What size rotary is that? Where did you get it? How is this it connected? I am a jeweler. I need something like that for milling modeling wax. Awesome work!
Thank you. The rotary is 2 inch (50 mm). It came with the machine. I got the 4 axis version. It connects to the included control box via 4 prong cable just as the other motors.
if some one want to make the post processor fit his machine configuration(the 4&5 axis center or pivot point ) , he do not need to modify the programming code of the machine , is this right? he can determine these parameters by positioning the spindle or probe in some position , is this right?
Hi Charlie, I'm looking at getting this model but the resellers are only saying the motor can be switched on and off at the control box. It appears from your code you are using M3 and M5 to switch off from the program - can you toggle it on and off from the code or not please?
As my machine came stock, I could only switch the spindle from the control box. I did do a little modification to the box so I can control the spindle through code. That video is linked here... ruclips.net/video/OeBqSI8oevA/видео.html

Rigid enough for about .003in (.076mm) deep engraving in steel, but probably not much more. That is as far as I'm willing to push it and do not need more than that anyways. I bought this machine from eBay for around $500 USD about 3 years ago.

probably best to contact you via e-mail since this is a little complicated but here goes? i have a 4th axis that i built because i need a hollow shaft to pass rod through and because i have a ton of stuff to make things with. i am trying to drill, thread and cross drill some 1/4" brass rod to make thousands of part. i can not figure out how to coordinate 4th axis rotation with the X axis movement so that i can control feed speeds of each independently. i generally write my own g-code or use perl scripts i write to automate and modify it. also use various utilities and wizards. just don't know how to set the A axis spinning at a specified rate while i move the drill and tap into the turning rod.
Absolutely! As long as your machine can handle it. My particular machine is built to handle lighter materials such as wood and plastics for machining, but can handle aluminum and steel for engraving.

Go for it. What ya got?
probably best to contact you via e-mail since this is a little complicated but here goes? i have a 4th axis that i built because i need a hollow shaft to pass rod through and because i have a ton of stuff to make things with. i am trying to drill, thread and cross drill some 1/4" brass rod to make thousands of part. i can not figure out how to coordinate 4th axis rotation with the X axis movement so that i can control feed speeds of each independently. i generally write my own g-code or use perl scripts i write to automate and modify it. also use various utilities and wizards. just don't know how to set the A axis spinning at a specified rate while i move the drill and tap into the turning rod.
Can it be used for 3D part making on metal?
Absolutely! As long as your machine can handle it. My particular machine is built to handle lighter materials such as wood and plastics for machining, but can handle aluminum and steel for engraving.
very nice machine .. were can I buy such machine please
+alzeeraworks Link in description to one at Amazon or you can probably find it on eBay.
if machine to system communiction not working which type we need to connect
what is the max diameter for cylinder objets of 4th axis for your cnc? :D
jonathan Johns wath Pariz this mashion
رائع جدا. very nice I love your work
Thank you.
how have you setup motor tuning for 4th axis?
FoxyBingo I show how I did this in the configuration video posted before this one. it should help you out.
Nice Machine, where can I get one?
Hope mine off of eBay. Amazon has them as well.
I am not sure if there is something in the setup program I need to setup. I set up the stepper rates and velocity
John Thompson OK, are you able to MDI the rotary using something like G1 A320 ? If not... did you already see my last video on rotary configuration? It might help you out. If your rotary is working, then I'd like to take a look at the first 15 or so lines of your program. Just trying to get a feel for what's going on. sunny5rise yahoo com.
John, did ya get it figured out?
Looking at your program, John. It does have some issues, but we'll straighten it out. What material are you cutting with this program? Wood? Steel? Plastic?
Ok, sent ya the edited program. Let me know how it goes.
where can i buy such a small 4 axle?
I'm not sure. Mine came with the machine.
@@sunny5rising and what manufacturer is it?
The Machine is a Vevor 4 axis. 3020T-D is the model of the machine. The rotary axis itself doesn't have any part numbers on it that I can see.
@@sunny5rising Thank you
great video, now I want a 4th axis :-)
Awesome! Go for it!
how you know tool is exactly half on that point. you can use round bars both. zero axis when measure fist side. then measure other side. then divide that. that will exactly middle point. no need know anything bout diameters. works on z too. just need have flat edge to measure top and bottom. still not need know any measure just half distance
Yes, there is certainly more than one way of finding a center point.
Dear sir
How can i convert 360 degree of Y rotary axis into 200 mm length
Do you mean... How many degrees of rotation would it take to move a given diameter 200mm?
Charlie Sarsfield
I mean
My Y axis complete its one revolution in 200 mm in case whatever my workpiece diameter
Tha rotary axis one revolution travel 200 mm
I have to drawn same design which is 200 mm length on tha more than 40 workpiece which have deferent deferent diameter
Do you have the rotary connected to the Y axis DRO or the 4th axis DRO?
Degree to move = (200mm * 180)/(radius * π)
very good
Thanks
Great video! Wow!!
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
well demonstrated.
Thank you
Amazing!
Glad you enjoyed it.
Muito bom video, obrigado
You're welcome.
영상 잘보고 갑니다!🤩
