@@midnights2631I at first thought that Stella was too incompetent to hide her evil in front of her daughter, but she's more of a, well, mastermind, than we all thought
I couldn't stand hearing via cry, made me upset, she's my favorite character in the whole show, she doesn't know how evil her own mother is,I really hope she doesn't turn on stolas, and hope she finds out about Stella trying to kill him
@@BorealisFantasy We know, but Vizie talking about the possibility of a movie where both studio could collaborate. That's if A24 one day agees to do so.
1. Seeing Loona AND Queen Bee is heartwarming! 2. Hearing them cry over blitz really shows that they all care! Including Loona!! 3. Hearing Loona call Blitz "dad" once again and she also telling him she loves him made e scream!! 4. BLITZ KISSED STOLAS' CHEEK AHHHHHHHH!!!!
The best part is also the fact that they didn’t have any complications this time with getting Bee to voice again since they struggled when they released ep 8 of season 1
Bee was right, Satan is pretty bangable. Also seeing Moxxie, Millie, and Blitz showing empathy for each other, and Blitz sacrificing himself for them was heartwarming.
It felt like Satan was saying that before Lucifer fell, Satan himself was in charge of Hell. If that is the case, it would make sense why the other Sins just defer to his judgment
Apparently, Viv said on Twitter that Satan was bullshitting when he claimed to be the first ruler before Lucifer. Idk, I'm really confused about the world building and lore rn when it comes to that 🤷♀️
Personally don't think Satan was there before Lucifer fell because I don't think hell existed before Lucifer fell. I mean heaven never expected people to be evil and need to go to a place like hell after their death because they didn't plan to give them the right/freedom to choose an 'evil' path in the first place. As they mentioned in Hazbin hotel, evil only came into existence because Lucifer and Lilith gave Adam and eve the apple/freedom so hell should have only come into existence with their fall i think.
I know, and everyone in the fandom is soooo hard on that poor lil twink owl thinking he deserves all of it. He just sacrificed everything for love, show some compassion people. 😂
@@esteemedmortal5917 really? The last thing she saw was him about to be executed... I have a feeling her mom is going to confirm that and once she finds out Stolas is indeed alive and Stella has been keeping him away, the tables will finally turn for that relationship. Poor Stolas can't really catch a break.
The "Stolas becoming the I.M.P secretary/accountant" theory is slowly confirming. Plus I do hope his daughter wakes up and realizes how much of a POS her mother really is... 🙏🏻
"You never loved mother, you never loved me... You love him.....!" Sorry to break it to you, Ayy Lmao, but.... "Sinsmas" might NOT be just a "fun side-episode"; Octavia's teaser line says otherwise.
YES! I forgot about that one, as well as the S2:E12 Andrealphus sketch teaser, and the bit with Via. Seriously, though; SCREW Stella, and Andrea….. hope they both get just due, like Crimson.
@@roxentrail5388 that probably won't happen till the end of season 4 knowing viv. Viv might make octavia a villain and she will try to kill both Stolas and Blitz.
I love how Fizz just IMMEDIATELY texted Ozzie when he saw Blitz was gonna be executed. Also, the ending kiss broke my f*cking heart when I saw it. Stolas did indeed lose everything, and even after being such a douche to him, Blitz still cares and looks out for him.
Even if Vassago wasn’t as important in this episode it was still amazing to see him! My favorite part of his was when he got excited about stolas singing to explain everything 🤣
Ohhhh im sure that’ll be really exciting!Knowing his character personality and somewhat on Stolas’s side I’m wondering maybe he’ll go against Andrealphus and help IMP/Stolas but I’m not sure yet, I don’t wanna think too deep about it lol
What was with Oz and Bee’s glance toward Lucifer’s throne? My interpretation was ‘Where is he when you need him?’ kind of thing, like Lucifer used keep Satan and the others in line but after Lilith ‘vanished’ he became the depressed version of himself we first see in Hazbin and shirked all his responsibilities. I need to know what Charlie’s relationship with the Sins is like, surely they’ve met, I hope they are like Aunts and Uncles. And why didn’t Lilith have a chair? I know she’s not a Sin, but she is the Queen of Hell.
Actually Viv confirmed that Satan was lying about ruling before Lucifer fell. He was basically just boosting himself up, since Lucifer isn’t there Satan can say anything he wants. Thats why Bee and Ozzie looked at Lucifer’s chair because they know Satan is lying but Satan is over them so they probably didn’t want to overstep.
Oz ‘n Bee looked up at Luci’s chair because they knew Satan was full of SHIT when he says that he ruled before Luci-obviously Luci isn’t there to have a say, so Satan says whatever he wants. The expression they had when looking however was probably because of the intensity in the moment. Also, I’ve seen tons of Pinterest fanart of Charlie and the sins having an Aunt and Uncle relationship as you said :) I also hope it’s like that. Good catch by the way! I feel like Lilith would have a large say in trials because of how shes painted in Hazbin, but most likely (if she did have a place in the trials) after she left-her throne was most likely removed, or maybe Luci _did_ put Lilith in charge of all the trials. Meaning the throne would be Lilith’s. So by that, probably the throne was reused to Luci so _he_ can run the trials instead to replace Lili.
This is probably the best episode so far. We finally saw all the deadly sins. We finally saw Blitz and Stolas really getting closer. We finally saw Luna really love her father.
This episode went so hard, And I loved every second of it! While I hated seeing IMP on trial, It was nice to see all of the Sins in one place especially Beelzebub I'm happy to see that Kesha reprised her role as the character! Just as I was happy to see that at least Bee and Asmodeus were willing to defend Blitz and friends, knowing that two of the 7 had their backs was just the best! But it totally sucked that Stolas was stripped of his status and is now a commoner. But at least they were all spared from execution, And now pretty much all the Imps and other lower-class demons in Hell have IMP's back! It gives off a real vibe of "They won the battle, but they haven't won the war." And knowing Stella and Andrealphus they're definitely still not done with Stolas and IMP yet. They may have taken Stolas's job, his royal status, custody of his daughter, And accidentally gained plenty of business for IMP. But Stella and Andrealphus are still going to try and kill them all. But anyway, I was glad that the episode had a somewhat happy ending! I was so happy to finally see Blitz and Loona hug!!! But I feel so bad for Stolas he lost everything, but I just know he'll get everything back by the end of the series!
I haven’t seen anyone talk about how upsetting fizz’s reaction is? I mean, blitz has to be like fizz’s bestfriend and they just rekindled their friendship. He thought he was gonna loose blitz AGAIN☹️
Which also reinforce to me that if Cash wasn’t piece of shit Blitzø was able to see and talk to Fizz after the fire maybe they could have been friends again after a few years have pass maybe prevented Blitzø from damaging himself from guilt
@ maybe, there’s also a chance they could’ve gotten together. Considering blitz had a crush on fizz and had planned to confess. There’s also a chance that he stayed in circus business.
The next episode will most definitely NOT be a side episode. I went through the season two trailer again, and there are a few scenes we haven't seen. From the looks of it, there's going to be some Stolas and Octavia drama with a possible Octavia song and Blitz and Stolas will fight Andre. That is NO side episode.
This is the first episode that has had me wanting for more. I was so focused on the episode I stopped drawing without even realising. This was actually such an amazing episode.
4:58 I think the reason why Satan is so high up on the hierarchy is because in the episode Satan says “I’ve ruled the endless dark since long before the golden angel’s fall” That would mean that Lucifer wasn’t the first deadly sin and that satan was originally most likely the ruler of hell before Lucifer fell down Edit: this was before I found out about the tweets and when the episode just came out, chill out y’all,
He probably ruled all forces of evil in the shadows till lucifer and lillith got banished and lucifer made hell while lillith embraced it, and since lucifer is probably busy with more important things in the pride ring(or making new ducks) satan got the title as hell's law and probably second on command of lucifer till charlie takes her spot as the queen

@ArtComet0_0 so how the hell you did not know that??and helluva boss not taking all the inspiration from chirtianity does not make my claim less true or yours more valid since it's already confirmed
I love Stoliz, I'm sad for Stolas but I can't help of the phrase 'fuck around and find out'. Stolas knew he fucked around and he found out it wasn't as easy as just dying. He was seriously punished and we gotta see what happens from here on. As for their relationship I hope they don't just dive back into it. Stolas just lost everything and hasn't even had time to process this, it would be rather predatory and Stolas needs time and space to just exist, much less heal. Blitzø needs to figure out how the hell he's going to pay his bills while supporting Stolas on top of everything. A part of me is still convinced he hasn't quite learned his lesson yet given he was stating to say something before he realized Stolas was asleep. For the Sins I think Ozzie and Bee took a back seat because they were weaker sins. Ozzie also knew about the whole deal in the background and by extension Fizz does as well. I can see him being mindful while still trying to help. For Bee while she may be more powerful she also has a rather poor reputation given she's dating Vortex openly, she hangs out with Hellhounds which are the lowest on the latter entirely. If she actually wanted to Challenge Satan then she could but she'd effectively only have Ozzie as back up and Satan effectively has two sins on his side, the only outlier being Sloth who was napping most of the time. Really it could throw their rings into turmoil for two people, even if they like those two they have much bigger things to worry about so they likely played it safe and took a more back seat to things. Then again this is probably just me overthinking things. At the end of the day Blitzø and Stolas are both alive and that's a starting point.
That was basically my thinking too because you can see how much Ozzie and Bee don’t want Blitz to die and we’re the main advocators for a fair trial, but Satan really does seem like the most powerful Deadly Sin next to Lucifer and something tells me Satan wouldn’t be above going after Bee and Ozzie for physically intervening with his ruling.😥😥😥
@globbyakaweirdjellyguy954 I can see Bee being very powerful and having more sway but her reputation being the thing that holds her back. Behind the scenes she might be more cloak and dagger but she's not the one running the trial so she doesn't have as much sway like she usually does, especially with Satan who's more likely in charge of these kinds of matters outside of her ring. Ozzie has far more people to worry about and traded and signed away too much of his own power to really help.
@@TheRealSparkplugTheFox Bee definitely knows how to read people with her empathetic abilities, so I think she would be good for situations where people can actually be persuaded, but yeah, in Satan’s court I doubt it will help much.😥 Ozzie at least seems to be a beloved ruler and gives his people a good life, but it is true like you said that he probably has less power and influence compared to the others.😔
@globbyakaweirdjellyguy954 More like he legally couldn't he probably has a lot of deals in place that are binding. I have no doubt he did everything he could but we know for a fact he's the weakest of the sins in terms of bargaining power.
@@TheRealSparkplugTheFox Agreed. Sex sells but money, food and drugs certainly are high value commodities that can let the other Deadly Sins get more bargaining power.😔
5:25 I feel like that really shows the difference in dynamic of the higher-ups and the lowborn even though Fizz wanted him to do something about it it seemed like Ozzie knew that that was all he could do in this situation.
Love the ending on Stolas, he was prepared to die for his actions and for imp he loves the only thing he didn't take account for is his punishment changing yes he's lost his powers his statis but he still got one of the most precious thing his ALIVE . As long still he's still got his life, he can bounce right back up and he can still manage to talk to his daughter if they let him, and maybe hopefully he and blitz can rekindle their little love spark so I love it ep11
Maybe it's because I watch a lot of "made for kids" media, and they don't tend to kill off characters, but even knowing Blitz and Stolas wouldn't die, I was still on the edge of my seat. My focus was more on the how it's gonna happen and change the course of the story vs the oh I know how it ends, so I'm not worried.
i just hope that the drama between stolas and blitz doesnt go away just because theyre on the same level now they have burned bridgdes, that doesnt magically go away. sure this life altering situation is distracting them from that, i just hoep once the adrenaline dies down and they wake up the next day, they address the owl in the room
my fav detail in the episode is the use of red chains and eyes on weapons makes me think roo (root of all evil) is finally, slowly, being integrated into the hellaverse
When Stolas saw Loona Hugging Blitz, it reminded him of what relationship he could have had with Octavia. Also this Episode reminded me of two Hazbin Hotel episodes "Radio Killed the Video Star" and "Welcome to Heaven"
I wish that we got a little more Octavia. I wonder if she still thinks that Stolas is dead, or later learned that he's just been stripped of his political power.
They definitely also overlooked much during the court case. When Stolas admitted that he was behind the book thing, no one questions why he would've hired an assassin onto himself, nor did anyone call Striker out on his (very bad) lie. In turn, no one turned to Andrealphos either, so they all got off scott free despite them trying to set a (technically innocent) imp up for death! But I suppose Satan didn't really care much about it.
In some fantasy mangas I’ve read and some anime’s I’ve watched, there is this “abandoned for being weak” trope where MC’s powers and worth are misjudged thus causing them to be disowned/exiled only for later events reveal MC’s real capabilities and those who wronged them might’ve realized too late that they did an oopsie. Considering what do far happened in the series and the possibility of Stolas might be the only Goetia who can read stars and tell prophecies, I wouldn’t be surprised if a similar story trope were to occur in season 3 and 4. I am no oracle, but I hope the following prediction will come true; Prediction A: Andrealphus, or a different Goetia who has a similar job title, struggles to do Stolas’s duties because some prophecies in the stars can only be seen and deciphered by those who are worthy. (Basically, most prophecies only want to be deciphered by Stolas because he might so far be the only Goetia who is pure of heart) Prediction B: Stolas’s siphoned powers later to be too much for the poorly-maintained rings and burst out of its container before causing unspeakable mayhem across the other rings outside of Pride. And literally no one could stop it because the said magic, no longer bound by years of Stolas’s self-control, is seething with fury that rivals Satan’s wrath. Prediction C: Paimon (though he might never cared for Stolas), becomes furious upon learning someone is trying to assassinate the pre-cautionary heir, Octavia, and decided to go medieval on Andrealphus and Stella. Prediction D: Satan would sooner or later realize Andrealphus took advantage of his impatience and potentially doomed all of the inferno if they bothered to consider the true importance of Stolas’s work and potential. and/or Prediction E: Ozzie might consider taking both Stolas and Octavia under his wing and use his authority to protect them from rest of Goetia’s expectations and hypocrisy. …or something like that. (>w
Maybe Satan is like the lord of all imps (he said that "he created impkind"). So that would be why he decides the fate of Blitz over the other sins. EDIT: So I suppose Lucifer is the "king" of Hell and rules above all the other sins, but in practice, Luci's domain is limited to sinner, while Satan rules over the hellborn. Not sure where the other sins go in this structure, maybe they're just not the ones who make the law, dealing with other stuff.
I like the designs of the 2 other sins and how the sins are split with 3 boys and 3 girl not including lucifer. I like how Sloth was constantly falling asleep during the trial. Satan did say he was there before the golden angel fell which means that Ru and him where there for a long time and that why the other sins dont stand up to him as much. plus Satan has anger problems which he most likely Bullied his "Other" Siblings aka Sins.
Viv confirmed that Satan was lying on her twitter page. He was basically just boosting himself, especially since Lucifer isn’t there he can say whatever he wants. There was no hell before Lucifer fell. Him and Lilith created hell by giving Eve the apple, so Lucifer was always the ruler. Satan is probably just jealous of Lucifer.
A few things I loved: -The scene where Loona is about to burn the drawer but quickly tucks the photo into her shirt. I thought this was a great subtle way to show despite her attitude she still cares for the gang. -Satan at one point implies he created Imp kind, which combined with his horns makes me wonder if the other sins crafted the other lower demons in their image. -I love the scene where Andre berates Stella for not telling him about the deal between Stolas and Blitz. It's rather funny and shows how despite her cruelty she isn't really manipulative. Not because of any kindness but simply that she is more interested in quick gratification than a long drawn out destruction.
SO liked the episode but I’ve got notes sooooo if you’d like to see em here they are 1. I LOVED this concept. the idea of blitz and stolas being caught with the whole ordeal of the grimoire, and specifically the thing with blitz being accused of things like r@pe, and trying to assassinate stolas was really good info and a great use of the episode plot. (Obviously we know the r@pe thing isn’t true but it works well for it) (?) (I mean if satan really even cared-).BUT I personally was kind of annoyed because asmodeus HAS info on this- stolas came to him asking for an asmodien crystal because he loved blitz, but wanted him out of the contract they shared. THATS VALUABLE INFORMATION ON BOTH OF THE TAKES. he didnt STEAL the grimoire, and he didn’t force himself on stolas. Yeah he doesn’t know blitz well, but he knows stolas. I know he and bee do defend blitz and say he’s a good person, and bee doesn’t have as much info, but Ozzie does. I think that could have been used, even if the sins didn’t listen, it’s still a thing Ozzie knows. PLOT POINTS PEOPLE. it just feels like an unused scene from the oops episode that very well could have been brought back. 2. The song wasn’t, in MY opinion, the best placement. I think stolas could have instead addressed everything properly. Yknow, the whole “it’s my fault all of this happened, I gave the book to him, I was the one who started the transaction, I overheard my wife call on the assassin to come kill me, (because while it’s a joke that he doesn’t care Stella called someone a bout killing him because his wife is cray, HE DID OVERHEAR IT. SAME THING WITH THE OOPS EPISODE.) it’s not his fault, I should be punished.” Yknow something told out like that. (In much better explanation obviously, you get the gist.) or, if it HAD to be in song, I think they could have played out these explanations too. Or I think a look my way reprise in the end of this different song would have been a great callback. I know I keep on bringing up callbacks, but I’m a sucker for them, and it shows you really pay attention to the previous material given. 3. AND my final take while also talking about what I loved so much about this episode but also how it could have been fixed. I think the best part of this entire episode is the constant idea of blitz being fucked over for being an imp. every single second he’s being referred to as a lowly imp, a nasty representation of HIS kind, so on so on. Not to mention stolas not being executed for being a goetia, while blitz was going to be because he’s an imp and his life has “lesser” meaning. Watching the idea of stolas being simply let go with the punishment of his status being let go of while blitz was going to be EXECUTED ON TV, I honestly thought stolas was going to yell and get pissed off at everyone for being so horrible to not just blitz, but imp kind for being so narcissistic toward imps. Because, yknow, he cares so deeply for blitz, so much so he was going to get himself killed for him. I like the idea that stolas would have stood up for blitz AND imp kind because he’d start to realize from the way him and blitz are being treated and n the trial that it’s really messed up. Also addressing the casual way loona is treated in this episode, where she’s literally not only in shackles, she has a collar on, AND a muzzle. that just shows how she’s being treated too. And I feel like bee could have very well said something with stolas too. I know she stuck it to mammon, and we love her for that, but I feel like the imp racism along with some subtle hell hound racism could have been addressed. (Emily and Charlie style if you will). Kind of my issue with the stolas song too. I know it’s supposed to be a joke about blitz being a dummy who COULD NEVER plan any of that because he’s a stupid imp guy. Which don’t get me wrong, on paper, it sounds funny. Buttttt being sung by a guy who has previously IN context, and UNironically been racist toward imps, it just doesn’t sit right with me. Obviously he doesn’t think these things of blitz, but the thing is how much of that does he believe toward other imps??? and since sometimes viv and Brandon’s writing is questionable, how much of this is purposeful and how much isn’t going to be addressed, and it’s d simply a writing flaw? That’s why I’ve been iffy on whether or not to be confident on a full on stolas apology, AND I MEAN FULL ON. Because he’s done many things to screw blitz over. And I personally don’t think he learned anything from this trial, other than the fact that he truly can’t be without blitz. I don’t think he’s really addressed this racism problem in his head. not that he can do much now because he’s not a goetia, but I just think he should have. I don’t man. Love the concept, but I think these things should have been used more. Excited for the finale and what they’ll do. (If you read this good on you and let me know your thoughtssss)
I think it’s great that your letting others know about how you feel about the episode, personally I could never cos I think the whole thing was just amazing, and it’s usually quite hard to pick out all the little tit bits that could’ve made it better but I do agree with the fact that Ozzie could have brought up the fact the Stolas came to him about giving Blitz a crystal cos that would’ve probably changed things maybe who knows and the song was amazing as it was of course the only one in the episode but then again Stolas could’ve been a bit more specific on the facts about the imp kind and what he actually thinks about them and not just talking about Blitz, and ofc crying at the fact how loona was in not only shackles but a muzzle too like you also mentioned like seeing that is how hellhounds are treated bc of them being the lowest class is just downright disgusting 😭😭😭
You have some good points. I also have an issue with the song or more like the lines because we see Stolas in s1 treating Blitz like a lesser being and later in s2 he denies that behaviour as if he never thought of imps being lesser than him, as if he was clueless about the hierarchy in the first place. And then in the song we can see how he clearly knows that imps are being treated as lesser and tbh the song paints Stolas in a bad light imo, how can he know this and yet treat Blitz like he did in s1 and never admit doing anything wrong
True! That's why the writing always feels so shallow, imo. Plus, even if they address some issues, the way they approach it doesn't make sense narratively, doesn't feel organic or coherent. I've been watching Brandon's content for years now and I always felt he was a good writer, so this situation is shocking to me. :)
@ exactly. My thing with that is I genuinely can’t tell if this is apart of the plot, and it’s intentional that he doesn’t know this, and that it’ll be addressed, or if it’s a writing flaw and will never be brought up.
I believe that stolas will regain his powers one before the said 100 years, maybe the ice peacock, idk how to spell his name will die and with no one to take the place he gets em back, or somehow he proves himself innocent idk I just know we will see stolas with powers sooner than later
Probably the best episode of the season. Ive always been a sucker for news or courtroom episodes. Everything is there for a reason and i cant even find a issue with it really. 9.5/10 or just a 10/10
This was a great episode, seeing Moxxie, Millie and Loona shed tears on what they think is going to be Blitz’s last moment and then hugging him when he’s okay is heartwarming, it showcases that despite his negative traits, they all do care about Blitz, he’s the one who brought them all together, and showed that imps can make an impact in Hell, wonder what’s going to happen with I.M.P now that they have Ring-wide fame. Also Sloth sin is my favourite sin now!🐑
This episode is honestly the best out of both seasons, only one in contest (for me anyways) is Queen Bee’s episode (cotton candy was a catchy song on top of Kesha voicing her). Everything in this reminded me of the prime seasons of Red vs Blue, there was a bit of action, humor, storytelling and character development as well. My only issue with this episode is how short it is for such an important event…
I’m confused. What “more” did you expect Oz & Bee to do? They tried to speak up and was quickly out voted. So obviously them and Vassago were the only ones who gaf, but they still couldn’t do anything. Also, out of character? Yea they seem better than the other sins, but to the point they are apparently some social justice warriors or something? No! These are still sins. And they did all they could. Fizz begging Oz to do something and him doing nothing was the point cause HE COULDNT DO ANYTHING!!! What did you want? A full out brawl?? Over an imp Bee has only met once and while he might be his lovers bestie again Oz ain’t putting his life on the line for Blitz like let’s bffr 😂. The only one who could have saved them did, Stolas took the heat, cause he knew he was wrong since the beginning and definitely holds more blame. The thing I’m mostly focused on is Satan sayin he was the law even before Lucifer fell. So I wanna know how Lucifer seemingly took the crown 👑 and title as ruler of Hell over Satan. Tho I feel like the bulk of the answer is that Luci has his Angel status & abilities and just overpowers Satan (probably why he’s so mad and focused on strength) and while Luci has been in his depressed girl era he’s been out here talking his shit and acting like he top dog. And Satan is probably older & stonger then all the other Sins except Lucifer and so the other sins don’t fight back as much. Plus I think a true Sin war would wreck Hell worse then the exterminations ever could.
I really like Stolas's new design, I'm also hapoy Ke$ha was back and not Bee being re-voice acted, also, fuck Stella, that's not all, but it would be long to say what I think about that episode
But like...Stolas was there to care for Via MORE than Stella. I don't see Stella always coming to comfort her or singing to her or SHOWING HER THE STARS. Like Blitz's side seems better than before but now Stolas needs help with his side.
This episode make me cry everything was a masterpiece the writing is strong and the song when blitz and stolas duet and everything was amazing luci chair is empty with the duck on it😭
Wouldn’t Andrealphus flatten Blitz easily? I hate Andre’s character but he’s pretty powerful and without Stolas to back Blitzø up he’d be toast! I really want to see Stolas get his power back and squash Andrealphus somehow!
It was so good, but the only complaint I have is about Stolas. Once again he rushes into something reckless without once thinking of the impact it could have on his vulnerable and clearly dependant daughter. He lays down his life for his (Could you even describe it as this?) lover despite knowing how much it hurts Octavia to see him choose blitz over her. It's her worst fear to lose her dad. Possibly worst of all, he leaves her with Stella. I say possibly due to the way Octavia sought comfort from her mother. You could argue that with how easily she gave in, their relationship isn't all that negative. At least in comparison to her dad's... I'm assuming that the only abuse she's endured is neglect from her mother; You can't really dislike someone without knowing them all that much. Something to remember is that Stella is still her mother. You always have that underlying paternal bond, even if it may be secretly one sided as implied by Stella's smirk. That kind of thing can only be broken if something terrible happens. Thoughts? Am I misinterpreting?
It pretty much solidified the fact that Stolas is a terrible father to me, IMO. This is why his daughter Octavia thinks that he loves his mistress more than her because he keeps going out of his way to meet him and use every single opportunity he has to do that. The whole episode is just the consequences of his actions it's just straight-up karma he knows he's breaking hell's law and he still does it anyway shows that he prioritizes his desires over responsibilities idc what anyone says or makes excuses for Stolas he has no self-awareness or the fact that his actions are harmful to the people around him and this is the third time he ditches his daughter for Blitz and that fact makes it really difficult for me to sympathize with him I may feel bad for him but I don't sympathize with him AT ALL. Oh, you remember that episode when he divorced his Stella, and he said he did it all 'for her.' Look at this episode and tell me he did it 'for her' and not for Blitz. He doesn't think of how his action might affect Octavia.
@@YoungStarship I'm starting to lose fate since helluva verse bends its back every single time to make Stolas look good and sympathetic he never faces consequences for his previous shitty actions while also bashing Blitz at the same time. Either way I hope to see developments from here and not some bs like Stolas not serving his 100 years sentence because the writer says so.
@@CarrotSpunk. maybe after his downfall it will be the time for stolas to face consequences. from what it's seen (and written by some yt comments), this signals the end of blitz' redemption arc
@YoungStarship From my current understanding, it seems that the only way for him to be together with Blitz and be 'a thing' is for him to see Blitz as an equal and to understand him on a deeper level. It wouldn't work if he was still a noble it seems he's willing to be with Blitz but he doesn't understand Blitz as a person or see him as an equal even if he's not doing it intentionally but it's clear that a power imbalance exists between them and the tons of miscommunication is going to be their downfall of the relationship even if they're dating or not. This can work since he's so always comfortable in his noble position and ignorant of the mistreatment of Imps, and the only one willing to help him is Blitz. Once a few developments happen there and here, and he sees what type of life Blitz has lived, maybe only then can the character development for Stolas be like. I don't like Stolas as a character but it doesn't mean I don't like a good character arc.
It was a good episode overall all but man do I have some problems with it: - What was even the point of a trial if you're not gonna do the real trial? - The stakes were getting progressively lower throughout the episode. Everyone could die and at the end everyone could go free - The constant plot twists were so confusing to me. The verdict of the trial was changed like 3 times - The song wasn't really good. Look My Way could eat this one on breakfast - They're once again undoing their breakup that happened in previous episodes...like two times - The pacing was on the speedrun level
If only this take was more popular, we'd probably see a peak in quality sooner than later. Instead nothing but constant praise of above average to terrible writting. Why cruel world, WHY??!!
@Hesgot_apoint Boy I have a field day with this episode at least on reddit so at least I'm doing my part. At first my short review for the episode was "A convoluted mixed bag but still good" but the more I analyze and think about it the more I dislike it. So many characters had their IQ points reduced just for this episode lol
Fantastic episode! Great designs of the Sins and incredible music! Heartwarming interactions with Blitzo and Stolas...Blitzo being hailed a hero for his race...Stolas dealing with his karma... Now in Sinsmas, Blitzo and Stolas have to rescue Octavia from Andrealphus and Stella...
I would love to see season 3 being about Stolas working at IMP. With Blitz training him since he doesn't have powers anymore and him maybe being in a secretary role like Luna or budgeting since he likes organizing and reading. It would also be a call back to when Blitz said that he would hire Stolas for his company when they were kids
i'm glad you liked it. i personally didn't like the pacing, it felt breakneck. plus the episode switched from drama to comedy in a millisecond over and over.
I feel this episode was a bit rushed. I love the other deadly sins(the 3 we haven't seen yet) designs. I'm glad Stolas rushed to save Blitz in time but I was not expecting for him to take all the blame. Like picture this: why would a goetia prince hire an assassin to kill him when Stolas could have done it himself(i'm not saying he's suicidal, he is clearly unhappy with everything)? Stolas should have grilled Striker in front of everyone and if Satan is the enforcer of hell's rules could he not have a few envy demons get inside of each criminals minds to reveal the truth to everyone so the accused wouldn't have to die? I gotta a feeling that Stella is going to trick Octavia into not believing her dad about everything(she knows some of Blitz and knows he wouldn't do anything to her father) and could even prevent her from seeing her father or talking to him on the phone. Hope we see more of Vassago cause he seems like a real good guy who looks out for Stolas and believes everyone should have rights, maybe Vassago will go see Stolas(hope they are good friends) and try to help Stolas and IMP from everyone who is shaming them-not so much IMP but more of everyone hating Stolas, and help Stolas see Via(if Stella or her brother get involved).
I love Belphagor's design! But *Leviathan* ...the Sin I was most excited for ended up looking like THAT?! They had all the creative freedom to make a horrific hydra-like sea monster covered in eyes and, as far as I'm concerned, they humungously dropped the ball!
OMG! I just noticed stolas was paralleled to husk. When he thinks he’s being executed, he gets the same blush that has has like the dark blush. Probably symbolizing his feeling of worthlessness and lack of control. Also noticed that blitz cried like he cried when his mother was dying when he was going to die. I also just noticed that he literally had a little devil on his shoulder. That’s sort of funny.
I think the final episode will still have character-driven material. I think Stolas realizes what a rift he’s caused between himself and Octavia and that she’s not going to forgive him easily for ‘leaving’ her like that. Maybe it will be resolved, but probably not. Stolas is going to have a lot of consequences to deal with.
Dude I got so excited to the point I started abusing one of my plushies that was on my bed. That plush was expensive btw 😭😭 Anyways, mastermind was amazing and I love how much more it expands the story and world Also Satan looks AMAZING 🤩
This episode made me so fricken depressed it’s not even funny. The ending was so bittersweet and I’m genuinely worried about Octavia And What Will Happen To Her, But This Episode Is One Of The Best Episode Ever.
my only criticism about the episode was that it was too short. If the drew out the stolas part of the trial a bit more or had more of andrealphus scheming behind the scenes or show more of the deadly sins, then it would be an S-tier episode. Also leviathan is hot (the head on the left hand side) also are the heads two separate people or do they share the same mind.
Fun fact : the whole viedo is just stolas saving bliz from his fate and when bliz was about to get his head cut out i noticed that his sister wasn't in the episode that makes me believe that barbie doesn't care if his brother dies which is sad to me😢😢
6:50 i dont think it will be a side episode because if you look at the trailer for season 2 part 2 youll see an octavia scene that wasnt in this episode looking emotional and like a song
@Jules416 oh I forgot about that, it seems like there is mainly a goetia plot for sinsmas instead of a side episode which makes sense for the season finale
@Tectonic-ne4dy Yes🤩. We all know it's called "Sinsmas," which is a clear play on "Christmas." Which makes sense, cause why would hellborns celebrate Christ, the son of God? I imagine it'll be a fight scene. I trust the amazing Helluva team in this. Also, if I remember correctly, I think "Andre" will turn into a bigger form of himself. Maybe a giant🤔? Ya know. In order to attack and beat Stolitz as fast as possible🤜🏽💥💫 Idk, we'll see.
im ready for the next episode. rewatching the trailer, the only main scenes we haven't seen is andrealphus getting pissed in front of stolas' old frozen mansion and blitz holding a dagger to protect stolas. this will be fun.
I think that Satan is in charge of this trial, and hell, for a couple of reasons. One, he says that he ruled before even Lucifer fell, so he's probably still the de facto ruler since Lucifer doesn't take part in ruling at all. Also, since an imp perpetrated the 'crime' that's being decided on, that would fall under Satan's domain as he mostly controls the imp race in hell. Or at the very least, most imps come from the wrath ring. This authority would extend to anyone involved in the same crime, hence why Stolas has his fate decided by Satan. That's why none of the other sins or goetia can weigh in on the decision at all, even though they all have authority in their respective rings/legions. Idk, just thoughts, still really excited to see how the racial hierarchy gets toppled in this show!
I loved everything about this episode, and it's my favorite so far. I just wish we had seen the other two sins take a slightly bigger roll That aside I like Leviathan and Belphagor's designs and the little nod to Lucifer And the little kiss Blitz gave Stolas at the end Also, I was waiting eagerly for your review

It felt like Satan was saying that before Lucifer fell, Satan himself was in charge of Hell. If that is the case, it would make sense why the other Sins just defer to his judgment
He was the ruler of all forces of evil, but lucifer was the creator of hell and lillith embraced it
@@wildguy4773yeah lucis and satans relationship imo is literally like:So,ill borrow you my stuff and you will get it back in one piece, okay?
vivziepop made a tweet about this
Apparently, Viv said on Twitter that Satan was bullshitting when he claimed to be the first ruler before Lucifer.
At the end, Stolas looked so broken. I feel so sorry for him
It kinda reminds me of the scene where David has a blank broken stare when he loses Maine

Even if Vassago wasn’t as important in this episode it was still amazing to see him! My favorite part of his was when he got excited about stolas singing to explain everything 🤣
Viz said that vassago is good, so in the last episode I pretty certain he will play a major role.
This episode was SO PEAK. It's nice that we got to see the other sins and more goetia demons.
This is probably the best episode so far. We finally saw all the deadly sins. We finally saw Blitz and Stolas really getting closer. We finally saw Luna really love her father.
We actually didn't see them all considering Belphegor wasn't there
Nvm
We finally got the story going.
@Kaijuenjoyer-nv7qn that indeed
@@AzraelMorningstar333 she was, just sleeping through most of it, she was seeting next to Beelzabub
It gives off a real vibe of "They won the battle, but they haven't won the war."
And knowing Stella and Andrealphus they're definitely still not done with Stolas and IMP yet.
One notable thing about the trial scene - Loona is muzzled the entire time.
Unlike the Imps, Loona, a mere Hellound, is not permitted to speak at all.
This was honestly my favorite episode can’t wait for Sinsmas
4:58
I think the reason why Satan is so high up on the hierarchy is because in the episode Satan says “I’ve ruled the endless dark since long before the golden angel’s fall” That would mean that Lucifer wasn’t the first deadly sin and that satan was originally most likely the ruler of hell before Lucifer fell down
Edit: this was before I found out about the tweets and when the episode just came out, chill out y’all,
He probably ruled all forces of evil in the shadows till lucifer and lillith got banished and lucifer made hell while lillith embraced it, and since lucifer is probably busy with more important things in the pride ring(or making new ducks) satan got the title as hell's law and probably second on command of lucifer till charlie takes her spot as the queen
Viv confirmed Satan was lying about that.

@@dukcboy912 hellvuaboss/hazbin hotel doesn’t take all its inspiration from Christianity. Also, I grew up religious most of my life and spent most of my childhood in the church. (Also my dad was a pastor for 20+ years so yes I know “a little bit” about the Bible)

In some fantasy mangas I’ve read and some anime’s I’ve watched, there is this “abandoned for being weak” trope where MC’s powers and worth are misjudged thus causing them to be disowned/exiled only for later events reveal MC’s real capabilities and those who wronged them might’ve realized too late that they did an oopsie. Considering what do far happened in the series and the possibility of Stolas might be the only Goetia who can read stars and tell prophecies, I wouldn’t be surprised if a similar story trope were to occur in season 3 and 4. I am no oracle, but I hope the following prediction will come true;
Prediction A: Andrealphus, or a different Goetia who has a similar job title, struggles to do Stolas’s duties because some prophecies in the stars can only be seen and deciphered by those who are worthy. (Basically, most prophecies only want to be deciphered by Stolas because he might so far be the only Goetia who is pure of heart)
Prediction B: Stolas’s siphoned powers later to be too much for the poorly-maintained rings and burst out of its container before causing unspeakable mayhem across the other rings outside of Pride.
A few things I loved:
-The scene where Loona is about to burn the drawer but quickly tucks the photo into her shirt.
Stella is super manipulative, she is just dumb
This episode felt so dang short yet so long and may be one of my new favorites up there with Harvest Moon Festival.

I just don’t want Stella to corrupt Via
I believe that stolas will regain his powers one before the said 100 years, maybe the ice peacock, idk how to spell his name will die and with no one to take the place he gets em back, or somehow he proves himself innocent idk I just know we will see stolas with powers sooner than later
6:30 Ah I see what you did there 😂
Probably the best episode of the season. Ive always been a sucker for news or courtroom episodes. Everything is there for a reason and i cant even find a issue with it really. 9.5/10 or just a 10/10
BRO THIS EP MADE ME CRY BECAUSE OF BLITZ ALMOST BEING EXECUTED
SAME 😭
THAT IS CALLED ATTEMPTED UNLAWFUL EXECUTION
I mostly cried at seeing IMPs reaction to blitz almost dying😭loonas reaction broke me do bsdly idk how ill ever recover from tis episode😢
So badly*
This episode somehow surpassed Truth Seekers as the GOAT. The part where Stolas and Blitzø duet was absolutely phenomenal.
Vassago was very underused but it was still a good ep
This was a great episode, seeing Moxxie, Millie and Loona shed tears on what they think is going to be Blitz’s last moment and then hugging him when he’s okay is heartwarming, it showcases that despite his negative traits, they all do care about Blitz, he’s the one who brought them all together, and showed that imps can make an impact in Hell, wonder what’s going to happen with I.M.P now that they have Ring-wide fame.
Also Sloth sin is my favourite sin now!🐑
It was nice seeing verosika’s shock at seeing blitz getting preped for execution I thought it was a nice touch after their interaction in Apology Tour
Vassago speaking Spanish made my Hispanic ass happy
Me tooo❤
I really like Stolas's new design, I'm also hapoy Ke$ha was back and not Bee being re-voice acted, also, fuck Stella, that's not all, but it would be long to say what I think about that episode
But like...Stolas was there to care for Via MORE than Stella. I don't see Stella always coming to comfort her or singing to her or SHOWING HER THE STARS. Like Blitz's side seems better than before but now Stolas needs help with his side.
This episode make me cry everything was a masterpiece the writing is strong and the song when blitz and stolas duet and everything was amazing
luci chair is empty with the duck on it😭
We still have the Blitzø V. Andrealphus fight to see
I really wonder how it will play out
Wouldn’t Andrealphus flatten Blitz easily?
@@CarrotSpunk. yeah that flaw of his continues, but we have two more seasons so with the hopes of it being solved
It was a good episode overall all but man do I have some problems with it:
- What was even the point of a trial if you're not gonna do the real trial?
- The stakes were getting progressively lower throughout the episode. Everyone could die and at the end everyone could go free
- The constant plot twists were so confusing to me. The verdict of the trial was changed like 3 times
- The song wasn't really good. Look My Way could eat this one on breakfast
- They're once again undoing their breakup that happened in previous episodes...like two times
- The pacing was on the speedrun level
If only this take was more popular, we'd probably see a peak in quality sooner than later. Instead nothing but constant praise of above average to terrible writting. Why cruel world, WHY??!!
@Hesgot_apoint Boy I have a field day with this episode at least on reddit so at least I'm doing my part. At first my short review for the episode was "A convoluted mixed bag but still good" but the more I analyze and think about it the more I dislike it. So many characters had their IQ points reduced just for this episode lol
I personally loved this episode
The next episode is going to be about Octavia, judging from the trailer scenes we haven't seen yet.
this was easly my favorite episode of s2!
the scene were blitz said goodbye to his crew/Loona made me emotional.
I loved the mini duet with Stolas and Blitzø
And so continues the tradition of Spongebob Squarepants for some freaking reason having the most professional court room setting in cartoons.
i'm glad you liked it. i personally didn't like the pacing, it felt breakneck. plus the episode switched from drama to comedy in a millisecond over and over.
agreed
Nice that they had that family feel near the end the day after Thanksgiving. And now Stolas is part of it. I can see Octavia moving in with them too
Can't wait to see Stryker, Stella and Andrephalus get what they deserve.
Same here.
I love Belphagor's design!
But *Leviathan* ...the Sin I was most excited for ended up looking like THAT?! They had all the creative freedom to make a horrific hydra-like sea monster covered in eyes and, as far as I'm concerned, they humungously dropped the ball!
Something that doesn't make sense to me is that Striker has a scar on his left eye but he looks at the explosion with his right eye
It's likely Octavia will be next on Stella and her brother's hit-list before she's off age to inherit her father's titles & wealth & powers etc.
**Cutely rewatches the episode just to see the weird red owl with the spanish accent again bc im in love now**
isn’t he a parrot-😭🤚
@r4tp4ck I have no idea 😀👍 (and I didn't mean I'm actually in love with him either, but I rly like his characters personality now)
Even when it’s supposed to be “serious”, they can’t help but be immature.
IT WAS SO BAD WTF IS AYYLMAO ON ABOUT
Yeah it's terrible the worst thing I've ever seen.
it's very subjective tbh I also was fine with the joke placement in this episode
As soon as Andrealphus stated the case against Blitzo, I said "He wants Stolas to show up and take the blame."
BWF
I fell like there is something big happening in the last episode. Can't wait. 👀
That plush was expensive btw 😭😭
Anyways, mastermind was amazing and I love how much more it expands the story and world
Also Satan looks AMAZING 🤩
Plus Blitz and Stolas being attacked. Most likely by Andrealphus!
@Jules416 oh I forgot about that, it seems like there is mainly a goetia plot for sinsmas instead of a side episode which makes sense for the season finale
@Tectonic-ne4dy Yes🤩.
Ya know. In order to attack and beat Stolitz as fast as possible🤜🏽💥💫
Idk, we'll see.
im ready for the next episode. rewatching the trailer, the only main scenes we haven't seen is andrealphus getting pissed in front of stolas' old frozen mansion and blitz holding a dagger to protect stolas. this will be fun.
On twitter, VivIepop confirmed Lucifer actually has been the only ruler. Satan is pretty much lying out of his ass
I loved this episode!
I loved everything about this episode, and it's my favorite so far. I just wish we had seen the other two sins take a slightly bigger roll
That aside I like Leviathan and Belphagor's designs and the little nod to Lucifer
And the little kiss Blitz gave Stolas at the end
Also, I was waiting eagerly for your review
The whole episode is awesome. The ending is extremely beautiful and heart felt. I actually was tearing up at the end. It is just so beautifully done.
