Excellent teaching!!! I believe that we need to give a sacrifice of praising God with our thoughts, words and deeds. God wants us to love and obey Him. The animal sacrifice was without skins. Wow!! I realized that I had many things that were clothing me and making me feel blessed. I had to lose everything to gain what God had for me. I am naked in the garden with God but not out of shame etc. Wow!! Blessings

Adam was the one told, just maybe like a parent telling the child the fire is hot, you tell them not to touch the boiling pot of water because he loved her
Adam may have said Plenty ; not everything said is recorded . You ever tell a woman not to do something she's got her mind set to do? How did that work out for you ? I suspect YHWH leaves out the details so that we can put ourselves in the situations.
I love your teachings bill, me and my sisters always watch every Shabbat, always eye opening and deeper meaning, but ,Yep, im a cat lover, my pet companion is a cat and yes it did sadden my heart that you may think they are bad. because I see cats as the lion of Judah only smaller versions , dogs eat vomit, are dirty and kill to kill , people seem to protect and justify a dogs behavior and not mind if a dog kills a cat or even if a human does. I was raised to love all animals. I have a cat cause they are quieter and easier to care for and I have hypersensitivity and anxiety, so for me dogs cause that to be more elevated. Never the less, lets have some loving kindness toward all of Yahovahs creation and be protective of them all , since it is our job to be caretakers and stewards of the earth and life.
I see that adam and chavah were like children and in some ways were venerable because they were impressionable as new beings.
But did God say not to touch?
God said do not eat it.
Seems Adam told Eve not to touch it, which he had every right to do as her head .
I never thought of it from that perspective, but I like it, I see exactly what you mean! :)
