I honestly think this patch is just bad for spirit. They usually win through late game by out team fighting opponents. This patch favour quick early to mid game timing which is perfect for teams like liquid and GG
Usually, the patch before TI slows the game down and makes it focus on large teamfights. Given that this patch has focused on laning and early tempo, the next patch might push it back towards mid and late game teamfights.

Liquid just stomped them like they are a NA level team. 2 back to back 25-30 min ultra stomps with 33 having 5k lead over collapse and Nisha outclassing Lars. Liquid has always been the team who plays at 100% in important events while not preparing as much for lower tier event, they are in full force for this one

Group B is not that easy, its just they have 4 weak team and 4 strong teams in their bracket while Group A have 5-6 strong teams with 2-3 weak teams. Group A have lots of clutch moments where they can make comeback even on huge disadvantages while Group B have some of them but not as crazy as Group A did. I never said that Group B was easy but since they have balanced amount of strong and weak teams, the result speak for itself. Group A on the other hand have lots of strong teams and their score from rank 1 and 6 is not that far behind, they only have 3 points difference compared to Group B where they have 5+ point difference between Rank 1 and 6.
