  • Most coin collectors that I know are history nerds. As the son of a history teacher, I too have a profound appreciation for history. My friend, Matt Dinger, owner of The Lost Dutchman Rare Coins has found a way to share real historical artifacts. His new History Bags are not only fun, interesting, historically significant, but also affordable. This video is the world's introduction to his cool new product. If you enjoy this video, be sure to subscribe and leave a comment.

My faves.....berlin wall piece....Japanese bar coin....antiquity coins...civil war bullet.....great idea and serious value

To be fair I forgot to mention that there's an average of $6 shipping for the Civil War bullets. Also keep in mind that the coin dealer in this video is buying all of these items in bulk so he's getting each item for much cheaper on average.

Agreed. Never thought I’d own a little piece of the Berlin Wall.

Great business concept to create these History Bags, I like the idea. Over here Russian Wire Money is called "Tropfkopeken" (drop kopeks), but I think the English term is more accurate. Sometimes they are hard to identify if they got a decentered strike. Great show, keep it up ! Saludos desde Alemania, U.

Ancients are so hard to move sometimes because of the COAs. This is a great way to get ancients back to be collectible again.

indeed, before Peter the Great in Russia there was a period when coins were minted from wire. they were called "scales".

If I go to a coin shop, I want to get coins, not historical artifacts and such. It's a cool idea for educating the youth but not ideal for most coin/numismatic collectors, in my personal opinion.

eh interesting .. but i figure people would save a few bucks if they just got the coins they wanted over any mystery packs .. just feels like a another money grabs because your spending more on packaging .. i like the display cards over all and i would have stopped there with extra costs
