I looked it up... "In navigation, a rhumb line, rhumb , or loxodrome is an arc crossing all meridians of longitude at the same angle, that is, a path with constant bearing as measured relative to true north." Of course, it all makes sense now.
You ever messed with Tim Miller's (or Chuck Wayne's, or Ben Monder's...) 2-1-2 arpeggios? I tend to feel like this sort of "pitch collection" harmony is well suited to that type of shape-driven stuff. Really dig your breakdowns!
Thank you.
Hiya! Haven’t seen you around these parts for a while.

Haha that’s what I thought
B over C is rootless 13b9
Phrygian chord - Blues scale from the 5th, or just a Coltrane pentatonic...
Grettings from Brazil!
That steps ahead record is a great one ...

Thanks! I’ve looked at the Ben Monder ‘here is ten years of your life’ document, but haven’t practiced the arpeggio stuff much.
What's confusing to me is the way they're labelled...."B over G" sounds like a B note in the bass over a G chord and not the other way round.
Oh yeah the dyslexia kicks in big time for me haha
yeah, we are so much cooler than them ;)
Whoever they might be, I assure you that we are
We F#7#9#5/D'ing are!
