Extremely Low Cost Travels - Georgia.
The current episode focuses on Georgia, which we passed by on the way from Central Europe to Armenia.
In Georgia there are still some beautiful valleys which are still not a mass tourism places, and thanks to that they offer great variety of wild landscapes, vast open spaces and beautiful breathtaking sceneries.
In this episode we focused on the Truso Valley, which begins about 20km away from popular touristic town of Kazbegi. But because in the Truso Valley there is almost no tourist infrastructure, and the road leading there is quite demanding for standard passenger cars this place is rarely visited by tourists. Thanks to that you can enjoy undisturbed nature, natural mineral springs, colorful limestone travertines and ruins of medieval forts in peace.
As usual, our trips are organized in the most low-budget way possible.
With own supplies and free accomodation in a tent it is possible to greatly reduce the costs of expedition. The total expenses for 1-month long expedition and covered distance of over 10.000 km were about 200€ per person.

Good video, It is dangerous to drive like that in remote place. What is your back up plan if yr car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. How to seek help?

If a gravel road leads somewhere, the place is not very isolated. We have never had a serious car breakdown, but we also never drove on roads that no one uses. In the event of a breakdown, you can always count on someone to show up once every 1-2 days. And if the car breaks down seriously... well, it's worth about $500... you can buy another scrap car instead ;)
