I want you to know how much I appreciate you showing ALL your escapades, not just the ones that are smooth and polished, so to speak. You don't try to give the impression that managing these little beauties is easy peasy, smooth and slick. You let us see the ones that are a little more... uncooperative. The ones that weren't interested in hubba hubba time, the ones that bolt and have to be "wrangled and Lassoed", and the community group that didn't turn out so well. I thoroughly enjoy your presentations! (The look on your face when that one rebellious fellow disappeared entirely was priceless.)

There are so many people out there like me. I've never like spiders and I am fascinated by these tarantula feeding videos and all the funny crazy stuff that goes on in the dark Den. Exotic Lair cracks me up. Tarantula cat is adorable. All of this stuff is just so amazing to me. Am I still afraid of spiders hell fucking yes but I'm learning to understand them more and I even want to get a jumping spider because those are adorable.
People are just scared of things they dont know and the only thing most people know about spiders is that they are afraid of them. Its cool to see that people show interest in these little creatures and also learn something about them. Its a good thing for spiders in general and also prevents people of getting a heart attack when they see a spider. Learn more about them and them get one, they are fun to observe even tho they dont do much.
deakel18 same here, I have never owned a tarantula or nothing that sported more than 4 legs, but I always look forward to his videos, they are always very interesting.
@@susanmartin3762 I am exactly the same! I've always been terrified of spiders, all insects actually. But about 2 weeks ago I watched a tarantula video on RUclips (don't know how that happened lol) and since then I've been binge watching exotics lair, tarantula kat & dark den. I've now found myself completely fascinated with t's, to the point where I'm now obsessing over wanting to get one as a pet and longing to hold one! It's crazy how our perceptions of things can change so quickly and dramatically.
Have any of you ever seen the video of the man who is taking fur balls off of the feet of a wolf spider? That little eight legged dude stood there while this man used a scalpel and a metal ruler to cut the fur balls off of his little feet. He used the ruler to rest under the spiders...foot? (I don't know if spiders have feet ) but anyways. The spider didn't run and it didn't attack him ...it just quietly stood there and even lifted up his legs with the Hairball on it to make it easier for the man to cut it off. It was one of the most zen-like things I've ever seen where a man was helping a spider and the spider knew it and let him do it
At the end he felt so happy it was over he threw everything like idc anymore it's done n dusted 😂😂 love it

The Dark Den I think it’s a GREAT video to record, because it shows what responsible ownership is REALLY like, and how some
times issues DO pop up unexpectedly! (It gives people a ‘head’s up’ so they can have a backup plan in the back of their minds!!!!)
There are allot of people on youtube doing Tarantula stuff, havent seen all, but some. You are my favorite. Your personality, the way you make me laugh and the fact that, i ALWAYS LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERYTIME I WATCH UR VIDS. I even learn from re-watching. Ive had my T for a month now. He molted after a first got him and hes just been an eating machine since. Who knew 20yrs ago that today this dumb white boy from america would learn enough about tarantulas from someone who lived the whole way across the pond, that he could make the 2nd T ive owned a success. I've had pretty serious arachnophobia for as long as I can remember, but watching so many of your videos has made me more interested in them and less scared. Before, I wouldn't have been able to look at close-up shots, and while my arachnophobia definitely isn't totally cured, your videos have made me realize that spiders and tarantulas are fascinating creatures. You are so loving towards all your animals, which is really nice to see! Have a great end of the year!
I always have a smile on my face after watching your videos. Spiders scare the hell out of me, but you make it worth it. I am from San Francisco, California and I never see tarantulas.

Me too. I am an arachnophobe who because of Petko now owns several Ts. I still scream like a little girl when I get a big house spider come in, but hey, I only had one this year instead of 10. I wonder if they sense the Ts🤔
@@W._Langman petko has influenced alot of people in a good way by the looks of it. He does make the Ts look alot less intimidating in my eyes👍🏻😁
I had a crazy time of my own last week! Our stromatopelma calceatum was gravid when we got her a couple of months ago, and I found out by discovering lovely little slings all over the walls of my critter room! Thankfully it was the second half of a double clutch, so the 26 I found were likely the whole clutch. Good times!!
