From someone who barely gets an hour a week to play / practice. It's been a great 12months & these lessons put a big smile on my face. Only now in 2019 I'm able to pick them up & follow so much quicker . Forever grateful , again .
Man bought me a very nice 3 string the other day- As like you I play this song on 6 string Guitar- but the way you just explained this on 3 string is Fantastic !! especially the slide riff- I've added this to my list. Thanks so much man
@@unclemarkscigarboxguitarlesson Thanks for all the great lessons. I left something in your tip jar and encourage everyone else who watches your channel to donate also. "You can't go through life with catchers mitts on both hands." Thanks for what you do.
It doesn't just happen in the bar. That "one day" happened at the lake this weekend. Just noodling around, and my smart-ass brother-in-law calls out "play Freebird!" - only without the $100 dollar bill. So I had to give him the hairy eyeball look and come back to practice. Like David Hatfield below, picking it up and following are happening much faster these days. Thanks!
I'm learning a whole lot of stuff from you man! Thank you lots. Would you be willing to teach me Mississippi Queen? I can't find 3 string tabs for it anywhere.
when you strum the D and the C are you only strumming the top string or all 3? mine sounds terrible strumming all three. are these supposed to be single notes or a chords?
This depends on what part of the song you’re playing. If the intro solo, single notes. If the song part, then whole chords. If you could be a bit more specific, I’d be glad to help.
I'm not able to tab...... start with the G note 12th fret 3rd finger and play the box ( G F D ) then shift. Take it slow, there's no hurry here....feel, listening and patience will be your guide. (I come from the days of records and moving the stylus and listening. The dark ages)

@@unclemarkscigarboxguitarlesson open -7-9 and then others and repeat ... If that's right, I just need work on rhythm and timing.
