Thank you, Michael. I wrote this during the initial Covid lockdowns when a few mother figures had passed away. I wanted to write something that expresses the tension between grief and hope. The longing we have for someone’s physical presence after they’re gone 💛

I have lost several friends and family these past couple of years, but unlike you I find it difficult or nearly impossible to express my sense of loss to others. I admire your ability to do that through song. Please continue, you have at least one person who appreciates your efforts!
