NFS Rivals was such an underrated game. I know it had a lot of bugs & got some backlash, but the gameplay & soundtrack were just so good. I've had some great memories on that game back during the PS3 days.
Played Rivals today for the first time in over like 3 years and this was the first song that came up. Brought back so many memories from 2013/14 PS4 days.
This game is amazing. My PS3 is dying anytime I play over 1 hour but as long as it still runs I will enjoy this game❤️ I love this game as well as the PlayStation 3

I remember playing this game when I was only 8-9 years old. NFS was a big part of my childhood, I played this again on PS4 and I’m 14 and it made me realize how much I loved this game as a kid. I already beat the game on racer and cop when I was a kid now I wanna do it again. But another game I really miss playing is need for speed most wanted, I wish I could play that game again but I can’t find it on PS stores

And then here comes Unbound who had the shittiest soundtrack I ever heard. Rivals was the last NFS game to feature a banger soundtrack. 2015 was decent but still good, Payback was average, Heat was absolutely bad, and Unbound's soundtrack is just pure garbage.
Play this when you're all by yourself in your car while it's raining and you're all cozy inside the rain hits the windshield and the wipers are on...with a drink in hand, open road

IMHO Rivals was the last NFS to have good replayability. Even the best of the post-2015 games, which is Heat, I get bored of rather quickly. Rivals is really the last NFS I that can make me lose track of time.

I was hoping that the PC version of Rivals wasn't going to be locked to 30 FPS when they said before the game came out that the game was gonna only run at 30 FPS (Devs claimed that AllDrive is why and they also decided to prioritize in Screen Resolution instead) mostly because I knew that the game's lead platforms was the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. I guess Ghost Games and EA were like "Nope, sorry PC players"... maybe later down the line they might re-optimize the PC version to lift the 30 Frames cap like what they did with the PC version of NFS The Run three months after the game was released (provided you turn V-Sync off).
i will have to restrain myself from speeding down the roads and drifting about, taking risky jumps etc, when i hear the nfs rivals songs, when i start driving real cars lmao
Why do people hate rivals? The customization isn't as good as new need for speed games but its still good, is it because the story is kind of (not really) dark? Idk game gets unreasonable hate
@@rjframe21 It got backlash because of the glitches. Once your game is glitched, you fall in the void forever and nothing will happen. The best way to prevent this one is to restart/exit the game and open it back up again.
