Thanks allot for this video. Yes, I'm one of the new guys who has played a couple of seasons and have been using the high tier tanks you get from them. It has not gone well. This is the kind of advice I cane use.
This is my favorite comment I have gotten in a long time. I am so grateful that I could help. Stick around because I’ve got more tutorials coming soon!
Great video. You are definitely one of the best communicators on RUclips. Detailed information, opinion, and suggestions with no extra words. 3 marks dude
I remember the grind to my first tier X . It was my IS4 then my E5 . Now it’s like you said , it’s play to win. Which you still don’t win because you got everyone just racing out to the open getting killed . Games are over within the first 3 minutes
CG, how did you not call this "The magnificent Seven"? (Cue music!) I'll agree with this list, good solid vehicles that require the player to do the work. I'm trying to learn the game again after more than a year away and oh yeah...the game has changed and I'm playing like I never have played before? So I'm going to relearn through these vehicles. You sound a lot happier these days. Your lady has a quirky sense of humour. Keep her.
Thx for the video, just subbed. I started the game two months ago, and must say i have a lot of fun. I unlocked yesterday my first Tier 6 tank F2P (the KV2, played the KV1 before and bought also the KV1-S and the T-150), it was a big grind, but also very fun. I dont go for good meta tanks or such, i dont usually look anything up. I just play what i want, and thats it. Thats why it took me so long to reach Tier 6, bc i tried many tanks from different Countries, but at the end of the day i love Heavy Tanks (and sometimes Medium). I just feel mighty. I dont know if its true, but as a beginner my biggest lesson i learned is that positioning is key. To protect you as much as possible, and if you are lucky even take out multiple enemies without being detected. I will play Sovjet Tanks, but i must say as a German the Tanks from Germany are really fun, im trying to get the Tiger. And i refuse to pay for tanks with real money. I think i will buy Gold to convert some XP and stuff, but i wont bother spenting 20-30€ for a single tank.
Premium time is often a better investment than converting XP if you don’t already have it. It will boost your xp by 50% and you’ll make even more credits. If you play enough, it’s only 2,000 gold for the season pass and there’s all sorts of goodies in there. You’ll get various premiums and you’ll get more than the gold you spent back if you make it through.
@@CloneGuy Thanks for your reply🙏 Unfortunately I saw your answer too late, and converted XP. Not much money, so not the end of the world. Ofc I got progress, I think the Tiger I is reachable in a day or two. But yes, I think Premium is much more worth.
@@Truest_Eagle Awesome! Injoy your Tiger. I'll have to make a video on it sometime, and if you ever are looking for Tiger II gameplay, I have a bunch on the channel.
@@CloneGuy Thanks, I finally have the Tiger I and bought the Season Pass (Ultimate). And tbh worth it, so much value for me as a Mid-Tier Player atm. And the Tiger I is so fun, even tho I'm not sure what gun would be the best. But experience is all I need. And thanks, I will check the Tiger II Gameplay out!
What do you think about their premium equivalents? I will say I regret selling my T29 when I got the Minuteman because that thing is soooo slow. But the Captured KV1 and the Hellcat 105 and T34-85M seem to be good? Thoughts?
The Hellcat 105 is nuts. It’s a little too good. I feel it might teach bad habits. The Captured KV-1 has the small gun from the tech tree so that one is fine, and the T-34-85M trades mobility for armor, so a balanced trade-off.
As good as this video is, it honestly feels like you're preaching to the choir at this point. Most of the players who took this game seriously are no longer around anymore ... these days, your average player will whip out mommy and daddy's credit card and buy a Season Pass for a shockingly low amount of gold and they'll have a tier 8, 9 , or 10 premium in their garage before they've even researched a tech tree tank above tier 5. I was completely against the idea of Season Passes because of the literal zero effort it takes to obtain them, and now, three and a half years since 6.0 - as a result of the constant Season Passes - tiers 8-10 have become practically unplayable. The high tiers have become oversaturated with noobs and simply awful players. The amount of bots I've seen from tiers 4-7 has been absolutely shocking, and the amount of times I've been bottom tier in a tier 8 premium is just absolutely disgusting - most of the game's current players are at tiers 8-10 (where probably 60-70% of them shouldn't be in the first place) and I'm seeing worse gameplay at tiers 8-10 than at tiers 4-7. The game no longer has the population to sustain balanced gameplay across all of the tiers. Tiers 8-10 are a complete and total joke now ... what was once heralded as the pinnacle of World of Tanks - tier 10 - has become its biggest laughingstock. Overall, the game simply feels more unplayable than ever before.
The absolute absurdity of the rng bs I’ve seen lately has destroyed my desire to play as I once did. Nine year veteran but playing very little as all you said I agree with too. WOTC is obviously chasing money but in that pursuit all they’ve accomplished is to rear end all the veteran player base imo.
Thankfully, there have been at least two who said this was a video they needed. It’s a step in the right direction, even if it is a small one. If we can get this channel back to its glory days, we will have a bigger impact on the struggling community and will hopefully help the game more through proper education.
Get over it guys. It’s a game. If it ain’t fun any more then don’t play it. You want to take it seriously? Go join the army And for the record you’ve always been able to use a CC to buy a tier 8 at least from the last 7 or so years anyway. Don’t be sad on how other players play. If you get more MVPs then cool. You can never control your win loss and who cares. If the games too easy then move on. There is Lots of games I’ve really loved over the years and don’t play any more and never will because I don’t enjoy them. They are still very active too. Try Cold War? Love tanks? They WT. try PC or phone variants. Life’s too short to complain and have an entitled veteran attitude. Just enjoy it, if not find something else to do.
Tiers 5-6-7 are not only good for learning, they are simply more fun than tiers 8-9-10 right now. Almost finished the Tusk contract, can't wait to drop down a few tiers after that...
Tip for new players-Use the free camera mode in replays to learn the maps. Access replays by pressing start in the garage to bring up options. Only tank for me is the bat 12😎Not recommended for new players or unicorns. Only for legends
Agree with most of your picks except for the last two. The Hellcat is just too overpowered, it will (as you said before) play the game for you. Use the Nashorn instead. Worse camo, so you have to think and learn how camo works. Less mobility, so you have to think and learn how to use terrain and how the game flows. It also has one of the best guns in the game to reward you if you play it right. Scouting is maybe the most difficult thing in the game, so a tank should teach only scouting, and not distract you with an autoloader. Use a T37 or a CMCD.
T34-85 plays exactly the same as Obj 140/ Obj 430-U ?? lmao T34-85 is a great tank and YES its a keeper it has a kinda armored turret , but that's where the comparison ends ... it does NOT compare with its tierX big brothers AT ALL (most people will shoot premium shells , so forget about using your armor
Nice to have you back. Thank you.
You are very welcome!
She perked up when she heard "credit card". ^^
😅😅😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It is good having you back. Please don't let the game stress you out.
Love your content.
I’ll try not to. I’m having fun at the moment
Fun is the art of playing around the frustrations of this game imo.

Or just stay ay mid-tier and never deal with the idiots at 9&10. Another good video, thanks Clone.
Yeah, but they’re everywhere.

How do you do that thing where your aiming focuses on a tank for like a split second and it makes some cool techy noise?
My right bumper
Huh wdym your right bumper?
R1 for PS

The intro is back 🙌
Yeah!! How about a new one? 🤔
Just subscribed! Love the breakdown on the Hellcat, very good points. I’m building a playlist on RUclips to help me with doing better at using it 😎
Tiers 5-6-7 are not only good for learning, they are simply more fun than tiers 8-9-10 right now. Almost finished the Tusk contract, can't wait to drop down a few tiers after that...
I’m the same way anytime I do a contract
I miss the VK 36 being a medium.
Use the T29 with 90mm. Way more DPM and premium almost has same pen
Refuse to play training wheel right tanks
Aka russian tanks.
Nice picks
Tip for new players-Use the free camera mode in replays to learn the maps. Access replays by pressing start in the garage to bring up options.
Only tank for me is the bat 12😎Not recommended for new players or unicorns. Only for legends
The free cam really helps. Especially, use the free cam to watch the top player during a match to see where he went and what he did.
When im in my t6 tanks im mostly bottom tier it seems going against t8 tanks. Getting "clubbed"
Agree with most of your picks except for the last two.

Potentially. I suppose I should have included an 8th tank then since the T71 DA is a good autoloader teacher
@@CloneGuy I recommend the Strv m/42-57 or the Sherman with the AMX turret for that, both premium though.
I need old wot hud
The match making is crap at tire 5-10 half of the time!! Not just 10s
Mm is crap, so is 90% of the rest of this game lol.
The t34-88 for me it’s the best tank j
It’s a premium tank , not in a tree.
T34-85 plays exactly the same as Obj 140/ Obj 430-U ?? lmao

Naw, sold all my ww2 tanks, I hate playing in slow MO 🤨
bros attention span is fried
Lern how to play the game... go on 4 marks😂evan i cant make 4 marks
It's console, sell the whole thing.
