So in summary (please correct me if I am wrong): 0. 'Rotation' means the 3 units you have available for a particular turn, and connotes that those 3 units will change each turn 1. Pick your leader and filter characters by their leader skill (or one of them) 2. Pick an ideal partner for your leader - that's rotation 1 3. Pick a strong pair of units for rotation 2 4. Pick 2 utility units (which will help you survive / buff the others / debuff the enemy) as 'floaters' (called so because they float between different rotations) 5. Pick a friend unit (note this unit can never start in slot 7) 5. At the start of the fight the characters load in a random order which could happen to match your 2 desired pairs, but if not you can any units which are in the wrong pair into slot 3 so that they can 'float' into another rotation --> Rotations 1 & 2 will alternate each turn, with the 'floating' units moving out of the current trio and into the next trio - appearing in slot 1 when they come back + You can preview who is going to appear next turn via the character 'wheel' in the bottom right of the screen
