After throwing up and pulling her head back into the truck, that's the ghost of Juno sitting next to her, which many believe to be a reference to a PTSD hallucination. This was an edited ending that was changed for UK audiences. In the original ending, after she sees Juno in the truck, the screen goes black, and then she awakens back in the cave. Then there's a brief hallucination of Sarah's daughter with a birthday cake in the cave with her. Then the hallucination fades away as growling and roars from the creatures becomes louder and louder, then the screen goes black and the credits roll. Great reaction! Poor Asia!.
That ending is the one I saw first.
Better ending for sure.
That's the version I saw.
The one where she’s left in the cave is the much better ending. I hate how it’s cut out of this version.
I actually preferred this ending. Maybe I'm a little morbid but I preferred bad endings to good endings especially in horror movies
fun fact, the actresses had no idea what the "crawlers" looked like before the movie started filming, so their initial reaction is genuine lol
I heard the same thing is true for jeepers creepers 😈, all due respect to the actors 😅😂
Nice. I don't think it's possible to pack as much fun in a fact.
Like she saw the CGI on set?
@@80Jay71 stop it 😂
Cool. They did the same thing in IT❤
“Like a bald headed gargoyle” will keep me cackling all day 😂
23:33 First time seeing BJ get simultaneously scared with Asia 😂
'Whats happening'
"I don't know but juno needs to be in front"
"you can have Sara, holly, whoever that is"
Asia is literally me during this movie 😂😂
So you're the same person? 'Cause that's what literally means.
I screamed like the Dickens
@@Saranda4787 Yes, they are the same person. Smile, why don't you? JEEZ-
"Please don't let nothin' be in the car" - I was dying when Asia said that. 🤣
I saw this film years ago and I was completely enthralled with it. It just came out of nowhere. It’s an extremely underrated movie.
BJ is always “are you still watching??? Babe, watch!” 😂
32:29 Asia's face when she dips in the pool of blood had me rolling 🤣😭
Also, early on in the movie...Juno tells Beth that we all lost something in that crash, when they first found out they were in the wrong cave. Meaning she lost her secret relationship with Sarah's husband. If you can remember.
"Juno was a side piece." 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
This movie is massively underrated! Absolutely great movie!
“Oh she done turned into tomb raider all of a sudden”
Y’all got me rolling with this one
This film and last year's Fall are both examples of why, when you do anything remotely dangerous, someone needs to know where you are going and when you expect to be back so if something happens, they can come rescue you.
That's the thing: people would be looking in the wrong place, because Juno took them to a different cave than the one they thought they were visiting.
But yes, whether it's 'merely' camping or going caving or rock-climbing or anything else, let someone know.
As someone who watches Horror 87% of the time, this movie freaked me out. God Bless Y'all! ❤😂
I'm a Horror junkie, this one is a favorite of mine which is saying something because I'm awful picky
This movie is incredible because it's already SO scary when it's just about a caving trip gone wrong, and then.... 😱
You're one of the only reactors I've seen that figured out that Juno was sleeping with Sarah's husband. It's easy to miss because Beth barely whispers to her "It's from Paul..." and we only hear the "Love Each Day" in a brief comment early on. Props to how well you all catch onto things.
If you're good at reading signals and body language, you get that right from the opening scene when Juno and Paul look at each other "that way".
Almost everyone sees that in the first few mins of the movie. I was surprised they didn’t get it earlier before the accident.
I immediately knew. The way she looked at him like that and I was…jealous! The women who plays Juno is stunning beyond belief.
They’re really good at catching stuff ! You are so right ! Watching sixth sense with them , was perfect because them falling for the same stuff I did , the same lightbulb coming on , you can see how artfully done it is . They need to watch the one with Nicole Kidman . Can’t remember the name , but it’d be perfect for them
@@dawnyoung8 The Others?? Loved that one!
Yall are so good at picking movies at the right time.
Oh poor Asia is gonna be fighting for her life with this one
YEP!!!!! 😫😫
Been waiting for this lol
Isn’t she just wonderful to see watch scary movies? That laughter she has is EVERYTHING! And BJ when he gets scared is gold! ❤❤❤😂😂😂
A lot of jumpscares in horror movies don't always affect me but when I first watched this movie, I was filled with tension, stress & terror thru the whole movie. Even as gruesome as some of the scenes were, you just couldn't stop watching cuz u wanted them all to escape.
These jump scares served a purpose. Far too many movies have them because there's no suspense or other tension.
"Juno is a side piece "🤣🤣🤣
Ive never seen Asia this quiet lolol, she was really shook after that first big jump scare.
The film ends on a bittersweet note, as Sarah is alive and free, but irreversibly shaken. However, in the UK ending, after Sarah has the vision of Juno in the car, the screen cuts to black momentarily. Then, Sarah is revealed to still be underground, in a confined section of the cave system with no escape routes
Props for your bravery sticking through this whole horrifying movie! it’s so dang terrifying, on top of being firstly tragic, then claustrophobic. Excellent reaction as always! Much love to you two 😊
I'm terrified of dark and enclosed spaces. This movie was EXCELLENT!!!! I was just like Asia through the entire movie....hiding under my blanket!
@@samanthasays3603 Same here!
Asia is really smart. Almost no reactors on youtube pick up on the fact that Juno was cheating with Sarah's husband. I'm not sure if I fully grasped it the first time I saw this movie. That said, IMO Juno is one of the great characters in modern horror. She was, in her own weird way, trying to make things right, and she was a real badass.
Hella agree, she deserved to go down the way she did, but still one of my favorite horror characters
How can no one pick up on that? It's obvious from the first 5 mins of the movie. I swear so many reactors on RUclips are idiots. Asia has a brain thank God
Yeah, except they apparently don't know what nightvision on a camera is 😂 "look, they glow in the dark!"
Your reaction to the ending was the most satisfying thing to watch! Asia ripping those headphones off sent me rolling. Y'all are the best.
BJ, please give Asia a big, big hug from all of us! :)
As always, loved your reaction! Asia, I felt for you all the way through! Lots of love to both of you from Canada! :)
The British ending version is better. It was Juno who popped up in the car when Sarah escaped, but the British version then shows Sarah was just hallucinating her escape and she’s still stuck in the cave with the Crawlers all around her. She also hallucinates her daughter sitting with her
That's the one I saw
How is that better?
@@mrnicktoyou because it gives a bit more of a closed ending and an explanation as to why she suddenly saw a ghost in the car
It's typical for Hollywood to want a happy ending. It oftentimes ruins good films.
Yes.@@clarencewalker3925
23:35. That was the reaction I was waiting for. 😂
Bj was just struggling throughout with all the gashes, broken bones and blood. The faces he was making were priceless 😂.
Asia: "uh uh...you can have Sarah, Holly, whoever that is" 😂
I think this movie made asia jump so much because it is one of those few movies that does jumpscares well. They give you an impression of what to expect with tons of jumps in the beginning, then they actually slow down as the stakes start to get more and more dire. Then they hit you with the all time jumps care at the end.
"Juno's a side-piece" 😒 lmao Asia being on point😂😂 oh mahn, love you gurl. Great reaction fam! Keep 'em comin!
LOL!!! The look on Asia's face when she said, Juno's a side piece.
The Scottish actress who plays Sara, I've seen in a British werewolf film, called HOWL, set on a late night train. Good movie, worth watching!! Lots of well know British actors in it.
When Asia jumped, I jumped...have my headphones on and when Asia, screamed, I went temporarily deaf😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 GREAT REACTION.
Now I warn you; if you look at this; you must watch part 2 and dont foget about Halloween 2 and Jeepers Keepers 2😁
I believe that's Juno in the truck! Sarah's in a PTSD state of shock, paranoia and, hallucinating!
Poor girl. She ain't gunna' be right, for a long, long time.
The husband was the one driving the car and not looking, remember that the steering wheel is on the other side.
There is a book called "The Descent" published in the 90's, written by Jeff Long, and if you thought this movie was off the chain, that book is way, way past that. It involves caves, creatures and the military--no more hints! You have to read the book, and it's a much better story, imho. Ya'll's reaction to this is funny, but I feel kind of bad for Asia, too many jump-scares. Love you guys!
Thanks for the recommendation! Added it to my e-reader :)
Yall HAVE to react to The Descent Part 2... the plot twist is great 😄
IMO, it's dumb. There's no hint in this movie or that one to suggest it.
Asia’s reaction at the end was the best I’ve ever seen 🤣
I believe Juno in the car was just a hallucination.
Yep sure was , watch 2
23:33 was the moment I was waiting for 😁😁😁
Ha I bet Asia’s blanket got a workout with this one 😆
This movie is still so good after all these years. Great react! If you want another similar movie, there's "The Cave". And another one but not in a cave but in catacombs : "As Above, So Below", which is based on the real catacombs of Paris.
Cave is awesome without a doubt
And then there is the movie Catacombs.
I went into this movie blind and it was INSANE. Even if it didn't have the creatures in it, it would still give me so much anxiety. I'll never go cave diving never ever ever.
Just found your channel and you guys are hilarious! Keep it up.
I remember I was 14yo and went into 28 Days Later blind. Fml 😂
Cave diving involves scuba gear. This is caving, also called spelunking.
@@atmorb Lol so I have a funny story about the second movie. I must have been 12 when I decided to watch 28 Weeks Later and the idea of running zombies never occurred to me. But it definitely scares me. So I watched it late at night and after it was over I was doing the scared walk through my house. You know the one. I go to the bathroom and as soon as I sit down, I start hearing this snarling sound DIRECTLY outside the window. It gave me such a fright that I ran to the door with my pants falling down, started banging on the door like I forgot how the door worked. I eventually ran out and collapsed on the living room couch and all my Mom could do was look at me with WTF. She tells me there was nothing out there and she starts playing back camera feed from outside. I almost died because two cats were fighting directly outside our bathroom window. Though I probably broke up their fight because of how much I was screaming lol
This movie is so GOOD! I can't wait for this reaction!
Ok guys to switch it up lol …. “WOLF CREEK” (2005), and “HOSTEL” (2005)…. I Never see reactions to those. 😎
I watched this with a guy I was dating he screamed louder than me. It hurt to stifle my laugh 😂
This is a rough one, but thank you for the reaction. There’s a question of whether Sara is losing her mind and imagining the creatures, and perhaps it was her or natural causes that killed her friends. Or if they are real, it could be that they were once humans trapped down here who changed and became monsters.
There are clearly creatures.
Definitely degenerated humans. Don't know why they're blind: that elk and all those bones mean they occasionally go outside, even if after dark.
Reel talk! I blinked and Asia turned into her blanket when the first sight of the crawler came.😂Thank you for enduring this wonderful movie. BJ "you still watchin'?" He couldn't look away, but checkin in.😂❤😂
Damn, I was hoping you'd watch the UK version with the true ending. A few people already commented about what happens after she sees Juno, but yeah the true ending shows Sarah's final 'Descent' into madness. I believe it was the director who said it didn’t seem kind to her to have her actually escape the caves sinces she's literally lost absolutely everything at that point, including her sanity. She has nothing left.
I didnt realize there was another ending. I always watched the uk version not knowing, its a more cruel ending which i preferred. I was tripping when i saw their reaction, I was like i remember them all dying. lol
This movie scared the crap out of me when I first saw it lol.
This movie always reminds me of a date I had. He was so mad that I wasn’t super scared and didn’t ask him to spend the night! He was so offended that I wasn’t “girlie” and didn’t act scared. Lol. I told him that’s not me, I love scary movies. But he was so mad and just left. 😂😂 it’s a great movie and definitely scary, but he was jerky. Great reaction from two of my favorite reactors and people!❤
Yikes, you dodged a bullet with that one.
@@lonetardigrade definitely, still it kind of hurt my feelings. I wouldn’t have asked him to spend the night regardless, it was a first date! Also I had to pay for dinner and a movie!😂
What a prick! Of all things, it actually makes sense that his douchebaggery would take the edge off. You kinda sorta got lucky - too bad, so sad, that he didn’t lol
@@beesnort3163I don't mind paying for the man, but I don't like ego attitude 😂
@@lucianaromulus1408 I don’t mind either as long as an effort is made to ask or Dutch.
"Ew its like boogers on the wall!"
"That's the phosphorus! The Crystallization!"

Time for part 2!!!!!
Glad yall watched this one it’s always it’s always fun 😂😂😂😂
Halloween Comic Relief. For Asia and BJ:
1. Zombie Land
2. Tucker and Dale vs. Evil
I think you guys will really like these , take a break from pure horror!!
If you really want cheese, also try Frankenhooker, Blood Diner, Student Bodies.
1000% agree that they should watch tucker and dale
I second Tucker & Dale vs. Evil 😂
And Cabin in the Woods!
Replace Tucker with Slither.
See part 2 right away.
I never wanted to go cave exploring in the first place but this movie, definitely made it clear that I never wanted to. Even an open cave system with clear exists
One of the BEST horror films. Love it 😂
I haven't watched this before, but from your preview I think I'm "askurrrd!!!" 😮 😮 😮
"Bald-headed gargoyle." LMAO! That would make such a great insult line.
This movie is way scarier than some stupid ghost movie. Claustrophobia, fear of the dark, fear of heights, fear of getting ripped apart and eaten alive, fear of being around a bunch of bickering women... Real fears. 😁
I think this is the first time I heard Asia fully scream.
Asia , this is exactly why I suggested rear window for a break ! I remember this movie being scarier than I thought it would be , but I really liked it .
Rear window is less gory but suspenseful Af
Both the original with Jimmy Stewart, and the remake with Christopher Reeve.
@@julietfischer5056 I straight up forgot about the Christopher Reeves remake ! Wow !
Have you watched the similar movies both I think Netflix . The woman in the window. With Amy Adams. Or The woman across the street from the girl in the window. With Kristen Bell ?
Weirdly , they are very similar. But not the same at all , they’re both excellent and they’ve been remastered the premise twice with these movies and both of them are excellent ! It’s kind of interesting how this one idea is still providing more art .
@@dawnyoung8- Seeing something that may or may not be a crime is not new. It's all in how well the story is done. How much does the protagonist see? Could they be mistaken? Why can't they get help (or why don't authorities believe them)? And so on.
BTW, _The Flintstones_ had an episode that had fun with the premise, and with the Alfred Hitchcock television series.
@@julietfischer5056 I Do love the. Flintstones . They’re all good movies
@@dawnyoung8- Animated series.
BJ has me DEAD with these horror reactions, I caaaaan’t 😂😂 Always tellin Asia, “babe look, you got to you got to.” 😂💀
You guy need to watch part 2 as it continues right after the first one.
Loves how Asia laughs when she gets scared
Wow.....this month's videos have been brutal.
Loving it!!
👍👍👍👍👍👍
The uk ending was so much better. Great reaction
Hands down the best reaction I've seen to this movie. 🙌
In the beginning they were in a country that had right side steering wheel, a lot of people missed that.
The Actress Cast consists of Scottish, Irish, Swedish, Dutch, British, and Australian.
This is a great movie 😊
My dreams came through....lol I've been patiently waiting
You'll be fine as long as no toes are exposed. Double blankets are smart! No evil things can thwart TWO blankets!! 😆😆
I get why people mad at Juno for what she did. But id forgive her for killing ole girl cuz in that situation im swinging first asking questiins later. Those things are scary
This film is terrifying!
Asia and BJ are the best Horror movie reactors. Kudos to you guys 🎃
I saw this in the theater. When he got up off the floor the whole place had a collective scream/gasp. It was a great one to experience in person.
As Above So Below
Would love LOVE to see your reaction to the movie “Creep” it’s a psychological horror.
Seconded. A disturbing one for sure.
Have you seen Hard Candy ? That was a psychological thriller ! Whoa !
Another weird one is the one with David Hyde pierce ? From Frazier , something guest . Weird but good .
40:28 Was the best reaction ever!! The last jumpscare in Signs is a very close 2nd place. Poor Asia.
I always tell anyone who is going to watch The Descent for the first time, that this film is not suitable if you suffer from claustrophobia and are afraid of the dark, because the film is both combined, and you may HAVE TO watch it in the dark in order to see as much as you can.
That ended too soon she wakes up back inside the cave, and the escape was just a dream!
Ohhhh! I forgot about this movie!!!! It is one of my top 3 horror movies. So realistic and well done! 🤯
Hehe this was great 😃 the descent is one of my favorite horror films. I love it!! That was definitely Juno at the end of the film in the car. Sarah was hallucinating. Its funny because the two actresses were really close on set and had alot of fun filming the movie. I even made several replica pieces of Junos feather necklace.
I don't know about the movie but Asia's scream.scared the crap out of me!
Y'all really need to see part 2 as well
I think they're going to cave under the pressure.
Oh, you went there. I’m sorry this happened to you 😂
Don't feel bad Asia, this one scared the crap out of when I saw it years ago. But at the same time, such an awesome horror flick!
Yall have been picking the perfect movies lately, next PLEASE do Candyman (1992).. then react to the sequels! ❤❤❤
Don't forget part 2 of this movie yall
That was Juno in the end. I remember this when it first came out. So good. Even the second one is good.
2 rules for situations like that. 1: Don't sneak up on someone. 2: Go beast mode till the enemy is down for good.
"It's eating her alive! It's eating her alive!" lol BJ killed me with that part. This is the movie that made me realize I had bad claustrophobia. I saw it in theaters when I came out and about had a panic attack at the part where she got stuck in the passageway.
I love how while Holly is crawling through that tight hole, Asia is scared something is going to grab her rather than acknowledging the terror of just being in that tiny crawl space
Awesome reaction now watch part 2. It starts right after this one ends and doesn't skip a beat like a 3 hr movie.
In the UK version of the 2005 film The Descent, the ghost of Juno appears in the passenger seat of Sarah's car after she pulls over to vomit. This causes Sarah to wake up at the bottom of the cave, realizing her escape was a dream.
In the US version, the film cuts to the credits after Sarah sees Juno's ghost.
