it quickly, and looks okay, but she is really upset and she really misses her and I do too. It feels unreal to know i can’t just text or talk to her anymore and that she just isn’t there. It’s strange. I’ll never understand. Everyone misses her , and if anyone told me that she passed away a few months back i would look at them in shock and laugh because she was the best woman ever and took care and cared for everyone. She was THE light. We all miss her very much, and i hope she is okay now and no longer is in pain. We really miss her and i just can’t process it because it’s unreal.

"The moment of truth in your lies" sounds like someone falling out and breaking up from someone, though I'm sure people might have heard it as "From the moment of truth in your eyes" which sounds pretty romantic. It's almost deliberately contextual based. From what I see, most people think it's about finding the one person who accepts you even for all your quirks. I can see this song also being about regretting being complacent with casual one night stand type relationships when you really want to have a dedicated substantive relationship. Regardless, this was written for a cheesy romance movie and I think John Rzeznik simply wrote this tongue in cheek just to fuck with people lmao.

So relatable, in this life I choose to fight in silence with my depression(clinical), because not all people would understand. It's really hard but it's okay. The loneliness I often felt just means I should turn it into solitude that I can embrace wholeheartedly. I have many best friends and friends but I don't always talk about my struggle and depression. If I want to life, I should fight for it. If it's tiring to keep surviving and not living, I just remember all the dreams I want to achieve and I should love myself more.

This song reminds me of my best friend’s mom, who passed away this year. Her name is Iris.
I feel like this song is everything. She passed away in a month, she had cancer and the surgery made it worse because she bled out a lot and she couldn’t physically handle it. She was always healthy, she always smiled, was around and close with a lot of people, she was like a sun. And she was like my second mom. She took care of me too. And she always took me and her best friend out and we had so much fun and laughed and did fun things together, i knew her for years. She was so healthy, and all of a sudden it all happened in one single month , and she was gone. So much changed, my best friend seems to get over it quickly, and looks okay, but she is really upset and she really misses her and I do too. It feels unreal to know i can’t just text or talk to her anymore and that she just isn’t there. It’s strange. I’ll never understand. Everyone misses her , and if anyone told me that she passed away a few months back i would look at them in shock and laugh because she was the best woman ever and took care and cared for everyone. She was THE light. We all miss her very much, and i hope she is okay now and no longer is in pain. We really miss her and i just can’t process it because it’s unreal.
