This is why this show was so damned good. It would just unexpectedly grab you by the balls and make you want to cry and laugh with and for these people you don't even know because they're just characters. Jason Dohring and Kristen Bell are amazing actors, as well.

Say what you want about Jake Kane and the bad things he did but scenes like this show he actually genuinely cared about his kids. Definitely wasn't the best parent by any means but I wonder if Celeste ever gave a damn. She just seems to care about status and image no matter what has to happen to get it.
