WOW, Hello Nina 😊. What a great video and collection of Orchids. I love your tours. There's so much inspiration and information. Thank you so much, sending love ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ your way.
🌸🥷🏼Bob San 😍🙌🏼🤸🏼♀️🥰💐 good afternoon from a SUNNY Spain! Shocker! 😆 spent the morning doing little odd jobs with the sun on my back... tempted to take my sweater off, but that is too dangerous this time of year. However, having the sun while chasing scale, made the task so much more pleasant 🙌🏼 So appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule to already have a look see as to what is going on, and has not been going on. 🤞🏼 that my gamble with the orchids pays off. Time will tell. I hope that I don't have too many disclaimers come Spring 🙏🏼 hope you are already having a fabYOUlous FriYAY 🌸🥷🏼Cariño San! I so appreciate you and send mucho love your way 🫶🏼❤️🌸
😍Hi!!🎄 it is so good to see you!! I hope that you are doing well 🫶🏼 ooohhh!! That makes 2 of us... that aphyllum is my absolute go to in the coming 8 weeks, because, ya never know if nubbins want to show themselves a little earlier, right? 🤪 thank you so much for watching 🫶🏼 hope you are having a beautiful weekend already ❤️🌸
😍HI! 🎄 thank you so very much for your time on this busy weekend! I appreciate the support and your kind comment as well. Hope you are doing well 🫶🏼 wishing you a fabYOUlous weekend ❤️🌸
Isn't it great? So many sunny days on a row, so much better than last year 😅 No more complaining about Rain, we got it all in november ❤ Night temperatures a bit too cold for the orchids but yours are taking it with a smile as it shows. Blooms all winter, fantastic 👌💃💝🌺❤️🥰
FFF 😍🙌🏼🤸🏼♀️🥰🎄 good afternoon, meine liebe Freundin! YES!! Today was another sunny day! Vaya sorpresa 😅 been hobbling around the patio just to make sure that I get some of it on my back. The wind was a bit chilly though, so, I could not fully enjoy it. Still, blue skies any day and those few orchids that I bring outside, certainly enjoy it 🥳 we are in for a treat with the chao praya! Excite! Thank you, amiga mia, for watching 🫶🏼 I hope you are having a relaxing day ❤️ thinking of you 🌸
Denise 😍🎄 Hello beautiful! 🫶🏼 imagine that?! 😊 even forgot to add the Masai Red spikes.... IF this works throughout the winter, then in 2025 I am going to risk more orchids outside and see what happens. The indoor ones are teetering on the brink of extinction, and if they aren't, they surely look like it. 🥲 still... so far, so good with those that have to stay outside ... vamos a ver 🤞🏼 hope you are getting yourself pampered from left to right, head to toe! 😘 thank you so much for watching you wonderful human being 🫶🏼❤️🌸
🌸🥷🏼Samurai Julie San 😍🙌🏼🤸🏼♀️🥰💐 its SUNNY again today... unbelievable 😆😅 it was scale maintenance / hunting / prevention day outside today and it was wonderful to have the warmth of the sun on my back. Sighh!!! 😅 yes, I found some 😤 got rid of them 💪🏼 nobile nubbins are always so much fun... that little Pocket Lover is going absolutely mental as well 🥳 IF my needs must experiment works for such a terrible fall / winter, I may just have less and less to worry about in the coming winters... time will tell. We still have 2 more months of these conditions, I hope that the longer it drags on, that the orchids outside won't weaken. 🤞🏼 I hope you are having a wonderful day! Enjoying your amazing sanctuary 😍 OH! MY! WORD! I LOVE IT!! ALL OF IT!! 🙌🏼😍 such a great effort and if I may say so I AM SO PROUD OF YOU for this amazing transformation and accomplishment 🥳🙌🏼 wonderful!! Thank you so much for taking time out of your relaxing day (I hope it was one of those) to watch this video 🫶🏼 and thank you so much for being such an amazing wonderful FRIEND 🥹 I am so lucky 😘🫶🏼❤️🌸
Hi Nina! What a beautiful day in Spain! They surely enjoyed the rays 😎. Fingers crossed on your first time bloomers. It’s so discouraging to wait year after year. It will be this year 🎉! I hope the warm sun rays sunk into your body and felt great! You deserve it! Take care ❤
🌸🥷🏼BeBe San 😍🙌🏼🤸🏼♀️🥰🎄 so, my apologies for this late acknowledgement of your comment. RUclips is giving me a hard time with what is going on in the upload and info studio where I am supposed to be able to see 'everything'. I would like to think that YT is glitching again, but that would mean 5 weeks of glitch... so, I did not get to see this comment until now! My apologies. It has been a couple of nice sunny days, back to back, since this video. Just wonderful! The nights are super chilly though, and yesterday I forgot to bring my Lou Snearys indoors as well as my Twinkle and tuberculata 😣 They still look green, so 🤞🏼 that the sun rays are going to warm THEM up enough to not have incurred too much damage. Once I have plucked up courage, I am going to go and check how they are doing. Not now... I don't want to see cell damage just yet 😬😅 silly silly me! Thank you so much for watching this video 🫶🏼 wishing you the most beautiful of Mondays ❤️🌸
0:38 The Epicyclia Serena O'Neill that I got in February came with a growth like this that I thought was going to be a flower spike but it never continued growing or doing anything else. 10:27 I can't wait to see this one! 13:00 "Natural fertilizer" is one way to put it! 😁
😍Hi Joe 🎄 oh... I hope that 'movement' of a spike was only halted because of shipping and acclimating period, that it did not dry out. There is still hope for it to get a grow on, as long as it doesn't frazzle. However, having had the orchid arrive with that sign, guarantees it is a blooming size orchid, which sometimes we buy but don't get 👍🏼 I am a little gutted that the maxima did not bloom at all in 2024. It has grown well, but all the overcast days were too much for it to develop any buds this time around. The sheaths are still green, so there is hope 😉 yes, I am still percolating with the subject of sheaths, green / brown, blooms / no blooms etc. I have opened a file, starting with thoughts / notes just to start trying to build on what I have noticed in my collection in the past 🤞🏼 I have so much of that stuff... if the birdies were penguins, I could call it guano 🤣 thank you, Joe, for putting a smile on my face! I appreciate you so much for taking time out of your day to watch and comment 🫶🏼 have a wonderful day ❤️🌸
😍Hola Guapa 🎄 woohoo!!! We will have some more color at some point in time 🥳 have to keep my elbows and arms in, so as not to snap any spikes... also, 🤞🏼 the birdies do not use any as a perch 😆 thank you so much for watching, lovely lady 🫶🏼 have a beautiful day ❤️🌸
Holly, hi 😍🎄 I cannot tell you just how encouraging it is to see that the orchids are doing what they are doing. I wonder.... IF, those that should, in actual fact be indoors, IF they can handle the outdoor night temps over an extended period of time (3 months to go) then, my winter anxieties could be very much reduced. Because... next winter, I may just be even more courageous and leave others outside. The indoor ones are struggling more because of the lack of light, than the outdoor ones that have to deal with cold temperatures 🤔 vamos a ver... it is still too early to make that call. Not even halfway through the cold months, but I am hopeful and REALLY looking forward to seeing the ones that are in spike, bloom. Keeping elbows and arms in check to not snap anything off 😆 thank you so very much for watching! I hope that you are having a relaxing day. Know that I appreciate your support 🫶🏼❤️🌸
Shirley, hi 😍🎄 I am so happy to have these here! At least, I know that I can grow large vandas on the patio... if the copper debacle had not happened, we would still be surrounded by more of these beauties. Still, I am so grateful for this totem pole and it is going to be glorious!! 🙌🏼🥳 right back at you, lovely lady, Merry Christmas to you and your's!! Thank you so much for being such an amazing support here, for the friendship and kindness that you have so generously brought to my life! You are truly appreciated 🫶🏼 wishing you a wonderful day ❤️🌸
Buenos dias , 🎉❤ its my first winter with all my 80 orchids 😅 so I have daily field trips bringing them in and out here in florida since it gets down to lower 40F and with high humidity ugh.
HI 😍🎄 it is so good to see you! I hope you are doing well 🫶🏼 that was the number of orchids that I moved in and out the past winters. I have since lost many, and other pots indoors are too large, but, it can be done and the upside is, handling the pots every day keeps the bugs at bay because we look at them on the daily 👍🏼 sometimes it got old, when I could do it, but the labor of love was more important than being annoyed at the fact that it had to be done 😆 thank you so much for watching! I hope you are having a great weekend already. Know that I truly appreciate your support 🫶🏼❤️🌸
Collection is looking good. Did the deluge of rain set any back or cause their demise? Lava Burst seems to be loving the scrubby pad!!!! Wishing you love and blooms and prosperity. 💕🌺 happy holidays
😍Debbiiieee 🎄 hi! I am not too disappointed with what is going on outside, especially with the orchids that are still exposed to the night temps 🤞🏼 I get away with it! Yes, I have had casualties inside because of the flooding... the high humidity, the floor not drying out, the airflow being non existent, as well as no light for 8 weeks. So, inside, the orchids are really having a tough time, some are looking like they just want to forget about existing (I know how they feel 😬) Me lovah the lava burst! If all the attempted rescues would have responded like this, the collection would still be quite extensive. Maybe I should use more scrubby pads in my collection. The oncidiums are being decimated by the tiny scale, so they are NOT coming inside. Even though they are now scale free for a while, there is something in their bite that takes out leaves. Weird!! Thank you so so much for your time this busy weekend! 🫶🏼 I appreciate you watching and commenting ❤️ Happy Holidays, right back at you, lovely lady 🌸🎄
well, if your Ansellia are showing spikes and mine isn't showing anything yet, I guess it isn't ready to bloom yet. This brat is going to be like your OG and take its dear sweet time apparently. OMG, the Cymbidium is still there. I will be so happy if you're able to recover it because it does have very lovely blooms. Just keep it a more manageable size this time. And if this is your last video before Christmas, then allow me to wish you a Merry Christmas in advance.
Don Miguel 🥰🎄 My OG ansellia was a real head scratcher, for sure! I think it needs to be on the drier side throughout the winter, so as to bloom better. I am keeping all of them out of their masks this winter and just sporadically flush some water through. See if that makes any difference to the bloom performance. It just took forever 😆 I shall keep my fingers crossed that your's will come around sooner than mine ever did 😘 IF the cymbidium can get that new growth to grow some roots, we shall be well on our way to maintain it's presence on the patio. And yes, definitely not going to allow it to grow so huge again. Rather have several in smaller pots than what I allowed to happen in the past year. I have been warned, and if I get a second chance, I have learned my lesson. 👍🏼 wishing YOU, my good friend, a wonderful Christmas as well. There is another video coming, but ... save yourself the time during these busy days leading up to the actual 'event' 😊 much love to you! Thank you for all the support here, and for the friendship that I cherish so much! Have a wonderful day, amigo mio 🫶🏼❤️🌸
