Carla looked as though she was about to cry with tears of happiness that she has finally found a loyal and supportive partner in Lisa and she can finally be sure that Lisa feels the same way about her. I think Lisa has been in love with Carla since the moment they had a "moment" but Lisa is only now brave enough to admit it because she did not want to get hurt again or to betray the memory of her former partner and because she thought Carla was straight (as did Carla). The way that Lisa hugged Carla and was gazing at Carla when they had a "moment" said "I love you" in a more heartfelt way than words ever could. I think Lisa said "you're good to me Carla" at that "moment" but was actually thinking "I love you Carla". I think Carla has been in love with Lisa since not long after that "moment". There was an scene not long after when Lisa avoided Carla in the cafe and Carla looked so hurt. That was definitely the look of somebody in love but thinking they were being rejected. For Carla it was a new experience, so there was a bit of confusion, but once she understood how she felt (with the help Ryan) and they became obviously much more than friends, she made the first move. The Carla and Lisa love story really has brought happiness to my heart this winter.
I love the “in it right up to my neck” line, the writers knew what they were doing with that one! And Carla’s look of disbelief/relief that she’s not being abandoned for once…ugh I love them

Okay, so you could tell Lisa found Carla attractive from their very first meeting cause lets face it who wouldn't. I definitely think though the turning point for her even though you could tell she fancied the pants off Carla beforehand was their "moment" ep. The way she was nestled into Carlas arms all content before gazing into her eyes. Then, before dashing out all scared, you could tell her heart was about to explode. Anything after that, she was just so closed off cause she was scared to get close to anyone again, which is so understandable. I think her admitting she loves her was as soon as Carla said about her possible kidney transplant again. You can see the thoughts rushing through her head like 'i can't lose you now' kinda thing. Very sweet

Has anyone noticed when Lisa say's "It's too late for that" before she say's "I love you Carla" she bows her head and it's like she's trying to avoid laughing. Like she knows what comes next is giving the fans exactly what they want. I wonder if they had difficulty filming that scene?
One other thing is when she said “try to move on” she looked directly at Carla like she was ready to admit it all in that moment she came ready to process her love. ❤❤❤❤
It would be cute if she got tested like Roy did the first time for Carla, but unfortunately, it's highly unlikely she'd be a match either, as well as Ryan. I think the only two that would be able to is Kate & Rob now. Kate was already a match previously, but unless they surprise us with a visit, it's not her. All I know is Rob is returning, so it's gonna be around him and he's a total nightmare. Probs get her to pay for it, knowing him

I think Kym was seen filming something near corrie Studios, which I think is most likely to do with something else BUT I'm hopeful it'll actually be a surprise and it's cause she's back on corrie. She said in August she wants to come back eventually and misses it. This kidney storyline is the perfect time to bring back Michelle with Carla, especially with the upcoming crap with Rob
@ yes I’d imagine so, my question would be if there gonna being back so many characters it might be a bit odd for so many of them to be concentrated around Carla - she can’t have everything surely? And altho maybe not so relevant it does paint quite the contrast with Carla suddebly having loads of people and friends to talk to and Lisa having nobody when she’s really struggling with grief the new relationship and so much she has to keep hidden as a police officer.. But thanks for the intel on Kym.. would be lovely to get to see her seeing Carla happy.
