    When Taylor just has a guitar or a piano she goes off. I love her stage performances but when she is acoustic its just hit different. I think thats what makes her an artist. She is always bringing you something special no matter the set up. I just love the raw emotion you see in her when she is just with her instrument and voice.

    Her mixed voice has improved SO MUCH over the years. In some of her earlier performances, you can SEE the stress in her body when she’d approach her chest/head changeover. I’m not judging-puberty is a b¡tch on the voice and she went through it with the world listening, plus an ED that didn’t leave her the energy to fully support her notes-just commending the persistence and work ethic in training her voice to be what it is today. I hope young people who want to sing see how much she’s grown and understand nobody is born Eras Tour Taylor Swift-even Taylor Swift. Hard work and good training goes a long way!

      Taylor said early in her career award shows and such made her super nervous and it would reflect in her vocals,but at her concerts where she knew 100% of the crowd was with her she was more confident in her vocals.

    • @calliea3336
      @calliea3336 8 месяцев назад +7

      @@EricAriel5 And that’s a good lesson for young singers, too! Everyone has circumstances they get nervous in. Even Taylor Swift has gotten stage fright, so nobody should be too hard on themselves for it. It’s something that can be worked on and usually overcome, or at least improved. 😊

She’s not pretending the emotion bc she writes her life into her music. Not many artists can make u feel their music like she can. I’m not a Swiftie or a super fan of anyone bc they are just people, but she is definitely a special musician.

    This was a Lover album concert in fall 2019; sort of a warmup to her Loverfest tour that got cancelled. Audience was just 3000 in a historic old French theater in Paris. It was up on Disney+ in March 2020 after covid lockdowns started; in April she started working with Aaron Dessner on what would be folklore. They released it in July without announcements or promo; because she needed something to do. The Long Pond Studio Sessions film was done in Sep 2020; then she dropped Evermore in December. She is a total workaholic.

    The only thing wrong with lover in some peoples eyes is "me!" and maybe "you need to calm down"...."me!" is a lot of peoples "shake it off" to you (I love shake it off btw) Although now Lover is getting its due because its skyrocketing YEARS after its release (released aug 2019) and its not a re-record for ownership. Lover was the first record she owned right after recording it.

    I think this and Don't Blame Me are some of her best. But we also need to remember that one specific performance on 1989 World Tour with Wiz Khalifa - See You Again. On the last chorus she goes absolutely insane with that belting note and emotion in her voice. Way better that the original for me (no hate to Charlie Puth, he's an incredible vocalist, but Taylor made that song better). I also don't see a lot of fans and people appreciating her vocals on Speak Now. In Taylor's Version she has improved so much and these big notes in the bridges of Dear John, Haunted, The Story Of Us, etc. are incredibly good!!

    I love how she pulled off a Morissette style intentional vocal break on several occasions 6:12 3:31 8:02. It's very tastefully placed on specific parts, and not all over the place. There's also a bit in 7:47 and 7:49, and I'm so here for it. And that freaking growl 7:53.. Yes lioness!!

    To me there is something magical about the way Taylor uses her falsetto and I don't actually know how to explain it because I'm not a singer, but I think you might have been noticing the same thing when you said transition? It's something to do with the way she slides in and out of it, like... it sounds impossibly easy and smooth. I don't know if I'm making sense, but there it is.

    Ok Please seriously go react to Taylor Swift, Grammy Museum performance she’s acoustic one electric guitar and just her on the piano and you can hone in on how good she sounds. Plus she explains why she wrote every song it’s four songs Blank Space it’s hilarious the story that she talks about and how she got to that songwriting point of view, how to get the girl Out of the woods and wildest dreams on the electric guitar and that’s just her on the Grammy museum stage in front of Grammy members so it’s very small and it’s Fanfuckingtastic! This one would be right up your alley because you can hear every single note every time she goes up or down or squeaks it’s fantastic

    There is just something different when she does an acoustic performance the main thing I always talk about when going to the Eras tour was the acoustic set part of the show which is also the surprise song of the show she does two songs the first on guitar which for me was Out Of The Woods and I will never shut up about it and the second on the piano which for me was the song Fifteen which was about her and her friend Abigail going thru high school together and that song was a big part of my childhood and I almost cried during it and will never shut up about it either

    I am forever now a fan of your react videos. You really do pick up on the parts of her songs (melody/belting/etc) that get me, too... so I freaking love it. 😂💜

    Yes that’s one of her best performances ever, I love that one! You’re not crazy. I love that song too. This version is even better than the original. You are a perfect example of soooo many people who just write her off and say she sucks but don’t know how talented she really is! Glad you came around! She sang this so well while playing guitar at the same stinkin time. And then as you saw she can do something totally different with a big performance like Don’t Blame Me. She can do it all.

    Lmao omg I LOVE your reactions when you realize HOW good she is. This is MY favorite vocal performance too! Which is why I own both the album and the live vynils lol it was SUCH A GOOD performance!!!
    I love that Taylor is finally getting her flowers cause she’s worked SO HARD on her vocals, like you said it’s not her thing but SHES MAKING IT HER THING. She got a lot of sh*t for her vocals and she went and put in the work to make them soooo good.
