She’s really great and unbeatable during those time. I’m glad there’s RUclips to compiled or keep those performances. Thank you for your reaction of Ms. Regine V. She’s still doing good despite being 54.❤❤❤
@@quinetdavid6864 No one is quite as cute as Regine when she misremembers or misreads lyrics. "But lolanenoh... you made me you now... cannot complete!" 😆🥰
Her voice at that time was too piercing, not my fave., but definitely a revenge performance after her poor 1st delivery of this song! Edit: The growls were prominent this era, experimental stages of her voice as it's quite popular in pop.
I also think the “piercing” sound probably has to do with the choice of mixing. Probably because of poor sound output on tvs back then so they had to turn the treble and mids up 😂 to compensate and since these are mostly just fan records from vhs and stuff vs remastered performances released by studios in the west.
@@classically_ivan i don't think that squillo is applicable here, bec. this is a opera technique which is different to Regine's technique under pop music, but Regine has developed squillo in her 30s and most prominent during her peak. The way she alter her belts with depth and brightness to have a ringing sound is definitely squillo.
@@herneychienverneryia4020 therefore, it is applicable. squillo is both a technique and a result. in opera singing, it is considered a technique used to produce a specific resonant trumpet-like sound. on the other hand, it is a result of a well-developed voice that possesses the ability to produce the ringing and piercing sound naturally.

She really is still thriving :)
@@fashionblank Exactly! Thank you for loving her too. She’s my personal idol since I was 7. Good luck.❤️❤️❤️
Fun fact! She's been doing her make up ever since she started her singing career. She started learning make up when she was 12 I believe.
She is doing great :D

What? Omg :'D
Our Asia's Songbird is dyslexic. She may get confused with the words but not with the tune/tones!
This is her comeback.
