A different way of ranking the values would involve giving the average rank to any ties. That method would be more accurate than this one, but would require some conditional coding for the ranking column. You really need to learn excel shortcuts first. Also, people already knows excel's basic functions like sorting , filtering etc; you don't need to make it boring.
I will suggest you prepare one as Mr. Gordon did.. He is considering all the audience. If people is proficient in excel, I am sure they do not need to use YT to figure out things.
This is the third video I found on this after looking at the online text, and the first one that made it understandable.

It is to correct or continuity since we are making it discrete.
Look up "continuity correction"

I didnt know any of this so this video helped me quite a bit
